About OHI – Bangor
OHI operates from 203 Maine Avenue in Bangor. The site sits in Penobscot County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Brewer, Hampden and Stetson. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.
Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Care offered spans more than one level, which means someone can move between them without changing provider.

Treatment Services at OHI
Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

OHI Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 203 Maine Avenue, Bangor, ME 04401, in Penobscot County. The catchment reaches Brewer, Hampden and Stetson. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

The caseworker Kelsey doesn’t seem to want to do her job and speaks to clients and their loved ones like they are a bother to her.
Great organization
My mental health has improved since being discharged from OHI case managent.I'm enjoying cleaning again, want to wear makeup again and doing errands by myself. Not being in control of my life for over 15 years was making… my mental health worse.
At first it was rocky like everything in my life, but then it got better. There are unfortunately still some people within the industry that have ruined the OHI reputation. That being said, almost every mental health… housing is that way. There are still those who care and I don't want to lose that because that's hard to find. I gave a 4 out of 5 rating because I believe in OHI.
A much needed organization helping so many people.
OHI is a great organization that helps people in need every day z
Lived in supportive housing for 8+years.
Not impressed with the care they have provided my family member. Refusing her medical care for 4 days and making her do things she did not want to do. Hopefully she pulls through but things are looking grim.
Recently I was on a flight to Florida and shared it with both staff and clients from OHI. The staff are the most caring and compassionate individuals!! I was so impressed of how I observed them going above and beyond… for all their clients. Your loved ones are truly loved. I am a retired nurse but if I was going to work I would check out OHI
Its alright friend told me haven't gone yet ill make more stars if I do
Someone answers and hangs up on me
My Landlord OHI Is awesome
