Valor Recovery Centers – Youngstown Detox and Rehab Services
What Valor Recovery Centers – Youngstown offers, on record, is residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Valor Recovery Centers – Youngstown Address, Location and Contact Information
Valor Recovery Centers – Youngstown is located at 45 North Canfield Niles Road in Youngstown, Ohio, 44515. Mahoning County covers this area. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. The practical question of getting to appointments week after week is worth thinking through at the outset.
Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Everyone was good but if I was owner of this treatment canter than I won’t let that case manager work there because of her I seen 5 people leaving the facilities without completing treatment.she put pressure on people… and do interfere on our treatment journey.
This place is terrifying and horrible! They would only let me make a Safe Call when I got there and when I asked to use it again because my vision from the infection I have was going bad I wanted to call my Dad and the… first call was to my boyfriend they told me I only get one call. They also told me that if I left I could not get belongings for 48 hrs. I know some of Youngstown but not the area I was at. They have my phone in my belongings so basically they were going to let me out with nothing...not even a phone call to get a ride. I had them take me to a hospital with no sign on it. They would not give me my sub even though I take it 3 times a day. I left the hospital and called my boyfriend at Walmart. A big NO for this place!
Huge shout-out to all of the staff at Midwest Recovery!! Happy Thanksgiving to you all! 🦃🦃🦃 I just want to say for anyone out there who is struggling, and has access to a phone, I highly recommend that you reach out to… them here, they will pick you up and get your life back on track! Just need insurance! If you value yourself and your life, and are looking for a recovery program that will not only teach you the fundamentals to a 12 step program, you can repair your cognitive health as well as physical fitness with access to a fitness center on site that has every machine imaginable! 💪💯 Midwest has a healthy selection of snacks and fruit as well as a nice selective of juices throughout the day. 3 very highly nutritional meals that will leave you full after every single meal!! ❤️❤️ The nursing staff is on site as well and are on point ☝️ Theyre professionalism mixed with they're compassionate care is high above any expectations! I just completed this program as of this past Saturday. I was there a total of 30 days, and I took advantage of every last morning meditation group, meeting, and my down time! I was able to take a true look at myself with the curricular activities as well as open group discussions. The BHT staff is very passionate about they're job. I start by saying that They are also recovering of something or another. They can relate like no other. They are compassionate and there professional expertise of they're jobs, but being able to keep an even playing field by admitting things from theyr own past, really made group experience that much better for me! I really enjoyed this program! I learned the cognitive behavior/ fundamentals in connecting with a sponsor to start my 12 step program to my recovery/sobriety! Thank you all at Midwest Recovery!!! Austintown, Ohio in the house!!! Love you all!!!
I think it's says alot when the facility doesn't respond to accusations, makes me think the positive ones are employees??? I'll look elsewhere
The people that work here truly understand and are so very kind. I wasn’t able to be admitted due to timing issues however that didn’t stop Brandy from checking on me in the entire next week and more. She gave me really… helpful tips resources and just was there when I really needed somebody to talk to honestly. I will always be grateful for that. when you’re in addiction and seeking help even in a treatment center there is a lot of people that work there that Treat you like you’re a junkie, instead of a person that’s asking for help. During my almost 4 years of using, I’ve only met 4 Medical professionals that would treat me with dignity, respect, and kindness. 2 of those people are from Midwest Center at Youngstown. Brandy and Rob (picked me up) they will provide transportation from Cleveland ! If you need treatment and you need help, I highly highly recommend!!!
Terrible place to be...they literally stole hundreds of dollars worth of my clothes, hats, socks,,shoes, and even underwear!!!and they act like I never brought any of the items that were supposed to be documented when I… got there..
It’s actually a very nice and clean place. The staff is good, the food is good. Smoke breaks are an added bonus. The only complaint I have here is that on the girls side they have both detox and residential in the same… small cubicle area. It’s hard for the detox patients to fully detox without the respect of the residential patients. That area needs its own place for both patients to meet their needs fully!
I had a blessed experience it is what you make it all the bad reviews that I've read before this.i feel bad for those people's negative experience... they seem to have made great progress I'm proud of the team work I… see there and was treated with respect thankful for all who was part of my short visit there.. although small improvement can be presented it wasn't something I dwelled over...thank you for reading this...
Absolutely the best decision I made in a long time. The staff is amazing. The food is cooked with love. And the possibilities for growth are endless there. Give yourself a chance. Midwest is s great start.
i never leave reviews but this place is absolutely ridiculous. i’ve called numerous times with no answer and left several voicemails to get ahold of ANYONE so i could check on my loved one. they left me totally in the… dark and i was worried sick. then after my loved one left, they held her things which sucks but it would’ve been fine if they secured her items. her things were stolen??? shame on everyone here
This place has broke all hippa act confidentiality with their clients. I do not recommend sending your loved ones there unless you want everyone knowing their personal business. My loved one is there and people have… contacted me asking me how I am doing and they know what is going on because my loved ones counselor is their friend who informed them. When it was brought to the staff about their counselors big mouth, they said it is the workers word against my loved ones. Lol! More action is going to take place because no ones personal info is safe in this so called professional treatment center. And I know what it's like to seek help and the professional has broke confidentiality.
Great food and solid foundation for recovery. If u r need great place to get into.
This place helped me get my life back. The staff are truly committed to helping people like me who don’t know where to turn in their addictions. I would always recommend Midwest to someone who needs help with detox and… residential treatment. We are worth it, and it was awesome to have others help me to find that within myself.
The main person here John or whatever he's on trash all the time .. they kicked me.and my husband out after knowing we was together for over a week they would has rather seen us relapse than be a couple in there… thaysblpgicsl right
