Pretty good up until they had a mini riot and somebody got SA'd

Do not send your child here. From a parents view this place is a collect the check and tell you want you want to hear kind of place. Therapist's do not take their job seriously, the on the floor staff do NOT monitor the… children. When brought up to management it was ignored. They will take your money but will do little good for your child. We wish someone would have warned us but went off of recommendations. Do not send your child here!!

Do not go here, my experience was very bad, the staff were very caring, and most of them wanted to help, but the place is just terrible, there is a poor schedule, the food is bad, and nearly every kid there was mad,… along with me. And the worst part is, a patient there attempted to force me to get intimate with them, by threatening with their life. Then they proceeded to tell everyone I did that to her, luckily evidence proved she did it, and I have been long past that incident. Though it happened because, we werent being supervised fully, the staff definitely try, but it still happened. Very dissapointing experience.

Pathlight was amazing! I felt safe leaving my daughter there. She learned a lot and had as good of an experience as you can…..Grace was amazing!!

I had a very disappointing experience with Pathlight-ERC in Northbrook. Communication was consistently poor — I was often told things were happening when they weren’t, and had to find out the truth through my child or… third parties. The online portal provided no updates or access to the care team, and a signed medication consent form wasn’t received on their end, delaying treatment. Despite their messaging about the importance of support systems, my child was isolated from approved contacts. I do not recommend this facility for anyone seeking thoughtful, coordinated mental health care.
