That people are amazing gunna miss bryan David and the woman with the story about her mom and the people I met in the program
Wilson Hall and the entire staff are absolute angels on earth! If anyone has negative things to say about the staff or facilities their probably fighting themselves over getting sober and allowing the process to work. I… am so not perfect or the "pillar of the community" but as the House Coordinator (for both extended stays) I saw miracles happen on a daily!! Mr Montgomery treated me like I was his son and family. They care about my fellow veterans struggling and are always there to answer a question or give you clarity on a thought or emotion. I love the staff and facility and own them more than any about of money can replace that! Need more of these facilities. Chuck D
I graduated from here I swear I thought I was going to fail but one I gave up and put in all the effort it was easy
They save lives.. There job is hard but they care about you and are there to help you get better.
The staff of Wilson Hall are caring, and professional. From Director, to Counselors, to Kitchen Staff. Many of the staff are in recovery and completely understands the struggles of overcoming addiction. If you want to… start living a clean and sober life, Wilson Hall is where you need to go.
There are quite a few negative reveres on here and in reality they do not accurately describe the facility. First off the staff is amazing, 90% of them are in recovery, so they understand the issues of early sobriety.… People are not asked to leave treatment because they just pull names out of hats but because they continue to repeat the same actions over and over again, even after being told about the actions. Everything that happens here is based on your behavior Like with ANY treatment center the stats are low because you aren't done until you're done. Another issue that is ignored is the face that the facility holds sixty men and that is quite a few to deal with. Another great thing about this facility is you are actively encouraged to work steps while you are here. Wilson hall also helps build life skills, the residents help with the cooking and cleaning. The small group sessions are where this place really shines because it creates an environment of trust and compassion with the other men. All in all Wilson hall is a one of a kind treatment center, almost like a recovery boot camp! There is a man named Arnold Montgomery who is so incredibly full of wisdom and anyone who gets a chance to cross his path should be lucky.
I've seen many success stories come through Wilson Hall, and have heard good things from former clients. It's a good place to build a foundation for sobriety. I'd like to address the young lady who's partner was asked… to leave for the following reasons: "1.)EATING CHIPS OUTSIDE A DESIGNATED AREA." "2.) HAVING SOMEONE PASS HIM A CIGARETTE." 3.) NOT BEING OPEN ENOUGH IN GROUP SESSIONS" The first two seem to be the inability to follow simple guidelines. *Most places have designated areas to eat, generally not in their rooms. It's a sanitation issue. *Borrowing cigarettes and money is prohibited at most facilities. *As far as not being ''open enough' during group sessions, I obviously don't know how much a person should share, but I know that the program requires participation, a willingness to be open, and honest. Recovery requires this. I hope that the young man found a recovery program that works for him.
A friend of mine had all his important stuff and birth certificate stolen here
I say this place should get 10 stars. It works if you work it.
I don't even want to give them one star. I am DISGUSTED by this facility. My significant other was kicked out of this facility NOT EVEN BEING THERE A WEEK!!! Their reasons were: 1.)EATING CHIPS OUTSIDE A DESIGNATED… AREA. 2.) HAVING SOMEONE PASS HIM A CIGARETTE. 3.) NOT BEING OPEN ENOUGH IN GROUP SESSIONS. I am pregnant with this man's child. HE WAS NOT THERE ON COURT ORDER! He went in ON HIS OWN to seek help. I understand a facility such as this needing rules. But how about instead of kicking people out over PETTY issues that can be resolved DO YOUR JOBS AND HELP THESE PEOPLE GET BETTER! Your "facility" is not a prison. You are there to HELP these people in their treatment. I walked in to drop off his belongings and was appouled and EXTREAMLY uncomfortable at how I was treated by their staff. If you do your research, Wilson Halls reviews are terrible. Go to their actual website AND THESE PEOPLE FEEL THE NEED TO JUSTIFY THEIR POOR REVIEWS. If you are seeking REAL TREATMENT for yourself or a loved one, DO NOT GO TO WILSON HALL!
