Recovery Village – Umatilla Reviews and Ratings
Reviews of Recovery Village in Umatilla from patients, loved ones and referring professionals are collected in this section, together with reviews gathered from around the web.
My experience at Umatilla TRV was mixed, but one person who genuinely stood out to me was Chris Fields, the Financial Manager. Chris was one of the best advocates for clients that I encountered. He was patient,… understanding, and willing to actually listen and help when I had concerns. He made an effort to explain things clearly and treated me with respect, which made a real difference during a difficult time. I truly appreciate the way Chris advocates for clients and goes beyond simply doing his job. His compassion, professionalism, and willingness to help definitely deserve recognition. Overall, I’m giving my experience 4.5 stars, with Chris being a major reason for that rating.
It was one of the best rehabilitation centers that I have experienced.
Awesome place, counselors and staff are great. It was not an incarceration mentality and everyone was helpful
I started off at TRV for detox and completed all the way into php (partial hospitalization program) and the staff was nothing short of amazing. Chris my case manager was awesome, always made sure I was safe and never… failed to put a smile on my face. I also want to give a shout out to brandon (peer advocate support) , Lala (BHT), Shannon (BHT), Marla (BHT), Sherman (BHT), Damion (BHT) and Dorian (BHT) I wouldn’t of been able to make it without everyone. Thankyou TRV!!!!
I’ve benefited quite a bit from the recovery village. Classes were good. They tried to make it as comfortable as possible given the Situation
Staff and nurses were great . Loved my therapist Sharon! The facility was great upon arrival, but they are under staffed. Dave assisted all of us on activities, computers and pretty much everything ; he was wonderful… !!!The facility is packed with patients way too many at a time . Four people should never be in a room!!! Food is good. I got what I came for out of the program.
When I review a business, I'm of the belief no one is a 5 star and no one is a one star. I have been upset so much I felt like a one, but sanner heads prevailed. 🙂 I was only there for 8 days to detox. If you want to… stay for approximately a month. You could do worse. I would have to say the staff is the best part. I had no issues getting anything. The facility is HUGE! They have a nice place to jog or walk. Decent size, clean pool, ample work out area. AA and NA meetings most evenings. In Detox you have a TV in every room. A couple criticisms. The smoking area is a tiny lil afterthought of an area, and you have to wait for certain times to smoke. As you may know there is not a bunch to do in detox, it would be nice to smoke at anytime. Food was great! Be careful, you may get fat. Hope this helped! Oh, one other thing. A small group of workers that seem to get forgotten, Housekeeping crew! They came through every single day and cleaned like they care. Showers were clean and sanitary, floors swept, windows and tables all good!
From the moment I walked in I knew I would be taken care of. The staff took really good care of me and the other residents there. My needs were met, my questions were answered, and I am almost two months sober because… of their treatment.
612 Days sober as of this post. I couldn’t have done it without all the tools Recovery Village provided me. The Staff is Amazing and their commitment to aligning me with Intensive Out Patient Therapy saved my life! Much… respect and Appreciation for the entire Organization!
I don’t recommend this program. They literally kicked me out at 10:00 pm, after repeatedly threatening to kick me out. All because I refused to take the medication that was making me drowsy and causing my Blood pressure… to rise higher than normal, so that they can send me to the hospital. I am grateful that they did allow me to sit on the couch in intake, and at approximately 4:00 am Nurse Steve. Came and said in two hours the sun comes up, and you gonna have to get off that couch. I responded I know that. Even though the sun was not completely up. I proceeded to leave anyway, even though I still couldn’t see all the way. Teresa Clinical Director said to call if they tried to, and I requested that they call, they said that the Doctor is making that call and Teresa has no power. I had no help from anyone who was working the night of 7/17/26. I felt threatened by a nurse I never saw before. She came into my room while I was in bed, standing over me saying… yes you will let me take your vitals.. I said no….it was scary 😱. The control you there.
This place was great in helping my mom with her recovery and everything was going really well up until her last few days when one of the doctors decided to change her medication that was working for her, to a different… medication. Upon the medication change, my mother began hallucinating and having a horrible reaction to the meds. The only care they gave her after her medication reaction was to sending her home while she was still actively hallucinating. I don’t understand why they would change the medication that was working for her. I type this now while sitting in the hospital with my mother, getting her flushed with fluids to try to stop her incessant visual and auditory hallucinations that was caused by an unnecessary medication change. Absolutely ridiculous, cannot believe this is what has resulted from her stay.
They are very good. The way they help the my one words can't explain how proud I him thank yall so much for himself the better in his
Loved my time there. Met some really great people.
Felt like a prison don’t come here if you have a choice.
I have never in my 20 years experience working in the medically field have ever had such poor communication with sending my family member to this facility. There’s no communication, if you try to call you leave messages… at all hours and hardly ever receive a call back from staffing or their financial advisor, Christopher Fields who did not help or have any kind of affective communication. Highly don’t recommend this facility for anyone wanting good medical assistance and guidance.
Discharged me early wouldn’t let me grab my own stuff. They forgot a 300$ pair of boots, a 100$ electric razor, and a very expensive bible. When I came back for it they said “sorry can’t find it” When I call manager… extensions I never get an answer and my voicemails never lead to a call back. Terrible communication between staff members
This recovery center is hands down the best in every way possible. I recommend it to anyone that is trying to get clean. They make sure that you are given the right tools to stay on the right path. Melissa gets shit… done! Bobbie, Stephanie, Ryan, Angelina, Adam, Brian, Rockstar, all of the nurses, any BHT staff that I missed and the Nurse Practitioners! All of you are amazing and helped me get through my struggle comfortably! Love all you guys :)
The staff was very helpful and hands-on. Their living accommodation was nice. The food was good. I appreciated the pool and gym.
I’m forever grateful to the incredible medical team at Recovery Village in Umatilla. Throughout my recovery, every member of the team showed genuine compassion, kindness, and unwavering support. They consistently went… above and beyond to ensure I felt cared for, encouraged, and never alone. Their dedication made a lasting impact on my healing journey, and I will always be thankful for everything they did for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Sammy
The staff, NP’s, nurses, BHTs, Case Managers and therapists are all phenomenal. It’s a great campus and a very supportive atmosphere. The staff will go out of their way to help you any way they can if you show respect.… Highly recommend if you’re serious about your future.
Excellent and engaging groups and therapy. Great food. You only get your phone 1 hour 3 times a week at residential and PHP levels of care. Also it has the therapeutic atmosphere of county jail. It's always extremely… loud from 5am to 11pm. If you need a calmer level of recovery the recovery village is not for you.
Very clean facility! Staff was accommodating nice and actually cared! Food top notch ! All amenities were past my expectations. Therapist listen to all I need to get out couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
If your Serious about getting Sober and Staying Sober, this is who you call, you want a good Florist you call Plantation, you want good recovery you call Orlando Recovery Center.
the recovery village advocates are awesome. they walk you through every step and call and check on you. which has helped me get through this issue in my life.
So far my experience with everyone I've spoken to has been amazing. I do look forward to treatment and can't wait to start the program.
If I could leave 0 stars i would. Place was horrible and broke many hippa laws. I highly do not recommend
