Drug and Alcohol Rehabs in Tehachapi, CA

Tehachapi sits at around 4,000 feet in the pass that separates the southern San Joaquin Valley from the Mojave Desert, in the mountains of eastern Kern County.

The Tehachapi Loop was completed in 1876, a spiral of track that gains height by crossing over itself, and it remains one of the busiest freight routes in the country.

The pass channels wind reliably enough that some of California’s earliest wind farms were built on the ridges here, and the turbines are visible from most of the town.
