I really hope they chose a new direction
Spoke with John, the director of ExtraCare Health Services - what an amazing human! He took great care and effort in providing me with guidance and direction on how to secure optimal care for a family member whose case… is rather complex (a multidisciplinary approach of all 3 - psychologic, psychiatric, and neurologic pathways. John expressed that the ExtraCare Counselors may not be what this family member needed - and we appreciated that! He also took the time to hear my concerns and source other options for me, including a return phone call - which he didn't have to do, but did. Not everyone would do that nowadays - really impressed.
My Therapist was falling asleep during my visit. Good thing I wasn’t suicidal. Spoke to management after and they took the therapist’s side essentially saying they didn’t believe me. Goodbye.
