Drug and Alcohol Rehabs in Reynoldstown, Atlanta

Reynoldstown was founded by freed people after the Civil War and named for one of its first residents, and it remained a Black working-class neighborhood for most of the twentieth century, with the railway providing most of the employment for four generations.

It sits between Cabbagetown and Edgewood along the railway that gave most residents their employment, and the Beltline’s Eastside Trail now runs through it. The trail has done more to change this neighborhood in fifteen years than the previous fifty did.

The neighborhood has changed rapidly since 2010, and the tension over that is live rather than historical.
