MAAC Project – San Diego Reviews and Ratings
Reviews are where patients and families describe MAAC Project in their own terms: the welcome at admission, the counseling, the planning for life after treatment.
Reading them is a sensible step before calling the San Diego facility. Writing one, if you have been treated there, helps the families who come next.
Im trying to visit my aunt that is here and i cant even visit her because they don't allow any male visitors. All my family moved to another state and I'm the only person here for her. I wanted to make sure she’s okay… and bring her some food and let her know she not alone in her journey to getting better. Unfortunately this place doesn’t let me see her because Im a male.
The lady at the call center told my mom, who is searching for help that she is not going to succeed and my mom called me in TEARS!!!! I CALLED BACK and I wanted to speak to a manager because who is this lady to make… someone who is searching for help, feel EVEN more helpless. I asked her to speak to a manager or someone higher and she hung up on me and said I was hostile....well now I'm pissed. This lady needs to get fired!!!!! I'm sure this isn't her first complaint. Find a new job you troll
Christy is intake coordinator and turned my and is being charged with medical discrimination. She turn Amanda away for having muscular dystrophy…. THIS PLACE IS HELL !!
This program could be a good program but my experience there was not good. Granite I was only in there for 2 days but when I arrived they took my belongings said they had to freeze it which was fine but I had two brand… new bags of clothes with tags still on them when I left the program I did not receive these bags and I called them 3 4 5 times they told me my items were not there which was a lie they were contemplating on whether they should go in the freezer or not in these items did not come back with me I called them to tell them that and they stopped answering the phone on me I told them that I understand I am not coming home with my belongings but for them to do their do diligence and check everybody's stuff I'm out all of my new belongings and they stopped answering the phone and will not look at their cameras nor check with the people who check them in they stole my brand new clothes towels & wash clothes. The stuff was not cheap they were all brand name items my suggestion is to not take anything of any value into that program. And by the way yes I'm still clean.
I was a resident at Casa and really didnt focus on what needed to change in me! So i really mad things difficult for myself and the staff however they all showed me a great deal of compassion patience structure which i… wasn't used to but most of all a new way of dealing with my disease i thought if i could just have Casa change to meet my wants! Then all would be well no thats not the truth and they made sure to teach me that i was sick mind body and spirit and they promised it would get better if i could just trust the process i did what i wanted and left because i thought i knew best! Didnt take an hour and i was smoking dope agian i still can remember their firm words and all the times they said Mary dont walk out before the miracle i just didn't want to listen. Thank you to all the staff i recently completed a 90 day program and it was because it was there that my treatment began i wasn't ready. Thank God for your service to women like me who thought i was defeated i will always speak well of your soft place to land Casa De Milagros San Diego Ca Sincerely Mary Garcia
I just called this location a few minutes ago and the woman who answered the phone was the rudest person. As an employee she making the whole company look bad. She is the first person of contact people talk to. This… location need to remind their employees what customer service is.
Very intense n/a meetings on Wednesday nights at 7:15 pm , It doesn't hurt that they're my neighbors.........
