Renew – Grand Coulee Detox and Rehab Services

Renew – Grand Coulee carries a listing for intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Renew – Grand Coulee Address, Location and Contact Information

The site is at 322 Fortuyn Road in Grand Coulee, Washington, 99133. The city lies within Grant County. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Admissions lines are frequently busiest early in the week, which is worth knowing if the first attempt fails.

The Emergency Department, ER doc and team saved my son's life in February 2026! They got him stabilized and transported via fixed wing (airplane) because it was too foggy for the Life Flight helicopter. We can never… thank them enough!

We had to bring our 3-year-old into CMC Saturday around 6pm for a head cut, and honestly it could not have gone better. We were seen so quickly and were in and out in under 45 minutes, which as a parent with a hurt… toddler felt like such a relief. Nurse Edeline was AMAZING. She kept my son completely distracted while cleaning his wound, talking about his favorite songs, pets, and foods, and turned what could have been a really scary experience into something he was actually comfortable with. Dr. Dudenhoffer was just as wonderful. He explained all of our options (stitches, staples, or glue) in a way that made sense and let me decide without any pressure. He worked quickly, but never made us feel rushed, and I felt really confident in the care my son was getting. The two of them together made such a great team, and you can tell they truly care about their patients. Best part, on the way out my son said, “Mom, I had fun at the doctor!” which I feel like says everything. So, so grateful for the care we received. Thank you CMC 🤍

I was referred to the ER by this hospital’s urgent care for IV fluids and lab work. Immediately upon entering my room, Dr. Eric Arohnson brought up an opioid prescription I had from approximately two years ago, despite… the fact that I was not requesting any pain medication and had only asked for IV fluids and lab work. He also said, “Your eyes aren’t sunken in”, and asked “What emergency am I treating here?” (I believe twice). I told him I drink about 6–8 oz of water a day, and he said something to the effect of “That’s great”, then later stated, “I see no signs of dehydration.” (I will update here with more details when I mentally can) Dr. Eric Arohnson was hostile, spoke extremely fast, and was dismissive, had constricted pupils, making me feel unsafe. Only after I directly addressed his hostility did he change tone and begin taking action. His behavior triggered my PTSD and complete isolation; writing this review is causing left-sided chest pain and worsened flashbacks from this event and past medical neglect. I will not be seeking emergency care for this chest pain. I will update more if I can calm myself down, but I wanted to urge people not to send anyone they care about here. Sterile technique was breached with my IV, which I documented. The nursing staff were professional and compassionate, though clearly overworked. I had previously trusted this hospital, and it was the only local hospital I relied on — but Dr. Arohnson ruined that trust in a few minutes. I have lost all trust in this hospital, and if I ever have an emergency, I feel forced to drive myself hours away. I would strongly warn anyone with PTSD, ASD, anxiety, or other mental health issues to be cautious here. From what I overheard very clearly and loudly from down the hall, I could only hear Dr. Eric Arohnson and a nurse, never the patient, and Dr. Arohnson was possibly arranging for a police car to take another clearly vulnerable adult (in my opinion, as a vulnerable adult myself) home because he could not locate a certain symptom. Immediately after hearing Dr. Eric Arohnson’s loud, extremely fast speech in my room, I took a photo of the vitals monitor. At that point, my blood pressure was elevated and lowered after he left, reflecting my physiological response to his behavior. During the visit, the cap on my IV popped off and fluid was uncontrolled for approximately 15 seconds. The sterile part of the IV was touching the non-sterile pulse oximeter cord, and this issue was only noticed after I spoke up. I requested replacement of the cannula, because leaving it as-is risked unsterile fluid being pushed back into my bloodstream. I saw a few drops of fluid that were now unsterile backing up into my arm. If my memory serves correctly, I was told that an alcohol wipe could be used on the open, non-disinfectable end, which could have introduced isopropyl alcohol into my vein as well as bacteria from the cord that had contacted the fluid. Later, the physician returned and stated, “I understand your IV was infiltrated.” Scared of him, I agreed, then quietly asked the new nurse to correct it, explaining that I understand what infiltration is. This sequence of events felt like a cover-up and demonstrates a clear breach in sterile technique and patient safety. This visit needs to be strongly reviewed by risk management. I am mentally safe and not a danger to myself or others. I have submitted formal complaints to oversight bodies.

Top 3 worst hospitals ive ever been to! Had a new knee put in begining of the year, almost 30 days post op and stepping out of the shower the incision opened up at 11pm. Wrapped it up and went to bed to see the er in… the am. I show up about 10am. Wait for an hour before being seen. Once in the room give the run down of 19 surgeries and 60 broken bones since 2018. Explain to them that my skin sweats alot so glues and tape dont stick. Need sutures or staples to keep it closed. Well they didnt like that. Nurse went and got the dr and the dr came in no hi no how are you just straight to "i dont know what you think this is but this aint no ala cart hospital." In short i was denied medical attenion and left with the same open wound in my leg i showed up with The attitude of the dr is the bad experience, the fact she refused to treat me and went out of her way to convice the chief of staff not to treat me then sent me off. ZERO STARS!

Was seen very promptly, before I even finished at the front desk I was called back. The nurse was very gentle with drawing blood despite me being a hard draw. I have a long cardiac history and the ER doctor was very… thorough in taking notes, asking questions and calling my cardiologist for guidance. The quickest and best ER experience I have ever had out of many. Thank you Dr. Karen R for your attention to details and kindness.

The worst medical experience I’ve had every single time!!!! Go anywhere else. My first pregnancy the doctors ignored me when I reported leaking two weeks in a row. When it came time for inducing, the on-call Dr noticed… no fluids around the baby. The most traumatic experience of my life. Everything I wanted to happen didn’t happen. Had to have an emergency C-section and then he was heart flown to Spokane immediately to be in the nicu for a week. A whole year later i bring my baby in for a minor thing, he gets prescribed antibiotics. They never send it to the pharmacy an hour later!! No one ever answers the phone there. I don’t get calls back. Finally after blowing them up I’m told they did send it … but they’ll resend it and call. They don’t even do that !!! I’ve heard so many others having bad experiences and it amazes they haven’t improved at all.

My girlfriend went to Coulee Medical Center, Approximately 2 hours ago. She suffers from Severe Anxiety As well as Terrible Panic attacks. She has gone to CMC several times for this, only to be told to not come there… for treatment. Her Doctor, unknown, was Rude to my Lady, as well. Basically, scolding her, making her suffer worse. No offense to Grand Coulee, But this is unacceptable.

Very unfriendly, uncaring nursing staff. Slow, and indifferent to the patients and their concerned family members. Make family members feel unwelcome and just a bother. Would never recommend this hospital and would just… take my chances in another emergency situation and go somewhere else, no matter the time and distance. Would never come here again.

The ER DR. missed a.794 diameter mass on my right kidney and Dr. Dimino did not say one word to me about the emergent problems I told her about ove two appointments then forgot to make arrangements for a much needed… diagnostic colonoscopy for 3 more weeks. I had to fire her. I saw 3 different Dr.'s 5 visits and wasted over 5 months of progression on my problems. I believe it because I wear a Donald Trump hat!!! Or the Dr. Don't like to treat men, only obese women. There's no excuse for this kind of malpractice!!!

We waited 6+ hours to be seen by a doctor and get a prescription for an infection. There were only 3 other people in the waiting room when we arrived. While the staff was very nice, I cannot recommend this place.

This place has gone downhill over the years, takes forever to get my wife seen now, they WON'T schedule my daughter's wellness checkups, visits are turning into telehealth visits that they WON'T let you have at home… which is just plain stupid, the professionalism of the employees has gone massively downhill too, I was more or less told I could either take my appointment as is or go f myself in a more polite manner. My wife and I had a less then pleasant birth here and the nurses couldnt give a F, the male ultrasound tech is a creep and won't answer your questions even though he asked if I had any, treated me like a child. They cancel our appointments all the time more or less without warning. The doctor seeing my wife after her birth also doesn't know what he's doing, skipping crucial visits. This whole place has turned into a joke. Also this place charges you more then necessary and gets audited regularly and ends up refunding you pretty frequently at least that's our case. No body knows what they are doing here.

It took a very long time. All of the staff were nice except the ladies behind the counter when you go out the door that leads to where the nurses come in from. I asked if the doctor would be back with the medicine. She… was very rude and told me that there is pain medicine over the counter, as if it's my fault that she is in so much pain. Super rude about it. Bad experience.
