Turning Point Inc – Paterson Detox and Rehab Services

Turning Point Inc – Paterson is recorded as offering detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Supervised withdrawal comes first, with the greatest danger in the opening seventy-two hours. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Turning Point Inc – Paterson Address, Location and Contact Information

Records give the address as 680 Broadway, Paterson, New Jersey, 7514. Paterson sits in Passaic County. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.

I recommend going to a different spot they are cash grabbers they dont care about helping you, the food is awful especially if you have allergies they dont care. Staff is awful, and most of the stuff they give you or… feed you is expired. All they want is your money stay away i couldnt finish my treatment there because of how awful it was

The worst rehab in the state. The staff was the most unprofessional staff I ever encountered. They wouldn’t give me my medication that I usually take. They threw away all my medicine when they did my intake. When I… explained my concern to the director she was laughing in my face and purposely kept saying my name wrong after correcting her multiple times. The nurses are a joke. The head nurse was extremely rude showed no concern for anyone.Multiple clients told me they received the wrong medication.Do yourself a favor and never step foot in this hell hole.

I went to tuning point & spent 2 nights in detox the 3rd day i signed my 48 & left that day. Since i wanted to leave the staff made me sit outside in the cold i couldn't even wait in the lobby for my ride who was coming… from south jersey which was a hour & 40 min drive. The staff was extremely unprofessional! 1 staff member i forget his name a older man felt the need to laugh and talk about another patient to me . I felt like all the staff always had attitudes. The food was the absolute worst! Only good thing this place offers is tvs in your room but the rooms was very dirty & the room i had the water never got hot. It's very small & the main room was even smaller . The kitchen area was literally in the room where they held the groups . I wouldn't recommend this place to my dog.

I am and will forever be so grateful to this place and its staff. I feel I’ve learned so much about myself and now have a good awareness of why I’ve felt the way I have my whole life, so irritable and disconnected from… the world. Big thank you to all the staff, Tamara, Ms. Mayling, Bryant, Dwayne, Tim, Ms Keisha, Isabella, Patrick, The Dave’s, Ms.Q, Gus, Vince, Dawn, all have the interns, everybody there helped me more then they will ever know by teaching me how to get honest and open minded to a new way of life. Turning point as well as life in general is what you make of it, I’ve been fighting with drug addiction for 20yrs and could never understand why no matter how successful I would get on the outside I would always turn back to drugs in the end. I finally came to understand that for me it had to be addressed on the inside, I had to open up about everything I’ve ever been through whether I thought it was relevant or not to my addiction. I’m so grateful that I’ve finally surrendered to this process, learned how to accept my past, help, and that this is a life long process that is well worth the effort. If you are suffering from addiction please try and stay open minded, turning point is a great facility it you want to learn how to begin to change your life

I cannot even describe into words right now how the staff has been verbally disrespectful and more than once was hung up on , also was told false information about my significant other who is at the facility. I’ve been… doing research on this dump and also asked numerous people about the facility and got nothing but negative feedback! Btw my name is DEMI MORGAN I’m using a friends account on google but regardless my significant others name is Jeffery and all we’re trying to do is get in contact with each other and to bring him his belongings and I have gotten every excuse under the sun! I do apologize for being so bold but this isn’t showing any type of good vibes here. This has been a very difficult and stressful day trying to get through to these people! SMH should b ashamed of ur selves.

I get three stars for this place for the most part this rehab was difficult to be in and it's surprising to say this because I've been in two therapeutic community rehabs I felt like some of the staff here had something… against me one staff member was prejudice or a few of them I should say which made it kind of uncomfortable to be here I arrived in January 2007 for 30 days for drug court when your program was in Secaucus we had to walk all the way to integrity House to have our meals in the mess hall what was also very surprising that I went to go sit over to a table with a few black people that I grew very close to in there in the middle of lunch I was told to get up and find another place to sit I did make my grievance known and the other guy that was sitting at the table was very upset the only part I have to say my head counselor in there Roberta she was amazing cared about me very much she wanted me to keep in contact with her a few times when I got released to make sure that I was okay

This place is the worst IOP program I’ve ever been to. They do NOT care about helping you and are money driven. I’ve been in the program for about 3 months because I needed help which was difficult to request help in… the first place. My counselor, Eleanor Dragonetti, discharged me from the program because they word for word “weren't making enough money off of me” due to the fact that I had mandatory court dates I had to attend on specific dates. Regardless of my mandatory court dates and proof from the courts, they didn’t want to hear it. I had asked if one of the staff, David Tauber, write up in my discharge papers stating the reason I was let go was because of my schedule not working with my court dates in which he agreed to write it up himself personally. Instead he had my old counselor Eleanor Dragonetti, (who is no longer a staff at Turning Point) write up a false report stating my discharge is due to me ‘not answering my phone’ and being ‘disruptive’ in group by being on my phone. I am still in touch with the individuals who attended group at Turning Point with me, where I have witnesses reporting I was never on my phone during group sessions and there is no proof of me missing a phone call when I had to attend a court appearance. They are extremely unprofessional.
