Talbert House – Mount Orab Detox and Rehab Services
What Talbert House – Mount Orab offers, on record, is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Staff are angels and all of them truly care about your well being, and want to see you thrive. Sadly theres only one doctor there and they work once a week, and they're quite a bit stingy with certain medications (Like… amphetamines for ADHD and Benzos for panic disorder). Highly reccomend this place for therapy and some mental health medications, but I'd look elsewhere for primary care.
I can't get medication for my son for two weeks and the doctor (the only one) only works one day a week! There's also only one nurse. We had a genesight medication testing and have never been given the results.… Appointments have been cancelled multiple times. I do not recommend this place for having a child see a psychiatrist.
Great PCP MEDICAL SERVICE
For me personally I have had a great experience with SARAH LIPKA as my p.c.p and have felt like she has taken the extra time to not only get to know me personally. Along with truly looking into my medical history as… well as trying to find other safer ways to help me
Staff are very nice and welcoming
I called the day before I went in to make sure they had actual doctors on staff that can prescribe what I needed. I was there at 8 the next morning, filled out paperwork. Was told to wait, I would be called back for… acessment and and to see someone. After talking to the worker, trying to explain what going on and why, she proceeds to tell me they don't have psychiatrist there just a n.p.and shy could only prescribe the 2 meds I had recently tried and so they couldn't do nothing for me. Really? Well I tried calling a couple psychiatrist and dang if they don't work at the Talbert House. They refused to help someone who truly needed help ill never recommend this place to anyone. I'm still in need of help but this place doesn't care . I just don't understand why they treated me like this. My other Drs are shocked too I'm not in a good place mentally but what am I supposed to do?
The Talbert House is a powerful community-based organizational construct that serves the interest of the local community the interest of mental health and concerns for the safety and direct concerns for the needs and… wants and what the community serves This is a vested best organization in town for mental health You may not believe it or not but it's the best thing that ever come to Brown county in my concern the Talbert House earns a perfect score at 5.1 beyond five stars rating
Well… don’t get too attached to a therapist- the good ones ALWAYS leave. This place is a springboard or a last stop for professional careers… Special shoutout to Dr Michael Wilson- you are a venomous snake who shouldn’t… prescribe for stuffed animals, let alone flesh and blood humans… may you rot. Worst. Ever.
Great facility
They refused to help me. I'm not an addict I went there to get help for severe panic disorder. I can't even drive due to my panic attacks I never leave my house Chris the Dr. Just didn't care at all.
❤❤❤
I have been seen here for almost 2 years now. It has helped me so much. I started having really bad panic attacks and anxiety about 2 years ago and I started going here to get guidance and learn how to manage it. I told… them I wasn't interested in medicating to help deal with it and they respected that. I have learned so much and continue to learn so much about myself and how to deal with situations that arise that might send me into a tailspin.
Should not be inappropriate to have the source of having business this place is not licensed they do not have licensed counselors they do not have licensed therapists I was told by someone pacifically from the front… desk they have been not licensed since 2021
I just would like to take a minute to show my appreciation, gratitude and thanks to Talbert House Mount Orab.. This place is not only a wonderful facility but also has helped me and made a huge impact in my life and… sobriety.. The people that I'm privileged to work with are absolutely amazing and even when I wasn't ready they were still there waiting!! Myself and the help from Amanda, Anna, Alyssa, Cali, Emily, Phaedra, Tom an so many more.. I have been able to turn my life around and begin to actually live and be happy!! Great staff , wonderful and friendly staff
Amazing people been with is site for 3 years now and couldn't be happier
This place has helped my Foster daughter tremendously!
👍
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS i went here a few years ago because i wanted help trying to not want to kill myself the doctor did a trial run of wellbutrin, as most do, and when that didnt work, she said to me i think… you just need to get some sun and exercise. even though one of my symptoms was being feeling so weighed down that i could barely get out of bed if i was having a rough time with my mental health. after she told me that i stopped going went through a really rough time feeling like not even the people who were supposed to help me cared. thankfully i decieded to try one more place before i attempted again. between that and therapists at max lasting 3 weeks before i get shuffled to someone else this is not somewhere to go if you need help only if its court ordered to sign a paper for you
Help is there if you need it
