Safe place
Before beginning IOP I did not realize how juvenile my behavior/ thinking was and how that was affecting my closest relationships. Completing the program and having the support of the phenomenal LL I’m unlearning… negative patterns and developing a new sense of being, a sense of self really. This is very difficult work for me and I’m a very slow work in progress. She’s is beyond understanding, she’s patient while guiding me along, and consistently gives me awesome food for thought. I’m always so grateful leaving my appointment with her.
I've had a great experience so far meeting with Mary
The front desk employees are so kind, the therapy is amazing.
If I could offer zero stars I would. Absolute scam! You say you want one counseling session month and they say you must do weekly, they don't communicate that their staff doesn't accept insurance until AFTER your… appointment. A complete joke. Don't waste your time, your mental health is more important than the game they're playing.
DBT group therapy helped me get back on track! I feel more like myself, more prepared to take on what else life has in store for me!! Thank YOU Transitions Counseling and Consulting! Thank YOU Tim and Bree!
The people were great and my appointment started on time. The online intake forms could use some improvement. For example: the form asked whether I took any of a long list of psych meds. I answered no to all, but the… system acted as if I didn't answer the question. I had to add a med titled "N/A" to "escape" system jail.
My family is very appreciative of all of the help we are receiving here. 10 out of 10 recommend.
I've had 5 sessions total, including the introduction session. All of that was introduction and the counselor that I was seeing left. I'm not sure why she left however she left last week and they are telling me now 24… hours until my next appointment instead of last week when she left. So now I have no counselor, I'm in the hole $610 (my last session they double charged me) only for it all to be thrown in the trash. I'm in same mental state when I got there and now worse because I've wasted time and money to go towards nothing. Don't waste your money here and if you have insurance I would go somewhere else. This place is a scam.
This experience has strengthened our ties of love and most of all understanding. Without our walk we get together once a week my inability to deal with my deteriorating recognition of reason would have ended our… relationship… well at least made it very dark. Once you let go… most likely by bawling your eyes out!! We are never to old to find the right direction!! Thank you LL we love you!! T/J
For the past few years, Transitions Counseling and Consulting—at both the Swan and Orange Grove locations—has played such an important role in our daughter’s growth. Her therapist (Gabby) has been incredible, and I can… attest that the support she’s received there has genuinely made a huge difference in her life. That’s why this situation is so frustrating for us, because the ongoing issues with the billing department have finally reached a point where we just have had enough. The problems with billing have been constant and exhausting: we either don’t get billed for multiple sessions and then suddenly receive a large bill… or we’re overcharged, and when we contact billing, we’re told we’ll simply get the next session free as “compensation.” The wrong card has been charged. And the most troubling part was when a bill was actually sent to our daughter’s email address—an email we never provided or authorized for billing. When we asked about it, we were casually told that her email had been added as a billing contact, which is completely unacceptable. We have never requested or approved anything like that. The whole experience has been unprofessional and, frankly, incompetent. We do have the option for free counseling through our insurance with another provider, but it’s hard to even consider leaving because her therapist at Transitions has been so good to her. At $100 per session twice a month, the cost has always felt worth it for the care she receives—but dealing with this level of disorganization and disregard from the billing department has drained us.
Leslie has been a godsend. Thank you transitions
It is with deep appreciation and profound respect that I write to acknowledge the exceptional care and clinical excellence of Ms. Tamara Randall, who has served as my therapist with unwavering dedication and insight.… Throughout our ongoing therapeutic relationship, Ms. Randall has consistently demonstrated a rare blend of clinical skill, intuitive understanding, and compassionate presence that has been instrumental in my growth and healing. Ms. Randall's work with me has been rooted in a thoughtful integration of evidence-based interventions, applied with sensitivity and precision. In all ways, Ms. Randall exemplifies the highest standards of therapeutic excellence. She is a gifted clinician whose work has had a transformative impact on my well-being. I recommend her wholeheartedly and without reservation
idk man.. my fiancè was telling me all about her therapist Gabby and how great she was for her, so I decided to give this place a try because I've struggled with my mental health for so many years.. this place is truly… awful. I don't even know who I spoke with, some man. So insanely rude, and you can forget the way they handle any situation over in billing. Rude, didn't let me talk once. Don't go here.
