Salvation Army – Clinton Township Detox and Rehab Services

Salvation Army – Clinton Township appears on the register for detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. The withdrawal stage is clinically observed, which is what makes it safer than stopping alone. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

i am just curious what person with a college degree said that a addict with his or her phone in rehab will be able to figure out how to stop the madness? i know if i would have had m phone i would not be coming up on 3… years clean now. i know when i had a phone i never focused on the problem. and to be honest i was setting up delivery to me. shame on you for allowing this. and yes i was in this rehab also. did not get much because i was not ready

Very unprofessional, they don’t care about you , none of these places do . The true source of power is through our savior Christ , All things are possible through God . These places do not care at all . Very rude . I… felt like I was talking to somebody off the street . Not a person of profession . I am not sending my loved one here . Things have changed tremendously since I’ve been here in 2022 .

I've read past reviews and it's disheartening to hear given my time while short was beneficial. Yes the men's bathroom was atrocious but I dare you to make me one rehab facility that accepts medicaid insurance where the… men's bathroom doesn't look bad. Sacred Heart for example is supposed to be the top tier for bottom insurance and the men there never flush leave their stuff all over it's like that especially in detox grown men don't know how to use proper hygene. But the staff went I was there a couple months ago were amazing friendly and funny especially Diamond she had me laughing a lot. The food is pretty good so I don't know what the one guy was complaining about mold. I've been to some of the best and worst rehabs and I can tell you it's what you put into it. If you are trouble you are gonna attract trouble or if you think you can just come in and coast and not participate then you won't get anything out of it. I had a bad relapse recently and unfortunately have to go back but I'm glad I'm going back to a place that has love and cares. Only negative thing I can say is what most would consider great is that they allow you to bring your personal cellphones in. Its great to listen to music and text family to passed the time but there is too much temptation to call or text the wrong people who could convince you to reconsider wanting to stay. Other than that I give this place a 5 and they do a lot with not having a lot of money

I called like 3 times throughout the day to make sure everything was all good and set up for me to come yet when I show up at 10:15pm the guy tells me to wait in the lobby until 11pm. Come 11:30 he's laughing and joking… right behind the lobby door like I cant hear & see him. Then he gone take all my stuff out my bag check me all that while I'm sick with-drawling just for this nurse to say i don't have enough drugs in my system to be there like duh i came here to withdrawal now its like 12Am im sick thankfully I found a ride home but the whole experience was ridiculous.

The detox facility takes people off the street 24/7, that’s an amazing thing. The detox nurses deal with a lot and do it with kindness, compassion, and composure. I am incredibly grateful for the rest they provided me… that I was in desperate need of. If you are a person with the capacity to donate to a facility, this is the one. They are operating with limited resources.

The men's side of the facility has had no heat since the beginning of February. They pass out the wrong meds to people. They consistently lose meds of the patients. The Clinical Supervisor Kaitlin L tells patients to… leave when they share concerns about the way things are handled. The monitors (Andrew) refer to clients as bums from the street. Enforce rules that are not known as they have no set of rules for the people coming in. Clients been asking for a copy for months and are just told they are under review.

ABSOLUTE 💯 PERCENT FAILURE RATE AND THATS EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT.......A REVOLVING DOOR STRAIGHT BACK TO THERE BANK ACCOUNT....THE STAFF ARE EITHER SO JADED OR JUST TRULY DON'T BELIEVE IN WHAT THERE OWN PROGRAM TO MANY… THINGS TO LIST .BUT I THINK IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF CARE FOR A FELLOW HUMAN BEING AND THAT SHOULD START FROM THE TIME YOU CALL TO GET A BED UNTIL YOU WALK OUT OF THE DOOR. STATE SHOULD HAVE STEPPED IN AT THIS PLACE LONG AGO 😒 🙄 SAD TO SEE SICK PEOPLE BEGGING FOR HELP ONLY TO BE TREATED LIKE A BLIGHT AND PUSHED OUT THE DOOR BROKEN AND HOPELESS 😔. WHEN YOU ARE PAID TO CARE FOR SICK PEOPLE AND YOU FAIL BECAUSE YOU DON'T CARE IF THEY SUCCEED OR NOT ...YOU HAVE FAILED AT YOUR JOB AND IN YOUR LIFE.

Sadly, I agree with the negative review that says this place should be shut down. Do not come here for opiate detox because they make you get out of bed every two hours in order to get your comfort meds. They can only… give one type of medication every two hours, so you have to get up 3 separate times every two hours and beg the nurses to give you your meds, and most of the time they will say no or that you have to wait, or they won't even be at the nurse's station. QBH in Detroit was far better for opiate detox. In the bathroom there was a single toilet for the women in detox...you can imagine it got pretty gross in there. There were ants everywhere. They didn't give me all my meds when I checked out, I had to come back for them another day. This place is disorganized and unkempt and they made me suffer.

I see mainly 5-star and 1-star ratings. That says to me the ratings are more about attitude than anything else.

Atrocious facility. Bathrooms are unusable. No soap. No toilet paper. The food is expired and growing mold. The people that work here do not care. They withhold your meds when you try to leave. This place needs to be… shut down immediately. Says medical facility but doctor only comes once a month. Shouldn’t even be legal.

The place is horrible, the staff is more manipulating then the addicts. They lie lie and lie treat you with total disrespect I'm getting a hold of the Health Service in reporting all these issues. They call themselves… salvation Army hide behind God and Jesus Christ. I watched some kick a girl out in the middle of the night with nowhere to go I got one question to everybody out there what would Jesus do

I just have to say that I went up there to pick up my daughter stuff your staff really need to be trained in how to treat people I was not the only person that felt it I now they got through a lot dealing with addicts… but I was only there to pick stuff up so if I'm treated like that how are you treating the ones that come to do the program they are human please train your staff

The staff is highly inappropriate. Namely Tasha & Holly. Female staff have inappropriate relationships with clients then the clients get kicked out. Female staff goes into male clients rooms alone. It is not safe. Staff… also helps clients order items from a local party store to be delivered to the facility.

State reduced availability to 29 day treatments which is enough for 99% of addicts but detroit harbor light was a great. Welcoming unifying experience. Food was B+ staff is usually 💯 nothing to be too beyond or… personally vindictive as some narcissistic would comment otherwise but I loved this place, Mr minor is the best professional therapist I've gained from in a while. Elmhurst is -100 doesn't even compare
