I called the clinic to attempt to schedule a first time appointment, this person wasn’t available, so then the front desk lady was asking me some questions to schedule an appointment with someone else. Even tho I was… answering her question about why I’m looking to schedule an appointment she responded “you didn’t answer my question so idk”. Then I told her what kind of Dr I wanted, and she said “that’s not what you need, you need someone else” respectfully, I’m telling you what I need, all I need is for you to schedule an appointment, who are you to tell me that’s not what I need? Front office lady also kept interrupting me and talking over me. Honestly she was wildly disrespectful. I have never had an experience like this from a medical “professional” facility. Please, find someone else to answer your calls, they’re supposed to be the “face” of the clinic and she couldn’t have done a worse job at making this location look horrible. I called at an attempt to reach out for help from a professional and instead I got taken aback, disrespected and dismissed.

She listens with care and offers insightful guidance that… has made a real difference in my life. I also want to acknowledge Dr. Kurter, whose expertise and approach are equally commendable. I’ve been a patient of West Grove in Oak Creek for around 5 years, maybe longer. In the beginning I saw various providers for my psychiatry needs, but have been connected and consistently seeing Dr. Kurter for around 3… years now. Wow! He changed my life. I am so thankful to have him as a provider. When we met, he reassured me that there was help for what I was seeking help with and was able to connect me with medication that has made a drastic change in how I see the world. I struggled for years and years with my mental health, and what I appreciated about him was that he was so knowledgeable about what I was experiencing and could explain to me in a way that I could understand why I was experiencing certain things as well as how I could help myself and how to monitor myself in the future. He was also so helpful to me and my family when my husband and I decided to try for another baby. I think what’s kind of cool is Dr. Kurter knows me so well that he can tell when I’m struggling with my mental health or other needs based off of just a few minutes of talking. I’ve also been connected with my therapist Anna for 2-3 years now. She is amazing! She listens to me so well, and doesn’t push me too hard to get to deep into the things I need to address until I’m ready. She’s seen me at some low moments, and has taught me how to work through those times and always emphasizes taking care of myself. I also appreciate Elizabeth at the front desk. She knows me by my nick name, since I don’t generally go by my full name, and I seriously appreciate that because i don’t have to explain who I am over and over again, she just knows. Elizabeth always helps me schedule appointments out months at a time, which is super helpful for my scheduling needs. Honestly, Dr. Kurter and Anna are always super flexible in their scheduling as well, which is super helpful. Elizabeth also helps me figure out any insurance questions I have, which is so helpful because I can be kind of clueless about co pays and all that stuff. I also forgot to mention, I absolutely love that I can see my therapist through telehealth. I have a newborn and it’s just much easier to not have to travel with her when I have an appointment. I love West Grove so much and appreciate what they’ve done for my life so much that I’ve actually referred 2 other people for care here. I truly mean it when I say, if you’re looking for providers who care about you as a whole person, I definitely recommend going to West Grove.

Both Anna and Kristina are both amazing. Very accessible and responsive. Couldn’t be any happier with the help both my daughter and myself have received.

Dr Kurter & his practice has saved my life!! As a former addict for more than 1/2 of my life, I’m finally able to say proudly that thanks to Dr Kurter I have finally broke free from that horrible life of misery &… destruction & I’m beyond grateful for Dr Kurter. I have been a patient of his over 10+years & once I finally got serious about wanting to be clean for myself and my kids, I finally broke free and have been clean & sober for years & if not for Dr Kurter I know I can say with certainty that I would not be where I am today & would have died due to my addiction, as I used so much daily that I would plead with God to save me and not let me die because my heart rate would be dangerously high & then suddenly drop & I knew I was not in a good way & probably was going to die, I had almost weekly seizures due to OD’ing, I constantly had partial paralysis of my face similar to having a stroke, like mini strokes, as well as I had severe brain damage due to using so much that my tongue was stuck hanging out of my mouth while drooling & my eyes would be stuck staring at the ceiling & no matter how much I tried I couldn’t stop it & would be stuck like that for hours, I honestly never thought I’d recover from that without permanent brain damage or worse, but thanks to Dr Kurter’s help I finally started putting my whole heart into my recovery because I couldn’t live with the fact I was risking putting my kids through possibly being without a mother if I continued…I just want to say if you’re reading this today and truly want help & looking for recovery, please don’t debate it anymore & please just do it, not only for yourself but for your loved ones, because you deserve a better life and to be happy and you will never truly be happy if you continue your addiction, your life is too precious & too short to waste it being miserable in addiction…I seriously recommend Dr Sellahattin Kurter and his colleagues here at West Grove Clinic. Dr Kurter is a very kind and compassionate Doctor and truly cares about his patients and wants to help you get better because he doesn’t want you to suffer in silence, which so many of us do. Dr kurter not only helps with addiction but Mental Health issues & ADHD & ADD as well. In my 30+years of addiction & Mental Health issues I’ve never had a Doctor who I felt truly cared about my personal wellbeing & wants me to recover & puts my health & best interests in mind the way Dr Kurter & his Doctors here at West Grove do!!! If you’re serious about changing & getting help from your addiction &/or Mental Health you need Dr Kurter & the other Doctors here at West Grove!! Please put your trust into the hands of Dr Kurter & I promise you will not regret it, you deserve it to yourself to live a better, healthier & happier life & a life worth living!! Best of luck! Dr Kurter and his staff saved my life, his program is the whole reason i am able to write this review. Professional and respect are shown even at the lowest point of your life, you are worthy and they will make you feel… that in every sense.

Treatment was good, but trying to obtain completion paperwork has been difficult to say the least. They don't return phone calls and seem very unorganized for such a small office.

Very impressed from the Receptionist to Miss Wendy Ward. Excellent Customer Service and Wendy works with you. I highly recommend both.

The new front office staff sucks! The Ben guy that answers the phone is less terms incompetent! The Elizabeth is nice but not very helpful! I had to go without meds over a weekend because nothing was communicated to my… provider.!! Where is Donny and Justin? Are they no longer with the company? They were the best! You need to have them train your new people. Talk about incompetency!! Horrible service. Your point of contact is important for any establishment and this combination you have now have very huge shoes to fill!

Can never get a call back and now front desk hours are limited! Amy who answered my call was very unhelpful. I tried to return to west grove because the service there was always great and the front desk was kind and… compassionate. Where did Donnie and his team go? They were always very helpful and very approachable. This Amy chick needs training on how to handle patients!! So rude and unhelpful!!! Donnie if you see this, Please come back they don’t know what they’re doing!

In my experience West Grove is one of the best clinics you can go to for recovery mental health and addiction treatment I've been going there for years and it's been great and it's helped me immensely I highly recommend… if you need help with treatment or recovering that you call West Grove. Dr Kurter is an awesome doctor gray guy and he is help me in many many ways and still does to this day.

I have been coming to west Grove for the past 7 years. And they are the first clinic i have gone too in the 15 yrs I have been trying to get sober that has actually succeeded!! The counselors and psychologists are… amazing and really care about their clients!!

The front desk are great they sign us in they laugh and talk to us about the west grove clinic it is the sweetest place and cleanest place you can get help and love from the front desk and the doctors and they are very… pleasant to us they shows us their love. I have been coming to West Grove Clinic for about 2 years now for my psychiatrist and therapist... I absolutely love both of them... I see Doctor Bracciano for psychiatry and Rehna Ripley for therapy ... They are both… amazing at what they do... The front desk staff is also amazing!! They are super friendly and very helpful, every time I come in or call they are able to fix whatever issue I'm having immediately... I'm able to get ahold of my psychiatrist and therapist, whenever I need to speak to them, I'm able to use their extension and they get back to me promptly with a response... I wish all of my doctors were like this honestly. I highly recommend West Grove Clinc if you're looking for a place to come for mental health needs. Among other things that they offer, they are amazing with my mental health issues... I honestly feel like a person and not just a burden or a number...everyone here knows me by name and I've never had one bad experience with anyone. West Grove Clinc is the best!!!

I have been going to West Grove Clinic, SC for over 6 years now. The staff has been wonderful. It is a welcoming place where the front desk staff remembers names and are personable and friendly. I have been to other… clinics and hospitals, and I haven't looked back at them. I have a wonderful, very genuine, knowledgeable, smart, kind, caring, personable doctor. His name is Dr. Selahattin Kurter, MD. and I highly recommend him. He is the kind of doctor that makes his patients feel welcome, heard, and hopeful for a bright future no matter what addictions or struggles one has gone through.

I have been seeing Anna for about a year, and have nothing but good things to say! She was extremely compassionate right from the start , which made it very easy to open up to and talk with her. I believe she truly does… care for her clients, and that shows in her kind and understanding nature in trying to get to the root of underlying issues. She's great!

My therapist and psych are very communicative and go above and beyond to help me reach my goals. They're non judgemental even when my mood isn't the best.
