Good Friends Inc – Morrisville Detox and Rehab Services

Good Friends Inc – Morrisville is listed as running residential treatment. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

Good Friends is a place I will always remain a part of, they are family. This was the perfect place for me to get my life back on track. The case managers Sue and Mike made sure I was set up for success with life skills… classes that were actually very helpful and not just filler classes. If you need to get birth certificates, social security cards, id's they make sure you get them. There's a good mix of therapy and you can work and save all your money for your next step upon graduation from the program. Then there's the food you will never want for food. There's a chef there who makes meals Mondays thru Fridays for the whole house and the food is excellent. Thank you Megan for all your cooking and help. My therapist Kyle is very good at his craft, he's gonna make you work if you wanna help yourself and I appreciate him. So thanks again to everyone at Good Friends I'm forever grateful for everything.

I was at Good Friends recently. They say they focus on mental health as important as addiction, but they don't have any professional mental health providers on staff. There's no therapist knor Psychiatrist, just a N.P.… that only communicates via speaker phone which who didn't even know of my common blood pressure medication. The lady that runs the kitchen practices horrible unsanitary food handling skills. The female staff take first dibs on the food donation for themselves rather then letting clients get them. Transportation to appointments and work is limited and from a grumpy man who is mean and miserable. The only good I received from Good Friends was from Aaron, Clearance, and the interns. They have a lot of work to do as far as I'm concerned.

My time there was nice only very few staff members cares about your recovery it’s not really there best interest there a business making money off sick people and for being being a pantry that couldn’t be farther from… the truth they throw more free food away rather than allow people who actually need it to have it but I will say my counselor was one of best I’ve ever had
