Harbor is amazing! The counselors are incredibly knowledgeable and truly invested in my recovery. They challenged me to grow while also providing the encouragement and tools I needed to build a healthier life. The group… sessions were meaningful, insightful, and fun. Connecting with others who understood my experiences, made me feel less alone. Overall, it is a very compassionate and supportive environment. If you’re considering treatment for yourself or a loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend Harbor!

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Harbor Wellness is. My young adult son has been in and out of rehabs for years and finally this is the first of so many that truly was a life saver for him and for me… as a parent. All the staff want the best for their clients and go above and beyond. Bryce who overseas the program is readily available. His therapist Alyssa is great at her job and truly cares. Kyle his house manager wow he treated my son like a little brother always looking out. When you go to Harbor Wellness they all treat you like family and truly want the best for their clients. Hats off also to the director, Liz. I highly recommend Harbor Wellness and have been so grateful we found them!

As of today 5/8, I am updating this review to reflect that Harbor Wellness and Recovery Center addressed many of the concerns I originally raised. When my wife was in treatment, our experience was extremely difficult,… and at the time I felt strongly that aspects of her care, communication, and overall handling of the situation caused additional emotional stress during an already vulnerable period for our family. I was especially frustrated by what I believed was a lack of accountability in the aftermath. Since posting my original review, Harbor Wellness has taken steps to communicate with us directly, listen to our concerns, and work toward resolving the issues we experienced. While I still believe our initial experience could have been handled differently, I appreciate the effort they have since made to address the situation in a more compassionate and professional manner. Because of those efforts, I felt it was important to update this review to reflect a more balanced and positive perspective.

When I was receiving treatment, I had a difficult experience and… felt that aspects of my care did not meet the level of support and professionalism I expected during recovery. At the time, I regretted placing my trust in the program and felt strongly that others should proceed with caution. Since then, Harbor Wellness has made an effort to listen to my concerns, communicate with me directly, and work toward addressing the issues I experienced. While I still believe certain parts of my experience could have been handled differently, I appreciate the steps that have since been taken to show greater accountability and compassion.

This place literally saved my life, after 9 rehabs this was the one that actually made me change. Literally every single staff member showed concern and gave me crucial advice that I needed to hear to better myself and… finally stay sober. These people genuinely care, please go here becuase you will be pleasantly surprised at the treatment they provide. I have 13 months sober now all thanks to this place 🥹

This place saved my life! It’s the only place I’ve come to trust in my struggle with addiction and the ability to build a life around recovery. This transition can be a difficult and vulnerable time, yet was solely… facilitated by the environment, counseling, and support from everyone involved at the Harbor Wellness Center. I am truly grateful for this place!

Harbor wellness is the "Crème de la crème" of outpatient treatment. The staff is not only extremely knowledgeable when it comes to mental health and addiction treatment but also very down to earth. They truly go out of… their way on a daily basis to ensure you feel cared for in a way that I've never experienced. Now my assigned counselor Alyssa has truly been an extremely positive force in my recovery she's helped me through my worst traumas and walked me through how to overcome them. The thing is at harbor every counselor has something to offer you even if you aren't on their caseload they are all so eager to help in anyway they can. Dan for example is the go to guy for any and all court or legal help you may be facing he will do whatever he can to advocate for you. Caitlin's door is always open to anyone needing to talk and if youre having medicaid or insurance trouble she's the person with the knowledgeable and expertise to assist you however she can. Then you have Liz who is essentially the Don of all the counselors. She oversees all the day to day operations and will truly do anything in her power to help you. If you or a loved one are looking for a program you can truly excel in then harbor wellness is the program for you!

This is singlehandedly the greatest IOP I've ever had the privilege of being a client of. The staff is constantly challenging me in a positive way to be my absolute best self. My counselor Alyssa is one of the most… professional, empathetic, and hardworking clinicians I've ever experienced. I dont feel like just another number here like many other IOPs and Alyssa goes out of her way to ensure that my needs as an individual are met and then some. Thank you harbor wellness

Walking through those doors, I was at a point where I honestly didn’t recognize myself… anymore. I felt stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure if real change was even possible. But from the very beginning, I was met with compassion, understanding, and a level of care that went far beyond anything I expected. My counselor, Dan, has been nothing short of life-changing. He didn’t just help me get sober—he helped me understand myself. He challenged me in the moments I needed it most, supported me when I felt like giving up, and always reminded me that I was capable of becoming more than the version of myself I walked in with. Because of Dan and Harbor Wellness, I’ve been able to rebuild my life in ways I never thought possible. I’ve become a better father—more present, more patient, and more loving. I’ve become a better husband—more understanding, more accountable, and more committed. And most importantly, I’ve become a better person—someone I can finally look at with pride. Sobriety is a huge part of my journey, but what I’ve gained here goes so much deeper than that. I’ve found clarity, strength, and a sense of purpose that I didn’t think I deserved before. If you’re struggling, if you feel lost, or if you’re questioning whether change is even possible—I can tell you from experience that it is. They’ve all been there for me in different ways, and it really shows how strong and supportive the entire team is. Jess, even though she’s newer, fits right in with the Harbor Wellness family—I connected with her right away. Going to Harbor truly feels like a home away from home. It’s a real community where people lift each other up, and it’s a place filled with safety, comfort, and genuine care. I have to say out of all the programs I’ve ever been to Harbor wellness is by far the best choice I’ve ever made. The counselors are very professional, friendly, and understanding. but just like any other program, the… results you get come from the work you put in. i’m currently one year and three months sober thanks to this program. Sky is the limit it can be for you too.🙏

Honestly there isn’t enough good things I can say about this facility. From the moment I walked in the door I felt welcome. It’s an atmosphere where you real recover can happen. Bryce, Caitlin, Alyssa, Liz and Dan are… an amazing team that make new beginnings feel possible

There is one person I deeply regret not mentioning originally, and I want to correct that now. Alyssa is one of the most gentle, compassionate, and genuinely caring people I have ever met, while also being strong and firm when it truly matters. She has an incredible ability to make people feel safe, heard, and respected, while still holding accountability with kindness and grace. Her presence had a profound impact on my healing and absolutely deserves recognition. I would also like to recognize Brianna and Fran, the interns. Even early in their careers, their empathy, dedication, and genuine care are undeniable. They show up with humility, open hearts, and deep respect for the vulnerability that recovery requires. Their presence adds to the warmth, support, and hope that Harbor is known for. Each person here saw something in me I couldn’t yet see in myself. They challenged me, supported me, and ultimately helped me rediscover who I truly am underneath the weight of addiction. Harbor Wellness & Recovery is more than a treatment center—it’s a sanctuary for healing, a launchpad for transformation, and for me, it was a lifeline. I owe my second chance at life to this place and the incredible people who walk its halls with purpose and passion. If you or someone you love is struggling, please don’t hesitate. This place has saved my family members life, before here they tried so many facilities, none worked for them & this one saved their life. Since attending they have done a whole 360 with their entire life. Couldn’t have… asked for a better program to save my family members life.

So shady on how they kick you out for just having a feeling when asked. Do not trust them. If you have legal involvement stay clear.

I do not recommend this center for those with a young family. The support, experience, and connection to others with young families seriously lacks. Privacy is a concern as well, such as sitting in on private phone… calls without knowledge and sharing family information without spoken or written permission. Seek a better place if you’re part of a family with school aged children.
