Saginaw County CMH Authority – Saginaw Detox and Rehab Services

The register shows Saginaw County CMH Authority – Saginaw providing intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

The record shows integrated treatment rather than one problem then the other. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

Saginaw County CMH Authority – Saginaw Address, Location and Contact Information

The site is at 500 Hancock Street in Saginaw, Michigan, 48602. This address falls in Saginaw County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

if you're trans and love being misgendered and harassed this is the place for you! throughout receiving services I constantly got called sir, being told I look like a male by two of my own former case managers (I have… long hair and a feminine face and voice) and even got harassed by a creepy customer guy who following me and asking where I'm going. I literally didn't even want to go to this facility most times because of how poorly I was treated by people here.

Well my mom’s house is located right next door to one of their “homes”, and Matt Briggs was in charge of it. Awhile back, a tree that’s located on their property, fell on my moms house. And in 2024, the rest of that… tree fell onto our property. I contacted Matt Briggs regarding this. He claimed the tree was right on the property line so they were only responsible for 50% of this. I told him that was inaccurate, but he insisted it was. At the the time, I was just going through cancer for the second time, and was so involved with that, that I just figured he knew where the property line was, seeing as how he was in charge of that home. You expect people in that capacity to know what’s what, but that was NOT the case. So I removed the tree and he paid me half of the estimate. Then I discover the “GIS” website, and it confirmed what I told him, that the tree was totally on their property by 2’-3’. Well now he got promoted and just wants nothing to do with it. I left him a message on 11-6-2025 and never received a call back. I called again and he answered but refused to even discuss it further than “I work for the county, the GIS isn’t accurate. So on and so on. When I originally brought this up to him, he was either lying, didn’t know the facts, and didn’t care to investigate. Or all 3. Pretty sad for an official working for the county. I will be going to the courthouse for info as well as the original surveying company. If I am wrong, I will be the first one to get back on here and correct this review. However, I know that I am NOT wrong, the original front cement cylinder marker is completely visible to this day, and when my sister and I put the privets in, I used the markers to center them. If anyone above Matt Briggs wants to discuss this, I would love to. Matt or Mike have my number. I will be updating this post as soon as I get further info

Worst building in Michigan. They just throw you on medicine after misdiagnose. If you have kids you think have mental illness just find better solutions because companies like this gets paid to keep you and on your… child on meds.

Self determination department is wonderful. ER crisis unit take an advocate as you will need one especially if you have a disability. Ask for a patient advocate also, wish we would have done that for our Loved one. Keep… pushing for help if you need it. We have found people that care and it makes a big difference!

Just got a call today from this office after being in a car accident. My trauma therapist referred to this place for a social worker from the car accident. The gentleman who completed the Intake was great! As for the… lady who called me today with a funky attitude & had no clue why the hell she called me. She asked me ?s I have no clue about asking about some appoint that wasnt known to me. I had never been to this place before and didnt have any issues before the accident. The other day I called to speak with the Intake person who did my interview the person who answered the phone had an attitude and placed me on hold by not telling me they were going to put me on hold. I was talking and they music started playing in my hear. This lady who called me today basically just ruined my day 100%. I will be letting my trauma therapist know that this is not a place for me. I am thinking about canceling my appointment with this company. I am not in the door good and is experiencing a ton of disrespect. I can imagine the disrespect other clients are experiencing from this company. That type of treatment comes from people wasting their time getting a job in the wrong field. It's like no type of passion from this company at all.

The woman on the phone was quite condescending. Very unprofessional for the people calling for services. The person I was trying to help was very upset and discouraged after this call and decided not to use SMH for… thier care.

I am not at all enthused with the service they provide. I had an appointment, they said a 10 min grace period. I arrived at the 10 min grace period, still not being seen. It’s not easy having a disabled teenager to… comply without meds. You all should have a little more consideration, with these grace periods!! 2 mins, with a adolescent that is off meds and probably stimulated, but we have to wait another hour or more to be seen. Never bring your children or loved ones. This place is very unprofessional and have no remorse for what happens here.

Very unorganized. Child wrap around program case managers lack direction and meaning. Case managers miss appointments frequently and are quick to blame the parent. Keep a journal and be prepared to be your child’s… advocate because they will not be. Lots of paper pushers, box checkers with no substance.

This place excels at helping with mental health and the DBT program is top notch. Individual services not so much, but this is an anti Xanax/Drug place yet some folks come thinking they'll score and leave angry and… upset.

This place is a joke, I have to go here and don't want to anymore I was part of the DBT program and I decided to drop out because I know I need trauma therapy first they cut off all my services they're supposed to send… me back to TTI and haven't referred me back to TTI this place is a joke and they let you run out of medicine this is why the mental health services in Michigan are broken

This place is very inconsistent, one person says and allows one thing and the next person is completely opposite! Staff needs more training and needs to treat their patients and families better. It’s more like a… detention center than a center for someone needing help. Very unprofessional and rude to patients and families alike! They need to do their jobs and forget the $ they are there to make, if you aren’t In it to do a job and care for these struggling kids then go work somewhere else! Have a heart! They’re struggling so are those of us who love and care for them at home. Everyone needs to be on the same page! MDHHS wouldn’t be very pleased to hear from patients and families who need to start speaking up, if you can’t advocate for yourselves find someone who can advocate for you! If you have a choice in location for your loved ones don’t send them here. Not one person has been consistent or followed guidelines or schedules that we were given. The website needs to be updated with photos, information about the services provided, the activities, daily schedules, staff qualifications, nutrition guidelines, what to expect, what to pack, who to contact with questions or issues, complaints etc! Luckily I know what and who to contact and will be reporting this facility!
