The customer service at this place is awful, and the therapists are terrible too. I had an appointment with her on October 21st, and when I called to speak with her, they told me she needed to talk to me via video call.… I explained that I didn't have a computer, but they refused. With the two therapists I've had, I've always done it via my phone. I don't understand this office. It seems like they provide free services, not like your insurance pays someone to treat you. It's as if people have to beg for therapy. I don't understand how a therapist can force patients to do everything via video call. This office is terrible. The therapists never call you back when you have an appointment. I had one that lasted 13 minutes, and they told me it was time because they had another client, even though therapy sessions are supposed to be 40 minutes. This place is no good. I'm also trying to contact their medical records office, and they never answer the phone. I've been dealing with them for two months. Honestly, this place used to be worth it, but not anymore. vesta

Nice place. I mean they have big policies more like rules. They are super duper strict. Just think twice yk. They provide good care for mental health matter.

Trying to set an appointment is horrible. I called the front desk to tell them I didn’t receive the link for my appointment and she turned around and said we sent it check again but I inform I check all of my inbox and… my junk mail and I don’t see it. Instead of resending the link she hung up the phone and when I called back no answer. This is the worst if you are need of med management appt as you don’t have a direct way to email your provider directly to inform them. Front desk needs to go on a retrain for customer service.

Very rude staff

Good to know I’m not alone about the unprofessional secretarial work. I dread making appointments on the monthly basis at the point where I’ve enlisted a seasoned person to schedule appointments for me smh

Lady on the phone is very mean and disrespectful. I wasn’t able to reach anyone on the phone except for her on the “main line” and she rudely told me “how is anyone supposed to talk to you if you don’t leave a… voicemail?” I contacted them because I need to speak with someone, not to be talked to like I’m a child. I Wasn’t able to get any type of appointment and they wouldn’t accommodate a time with me which is any day before 11am which I didn’t think was an issue. Via email, no one answered my questions and kept telling me I have to check in mon- thurs 1-3pm which had a waiting list and I work during those hours. Don’t waste your time

My experience here is a godsend. The sessions provide techniques and discussion that's meaningful. I've had a positive experience.

They are racist , no professionals, they never return the call

I was with Vesta for four years when Dr Figueroa was my psychiatrist. When he left I started seeing nurse practitioner Alimatu. She has an extremely low knowledge about medication. She also for the first year of me… getting my medication’s from her didn’t say anything when I was addressing her as doctor Alimtau. I had to be told by the staff that she was not in fact a doctor and I was extremely shocked that for an entire year she never corrected me once. In my eyes that’s fraud. She did not work her tail off to become a doctor and get a PhD. I don’t even know how she was even allowed to become a nurse practitioner. I am surprised she has not severely hurt any of her patients yet. She attempted to take me off all of my medication‘s, some of which were habit forming, and put me on Seroquel. Taking me off of my medications without tapering could have caused severe withdrawal and would’ve left me in the hospital most likely with seizures. It just goes to show that ALIMATU neither cares NOR has the knowledge to be a doctor or a nurse practitioner. She will scream at you if you try to explain the situation and how you’re feeling to her. The only feelings you are allowed to have are the ones where she tells you how you have to feel. She doesn’t listen to any concerns and only cares about a paycheck. She is lazy, rude and absolutely unethical.

This place is terrible, The staff are really rude and they stopped giving people uppers and downers due to a new director being in charge. They took me off immediately off my medications without a good explanation. All… they care about is money. I’ve been going to vesta for over seven years now. It’s a waste of time and money.

I HATE THIS PLACE!!!! My son has been going there since the end of 2013 and had been under the care of Mr Leighton Kennedy. My son started seeing Mr Kennedy after many hospitalizations. He was very sick. Mr Kennedy… started seeing him once a week to monitor his medicines and finally stabilized him and was able to win him off most of his medications and my son had a complete recovery. He was able to go back to school and work a little. Unfortunately Mr Kennedy left in the summer of 2018 and my son's mental health has been getting worst. He has had many hospitalizations and is still very unstable. Now we see a DR FIGUEROA omg!!! MY WORST NIGHTMARE!!! He has been wanting to discharge my son from vesta because according to him (Dr Figueroa) they (vesta) can't help my son???!!!! OMG WTH!!! When he told us this, I got upset and was crying so I guess he felt bad and said my son "ok you are still my patient because I don't want to see your mom cry, I'm going to help you". Since that visit about 3 weeks ago, my son had another crisis and he voluntarily admitted himself to the hospital and was there for a week. He got discharged on Monday and we had an appt with this clown (DR FIGUEROA) TODAY AT 3:30PM AND HIS RECEPTIONIST CALLED ME AT 2PM TO TELL ME THAT THE DOCTOR WON'T SEE MY SON BECAUSE HE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND THAT HE HAD AGREED TO KEEP HIM AS A PATIENT AS LONG AS HE DOES NOT GO TO THE HOSPITAL???? HUH??? WTH ....MY SON IS GOOD ABOUT KNOWING HIS SYMPTOMS AND WHEN HE NEEDS TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL SO HE WENT AND NOW DR FIGUEROA REFUSES TO SEE HIM TODAY BECAUSE HE "CAN'T HELP" US !!!!! THIS DOCTOR, IF YOU CAN CALL HIM A DOCTOR, GAVE UP ON MY SON AFTER SEEING HIM 3 TIMES!!! WOW!!! I HOPE HE DOESN'T HAVE MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS IN HIS FAMILY. I DON'T WISH HIM BAD BUT HE MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH!!!!! HE HAS NO COMPASSION AT ALL !!! MR KENNEDY WE MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

If you really need help DON’T COME HERE. They have not had a psychiatrist physically in the office in over 6 months. There staff seems to up and quit very often. I have been speaking with a psychiatrist through Skype,… who stated himself he really couldn’t help me because he was not going to be working there permanently. I am currently 8 1/2 months pregnant and they have changed my therapist & psychiatrist twice within that time. You are unable to make appointments because they don’t have doctors to take you. If you need a prescription filled they act like you are a problem, and it will take days sometimes weeks for anyone to get in contact with you. After waiting for an appointment with a psychiatrist for two months, they just called me today and told me they have hired a psychiatrist and I had to come in tomorrow. I made them aware that I would not have transportation and my only option would be to walk 4 miles there and back at 8 1/2 months pregnant. I was told that did not matter and if I did not come in I would be considered a no show and be dropped from the program. Also if I wanted to reschedule I could not get an appointment until the end of March. I can not wait until then because I will run out of medication by then and that could affect my pregnancy/baby. Please go anywhere else except here so you can get the care you need and deserve. This place is short staffed and unprofessional.
