Windham Falls Recovery LLC – West Kill

Britelife is my first and only experience with an inpatient program so I have nothing to compare it with. My stay was pleasent I learned alot off things about myself .the nursing staff were wonderful ,kind and… compassionate.Most of the BHT's were kind andasdisted as much as they could within reason. The counselor Mr. Ed got me to think about alot of things I didn"t realize I had kept buried deep down inside of me. The group facilitators were great made the groups think and come to some realizations. Now I really didn't like the phone protacall and how we weren't allowed to use phones untill after a certain time and had to request phone time with other providers as if we were on punishment.,and 10 miniute time slots. The food was absolutley delicious , the staff tried to be accomadating with in reason I learned alot about nature and the great outdoors . I would recomend Brie Life however I'm still not sure about the help you may receive after your discharge ,I've only been home for 4 days .

Although I did not go here, I almost did. The intake staff are amazing people who truly care about future clients. So much so that they messaged me to see how I was feeling after-hours the night before I was scheduled… to come. The grounds look beautiful from the pictures. It's def the program I wish that I attended but just cant during peak season of my businesses. Thank you for giving me a chance even though I didnt take it. Hopefully I'll never need to attend but if I do, just wanted to give a shout out to Frank and Angie for keeping up on me.

No one is excited to go to rehab for 30 days, giving up a month of your life. I must say this has been an exceptional experience. I have learned about my addiction and how to control my addiction. All of the staff went… out of their way to make sure the clients were comfortable and most importantly supported. They are no nonsense with counseling and therapy literally from morning till night. I have learned so much packed in 30 days, it is life-changing. Every single staff member from the therapists, counselors, case managers, nursing, behavioral health technicians, the housekeepers, and the kitchen staff were absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Britelife...... The name says it all..... There is light at the end of the tunnel.... And hope for a brighter future. They equip you with the tools so you can shine bright and awakened from the darkness!

I had the pleasure of starting my recovery journey at Brite Life. The area was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt seen and heard. The staff (kitchen, housekeeping,… nursing, bht and counselors) are top notch and would take the time to just set and if needed talk with me. Much love to all.

This place saved my life. If you’re looking at reviews for this place, deciding if you want to go or not, just do it. Go get help, you deserve it. You won’t find a better facility or a staff who cares more. I went last… year for detox because I thought I didn’t need a full 30-day treatment. I ended up back there this spring and staying for the full experience was the best decision I’ve ever made. The facility is nice and clean, the food is amazing, I was extremely comfortable and I actually ended up having a lot of fun. We went on hikes, we had pizza parties and movie nights, there’s a gym and a fire pit, lots of smoke breaks. I’m making it sound like a vacation, but truly the work I got to do on myself here was life-changing. The counselors here are incredibly compassionate and compelling. I learned a lot about myself and my disease. I got to dig up things from my past and begin the healing process. I’ve been out for about a week now, and I’m being kinder to myself, I have more patience, I am generally more peaceful and less anxious. I seriously can’t recommend this place enough. I’ve met other people who went through Britelife, and they’ve all said the same thing, “something was different this time.” My recovery process is still in early-days, but I have so many helpful tools and resources. My case manager set me up with a therapist and IOP. The team there calls to check up on me. I feel lucky to have experienced this place and the people who work there. Shout out to the nurses and the BHT’s too.

Counselors were great bht’s were awesome all around great place learned a lot about myself and why I am the way I am and how to better myself my therapist and case worker were amazing and went above and beyond to help… me with anything I needed glad to be part of the group I was in and look forward to the alumni events I will definetly be attending as much as possible if you need help do yourself a favor and make this the place you choose you won’t regret it I know I don’t

Britelife NY was a great experience the Bht’s George, Alfonso, Josh, Sabrina, Kayla, Sarah, Ella, Scott, Nick, Derrick, Jason, Mike are kind and excellent people Nurses Melissa, Stephanie, Mary, Julia, Julie, Cressa,… Danyl, Nicole, Jenny and Matt were very helpful Clinicians Amy, Kris, Treytan, Richard, Ed, Isabella, Samantha, Lorraine and Ted are knowledgeable and extremely helpful Courtney the case manager was on top of anything I needed and available to me. Overall the people that work there care and are a tremendous benefit to the facility This includes all the maintenance and housekeeping staff as well as the chefs.

Staff and clients are great food is better then others

These guys are seriously amazing, the nurses are great the staff is great, food is good, probably the best place to detox in all of the east coast. Loved every moment of recovery here, thank you for the easy and… painless detox you guys were nothing but amazing.

I had the chance to meet some amazing people and the counselors and BHTs are world class. The staff genuinely care about you and your recovery and will go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The basics alone—food, accommodations, and surroundings—are far beyond standard, but what truly sets… BriteLife apart is the people. The therapeutic staff, from BHTs and nursing to primary therapists, demonstrate an exceptional level of care, professionalism, and genuine commitment to each person’s well-being. Even when I left early against advice due to family circumstances, I was met with nothing but compassion and support. The staff sent me off with a bag filled with hope, practical tools, and heartfelt encouragement—and that same evening, they reached out to help coordinate aftercare. BriteLife is extremely dedicated to the client experience in the beginning stages of recovery. With a more nature and therapy based treatment plan, one begins to learn sober coping techniques and new hobbies while… there. The kitchen staff is superb and will make things to specifications and satisfactions. One of the best parts is the camaraderie one gets with the counselors, staff and peers. The nightly bonfires are especially superb in this arena.

Having worked in the drug & alcohol field for 15 years and being in treatment for my own healing, it is fair to say I have knowledge of what good and not so good treatment looks like. Britelife is located on a beautiful… mountain side. The weekend adventure recovery groups, helped to heal my soul. The amentities were especially clean and comfortable. From the medical staff to housekeepers, everyone was welcoming & kind. HUGE thank you to my therapsit, Isabella, who made me feel safe enough to be vulnerable and find hope where there was hopelessness. With her help, I was able to confront my guilt and shame and not let it define me as a person. Josh and Samantha, Behavioral Health Technicians, made me feel human and worthy in the darkest time of my life. Clinical programing was informative and engaging. I will say holistic services are minimal unless you pay for those. I would have liked to have mediation offered. 12 steps are definitely a key part of the program, for me, it helped. Thank you Britelife for helping me get back to the wife, mom, sister and daughter I once was. Forever grateful!

I have been to numerous rehabs in my life. I found myself at BriteLife in New York recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. I found staff was very helpful from Behavioral Health Techs to the Counselors, as well as many… others who work there. The Nature Therapy was something new for me and I did enjoy that aspect of BriteLife. Counselors and others were knowledgeable in different types of recovery and rooms of AA or NA. I left feeling ready to be sober again. When I got there, I wasn't planning on staying sober. The community and clinical team helped me change that perspective and enjoy being sober again. Thank you BriteLife !!!

Thank you BriteLife! This facility was not only beautiful but the staff are all amazing! This program really helped me in my sobriety journey & also set me up for success after completing their program!!

This was by far the best recovery program I have attended. So, I was nervous at first, pulling into the parking lot I was met by a few of the staff and Nurses❤️. They did my intake which took about 2 hours in total,… which is pretty fast, and took me to sort through my clothes and then up to my room. My own room! With a boudoir and it's own, beautiful bathroom. It was like a 5-star hotel and resort. The shower head in the bathroom rains on you from above, how lovely is that?. Okay, so onto the rules, basically be nice, attend all groups, and you may smoke cigarettes 6 times a day. Pretty great groups, especially if you had a group of people like I did. We got close, fast; and I still speak to most of the people I met in treatment, we formed a sort of sober support group with each other! 😌. Now that isn't everything, there's 5-star chefs making 5-star meals at every meal for you.. And! And on Fridays and Saturdays they partner with a company called Adventure Recovery, who are great people, who take you on hikes up the mountain and out to different waterfalls and walks! It is truly a beautiful place. But the best thing of all about BriteLife Recovery in West Kill, NY. Is the PEOPLE. The BHT's that watch over you teach you so much about recovery, maybe even more than the counselor's.. and my personal favorites were the Medical staff ⚕️ (my nurses) 😳. And I just want to give a final shout out to the ones who made my recovery possible this time, and at BriteLife. My Aunt BB, Uncle Ray, and the woman herself, LC Demers ❤️😌💪🏼 Get there and get better!

I cannot say enough about Britelife. I dropped my friend off there last month. I was blown away by the beauty and serenity of the facility. The staff was so kind and welcoming when we arrived, and I knew she was in good… hands. I just drove that same friend home yesterday. She had such an incredible experience. I believe she was given the tools and therapy to succeed in her sobriety journey. She said her goal was to go back there and speak at a meeting which warmed my heart!

My experience at Britelife was surreal, Britelife brought nature to my recovery and truly opened my eyes to how that can help me heal as well benefit me in the future. The staff were some of the coolest people, they… were very knowledgeable, the group sessions they offered were eye opening and gave me some really great coping skills for the future. They truly cared about my well being during my stay there as well as my aftercare since I left there. I went in that place angry and they worked with me to redirect my perspective, I believe I’m a different man today. I am forever grateful to the staff at Britelife for everything they did for me in my short stay.
