Cottonwood Tucson Detox and Rehab Services

An eight-bed detox unit with round-the-clock nursing manages withdrawal from alcohol, opioids including heroin and fentanyl, benzodiazepines, methamphetamine and cocaine, and medication-assisted treatment is part of that care. Residential treatment follows, combining individual and group therapy with CBT, DBT, EMDR, motivational interviewing, somatic experiencing, 12-step facilitation and recreation therapy.

A seven-day inpatient assessment program brings together psychiatric, medical and neuropsychological workups. The Tactical Recovery track serves veterans, active-duty members and first responders, families can attend a five-day family program, and alumni keep meeting weekly online and on campus. Partial hospitalization and IOP groups run from the outpatient building.

Cottonwood Tucson Reviews

Anyone weighing up a live-in treatment program wants to hear from someone who has already done it. If Cottonwood Tucson has been part of your own recovery, or a relative’s, your account fills that gap. It is described as 35-acre desert campus combining detox, residential and a seven-day inpatient assessment program; a review is where that claim gets tested.

Who can review it: veterans and serving personnel and spouses and family, and VA and TriWest case managers. The questions people actually have are how closely withdrawal was monitored, how the living arrangements worked and whether appointment times held up. Short and specific beats long and general.
