Myrtle Recovery Centers Inc – Oneida Reviews and Ratings
Reviews of Myrtle Recovery Centers Inc in Oneida from patients, loved ones and referring professionals are collected in this section, together with reviews gathered from around the web.
This place was horrible they didn’t wanna give me nothing for my withdrawals. They kept my medication. This is the worst rehab ever. I don’t recommend nobody to go here and then I was ready to go and they denied me my… transportation back home for 10 care because they wasn’t going to get paid for the whole month. This place is terrible. The staff was stealing the patients medication. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anybody.
I graduated from there in May of this year was my 3rd time there it took me 3 times to get it right. I've been sober every since. Samantha is absolutely the perfect counselor will go beyond her job to get things done… she is the best I love her so much if anyone needs Recovery this is the perfect place
The staff, some of them, no names be told, are THE BEST..truth be told..they are underfunded and understaffed..some of them..locked behind walls ..some of them REALLY care..Chris,Isiah,Erin..the rest are living exactly… the way we do..day be day .trying to make a difference..but its hard when you feel institutionalized ..locked behind doors..in control of nothing and having your freedom taken away..like a child. I know MOST of the people and staff mean well..but this NOT the way to run a rehab and expect folks to stay clean. It's really very sad for the staff that puts their heart and soul into it..news flash...1 in 50 people through those doors will stay clean. If you want to trigger someone and cause more anxiety and detriment, this is the place for you. Expect no real change..please. Go to a real rehab. Get out of Tennessee and away from the stigma that poor, homeless, addicted folks deserve nothing more..because insurance doesn't pay. Please check ALL the options before you go here...its uncontrolled chaos, and it's not for those who want and strive for a change in their life...no disrespect..Just truth
This place is a great place with very caring staff who go above and beyond. My case manager is Samantha. Today she helped me take care of a legal issue that has been going on for almost 20 years. She is a wonderful… caring lady. If you need help with recovery this is the place to be! Amen

I've been to 3 other inpatient substance abuse programs and I thought going to a 28 day inpatient rehab was a joke, until I gave it one more shot and man did I make a good decision,I was treated with care, concern and… compassion, all's I can say is I owe them my life,I consider Myrtle recovery My family.if you are looking to change your life and gain a life long family I strongly suggest Myrtle recovery.thank you guys and I love you.
If anybody wants to come to a rehab center come to Myrtle recovery Centers. This place has saved me. The staff is amazing and case manager Samantha is an awesome person who goes above and beyond for everyone. I love… this place and so will you!!
I am posting this review as Taylor’s mother! Taylor & I were shown compassion & professionalism From the moment that Kinsley, a representative from Myrtle Recovery in Oneida Tn called to do an intake with us to the… moment Taylor graduated their program yesterday! Bob the CEO for the center is a well seasoned kind & knowledgeable professional who truly understands addiction & mental illness! His staff including Samantha, Taylor’s case manager, nurses, & techs were more than wonderful in helping Taylor to get to where she needed to be before graduating their program.!!!!Samantha made sure that Taylor had an appropriate step down program in place before graduating her! I would rate this facility as a 10 if there were enough stars! Thank you from Taylor & her parents!!! You’re the best!!
I first met Bob, the CEO and two of his employees at an event when I started working in the mental health/substance abuse world. All 3 of them were so down to earth and just good people that I could tell wanted to make… a difference in the world. They didn’t immediately start talking business with me like other businesses do instead they wanted to get to know me and that said a lot about the company and the people who work for Myrtle. Working with Myrtle Recovery has been such a breeze. Jami in admissions is always so quick and efficient when helping the individuals I refer. I usually get a response via email or phone call within 30 mins of making a referral. They are also able to help individuals that most rehabs can’t. For example, I had a visually impaired guy that was struggling with alcohol. Myrtle recovery didn’t deny him immediately due to his disability instead they asked questions about the individual to see if they were able to help him. After finding out the gentleman was very self sufficient and just needed a little guidance they were able to admit the guy into their program and even had their therapist make groups and activities that the guy could participate in. I would and do recommend Myrtle Recovery to anyone seeking substance abuse treatment.
Myrtle recovery centers were great they gave me a fresh start and would recommend them to anyone who struggles with addiction 💯....
As a local provider in East Tennessee, I would like to say that Myrtle Recovery is a top quality program treating substance use disorders. I have referred many clients as well as followed up with many clients that have… completed this program with great success. Myrtle provides a collaborative team with caring individuals to ensure success in one’s sobriety and recovery! I could not recommend them enough and I am so thankful to have them in our community!
This is such an amazing resource to have for underserved areas in Tennessee. Mental health, substance use disorders and behavioral concerns can all be addressed and treated here. A great referral source for my practice!
Myrtle saved my life
Gosh where to begin...I was to the point I had hit rock bottom. I had been contemplating suicide. After a few days in Knox mental and behavioral I was wondering where I went from there. Do I just go back home or am I… really ready to quit. About that time a nurse said Myrtle Recovery called and left a number if your interested then through out the day several other recovery centers called and left numbers for me. So I decided to call them in order. The first place was Myrtle. I spoke to a gentleman named Bob. After talking with him I decided to go and try it. They sent a feller named Carl to pick me and another guy up to take us there. It was a good ride Carl even stopped at the store for the other guy that was with us for cigs and dip. I remember pulling in and realizing I was at the hospital, I had never been in recovery. Carl explained that Myrtle was connected to the hospital. So the first person I met there was Michael very kind and gentle soul that had been thru a program as well as Carl both of them were God sent they became a big part of my recovery. As time went on I began to feel more at ease with everyone. Shalyn was doing my intake and Jami was doing all paperwork for me to sign. Then I met with my caseworker Sam.... WOW... you need it she works her butt off to make sure you get it!! Then I began meeting the rest of the staff each and ever person on that staff made me feel like I was someone. I can name every person on the staff day and night. Next morning the groups started. That is when I 1st met the therapist Doug soon to be joined by Faith. The group was very helpful in way of knowledge and learning. You were always welcome to speak or ask questions. I believe the real magic was the face to face conversations held in Doug and Faith's office (for me anyway). These things that were done was not just because it's there job no it's much more than that it's the love and understanding, it's the groups, it's the one on one's, the compassion that is given by all the nurses, the Techs, the behind the scenes ladies that do the insurance and caseworker So with all that rambling being said.....If you are really ready for a life changing, and a real life experience then I would highly recommend Myrtle Recovery Centers. ****Remember you can't help or truly love anyone until you help and love yourself first. To ALL the staff at Myrtle.....I love and can't wait to drop in and see everyone. -Scott P.-
Great place and the staff and nurses were super helpful and nice and go above and beyond what they need to do for each client I would recommend anyone to get help there
This facility is an absolute God send.. A place of refuge from the burdens of addiction.. Overflowing solace and compassion from every staff member to each individual's needs!. I highly recommend Myrtle Recovery Centers… to all those who are struggling.. Let them help you fight this giant!.. May God bless each and eveyone!!!!
