My biggest issue with this office has been the ongoing lack of care continuity. They seem to have CONSTANT clinician turnover, meaning patients frequently have their care interrupted and are forced to restart their… progress with someone new. When seeking mental health support, that kind of instability makes it really hard to build trust or make real progress. To make matters worse, whenever concerns or issues are brought up to management, the response feels surprisingly defensive rather than supportive. Instead of taking feedback constructively or working to resolve client concerns, leadership seems more focused on protecting the practice's image than listening to the people relying on their care. It ultimately feels like a high-volume environment where client satisfaction comes second. If you need a practice that truly listens and offers provider stability, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
I’m sincerely grateful I found New Leaf. From the beginning, the entire experience has felt welcoming, responsive, and accommodating. Scheduling has been easy, communication is prompt, and while there is a cancellation… fee for appointments canceled within 48 hours, I completely understand and respect it. My therapist’s time is valuable, and I think that policy is fair. I also appreciate the practical details, like having plenty of parking and the added privacy of exiting through a separate door. I was initially hesitant about working with a therapist who was younger than me, but I took a leap of faith because I knew I needed therapy and didn’t want fear to keep me from getting the help I needed. I’m so glad I did. Cassandra M, has made the process feel incredibly personalized. She is attentive, fully present, and creates a space where opening up feels natural instead of forced. I’ve worked with several therapists over the years, and my intake session with her stood out immediately. It felt warm, genuine, and conversational not scripted or robotic. If you’re looking for a therapist who truly listens, meets you where you are, and makes therapy feel like a collaborative conversation rather than an interview, I highly recommend New Leaf and Cassandra M.
I am so grateful my doctor referred me to New Leaf. Ailish was very patient and caring getting me set up and answering my questions. Carlyn has been an amazing counselor, helping me work through big issues and day to… day things. I put off getting help for a long time. Really glad I finally did. I would recommend them to anyone!
Caring
I’m glad I found this place. Jennifer Pearce has been great therapy for me! The place respect your privacy and rights.
The staff at New Leaf are always polite and understanding. I especially had a positive interaction with Dava. It’s a great place to be!
I go there and it’s amazing it’s so comfortable
I have volunteered at new leaf for almost an entire year (somewhere around 11 months) . I started because I was looking for experience in the counseling field and wanted to see what it was like before I went back to… school to be a counselor myself. The experience was everything I hoped it would be. I learned so much about the field and all the therapists were very friendly and willing to answer any questions I had about the profession. Every one of the office staff and the therapist were incredibly nice and helpful which was the main reason I decided to stay and continue volunteering with them even after I had felt I had gained the experience I was initially looking for. In terms of the volunteering, they have a wide variety of things for you to do and are very flexible with figuring out hours that work best for you. I would highly recommend anyone looking to gain some experience and learn more about the field of counseling or just wanting to help out a bit to look into volunteering at New Leaf!
I am writing to express how happy we are as a family to have used your services. I would like to focus on Lauren Madsen. She is by far the very best therapist for my transgender Autistic child that I have ever… encountered. I doubted Lauren in the beginning because my child faces so many challenges, but it impresses me some much that she never gave up and had faith. LAUREN is a true testament of loyalty and commitment and her strength and compassion is outstanding!! My child has bounced back to coming out of his room for years of staying within his four walls! He now wants to go out regularly whereas he had no interest before. There is so much that Lauren helped him with and I am forever grateful and beyond appreciative! Thank you New Leaf and thank you Lauren!!!! Pia Esposito, proud mom of Jay
A good place to get help.
New Leaf provides excellent, high-quality care for their patients. Their team practices with integrity and respect. They are always looking for ways to enhance their programs in order to best serve our community.
My family and I enjoyed working with New Leaf and Dava Muserallo. The staff is warm and welcoming and we felt comfortable talking with Dava. It isn't always easy to talk about personal life events but I've learned how… to better handle life and relationship challenges through my counseling experience here. I would highly recommend Dava and New Leaf to anyone looking for a positive therapy experience.
Counseling here has been a great experience! The office staff has been welcoming and easy to work with , and my therapist Ashley has helped me get my anxiety under control. Plus...they have a dog at the office that is… so friendly and cute! He makes me smile every time I see him for appointments.
Both my daughter and I had a wonderful experience at New Leaf. The staff are welcoming and it was a very comfortable and relaxed office. Both therapists that I had experience with there were very nice and extremely… helpful. Bonus: they had evening hours and it was very easy to work around my daughter's school schedule.
