MedMark Treatment Centers – Fort Worth Detox and Rehab Services

MedMark Treatment Centers – Fort Worth appears on the register for intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

The 5 star rating review is for the nursing staff Alisha, Tamra, Chery and Leslie; with out these awesome amazing wonderful nurses this clinic would cease to exist. These nurses work so hard and truly care about the… disease of addiction and recovery. The personalities the nurses have is what makes coming to medmark so great. The level of professionalism and compassion the nurses have is 2nd to none. I admire and appreciate these nurses so much ☝🏻☝🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. The second part to my 5 star review is for the absolutely amazing chemical dependency counselors that work here day in and day out with some having over 40 or more clients on there caseload, these counselors; Myrtle, Ken, among others work so hard to advocate for you as a patient on this program. The first person you'll meet upon entering Medmark clinic is front office manager Mrs. Phyllis who has worked for Medmark for nearly 10 years, Mrs. Phyllis will absolutely make your day and have you smiling 😃. Mrs. Gwen who is the clinic financial officer who oversees patients bills is a fine individual as well and cares that the patients are receiving the best possible care while at the clinic. You will absolutely love and appreciate our clinic medical director ( Dr. Kurz ) Dr. Kurz has so much medical knowledge and true compassion for everyone of Medmark's clients, she has a deep genuine concern for each of us and I am so thankful to have Dr. Kurz here at Fort Worth Medmark. This clinic and program has saved my life; yes there can be some fear and apprehension about Methadone; but when compared to the alternative drugging life style; Methadone by all means returns you to a normal working citizen back in society, no more of days on end of chasing drugs and wondering where to get your next fix or how to pay for that fix; those days come to an end and stop the day you decide you've had enough of the drug seeking lifestyle that we we're all living. I've been with this clinic ever since Medmark took over ownership in May of 2011. I've seen my share of clinic directors come and go at Medmark, there's been some awesome directors in my time, but my one ⭐️ Review for the end of this review is for the unprofessional unethical clinic director we now have who's name is Sharron; Mrs. Sharron is by far the worst clinical treatment director Medmark has had in my 15 years at this clinic. The directors ways of treating both staff and clients is so poorly that i wouldn't treat a dog that way. Don't get me wrong; Medmark is a great clinic; it's just corporate Medmark needs to seriously hire a new treatment director who will work together building the employees up as well as the clients. When a treatment center has a director who spends her day; ( that is when she is there ) in a closed office and does not get to know the patients who provide Mrs. Sharron a paycheck and works overtime to breakdown her staff and employees and bring division between staff clients and herself; THEN IT'S HELL TIME FOR MEDMARK TO GET A NEW DIRECTOR. since this director has been here; Medmark Fort Worth has gone down hill !!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. Mrs. Sharron has caused more amazing counselors to leave Medmark for other treatment places, she has also caused so many clients to leave and find other treatment programs !! 🤬🤬🤬. My pray and hope is that the Medmark powers to be will see this and investigate and terminate Mrs. Sharron from her director position AS SOON AS POSSIBLE !!

I would have rather remained anonymous, but I must give credit where credit is due. First of all I want to express how thankful and happy I was to see my former Director Miss Tina at Medmark from the Crossroads clinic I… used to attend! She was magnificent and actually got things done! I had a problem yesterday and she went completely out of her way to resolve it for me. Just like she always did back in the day. I always remembered her for being so kind, actually listening to all of us and was never too busy to talk to me or help me with anything I needed. I try not to be fussy and needy, but sometimes there are things that a person needs and I know I can always count on her to fix whatever problem I have. I know that Medmark has been short staffed for the last few months, losing counselors which seems to happen a lot. I sure hope Miss Tina doesn’t leave because she makes it feel like home, and a safe place to be. I know she was super busy when I met with her and honestly I have no clue how she is able to keep up with all of that. People blowing up her office phone left and right knocking on the door multiple times during a session even just a 10 or 15 minute session it was sort of hard to do because everyone seems to need her so much every other minute I just don’t know how she does it! I know she’s not the one in charge but she’s the presence in that place and thank God she is because she makes it function somehow. She was able to help me and resolve my issue but just a piece of advice to the powers that be, maybe stop overloading people like that or give some type of support because just being in her office trying to communicate with her was difficult with everyone coming at her every 2 minutes and at the same time too! She’s always been a strong presence at my former clinic but it was smaller and much more strict so people couldn’t just barge in or interrupt every other syllable which was very annoying. No fault of her own because I can tell she and the other counselors I’ve talked to are doing their best, Miss Tina especially because she is literally busting her bottom and it’s very apparent. I’ve tried to meet the director a few times but haven’t been able to catch her between the hours of 5-10AM. Or at the front desk they say she’s not going to be in for the day. This happens a lot too. Every week multiple times and I can feel the energy in that place which is highly stressful. Theres no leadership no presence of leadership and they need a director who is going to be there every day when the place opens. The only leadership thee appears to be is Ms. Cherry, she’s pretty vocal. Miss Tina too, but she’s usually swamped and running around doing all kinds of things it looks super stressful and I just hope she and Miss Gwendolyn, Miss Phyllis and Miss Tina don’t get run off because they are always doing their most but there should be a director there who is present at all times. I’m just glad that I ran into Miss Tina because I remember what a great director she was at Crossroads clinic and I just want to make sure she stays because she really did turn that clinic into a stellar place to attend each day! Great to see a familiar face and a couple of other people who also came from there had told me that she was at Medmark and I got so excited I couldn’t wait to see her again! I know that if I have a problem it will get resolved as long as she’s in charge and will take care of it. Please don’t run these 3 ladies off! They work the hardest I’ve ever seen and it would be a real shame if they left. But I’ll go wherever they go and so will a bunch of others who have talked. It went from being a horrible place 4 months ago to starting to turn big corner and feeling better with much better vibes now that we have her. Thank you Medmark for picking one of the best directors I’ve ever had and lucky to have her there! Thank you Miss Tina for helping me yesterday and for everything you’ve solved for me in the past. You’re the greatest and I’m so happy to have you there. Feels much safer overall! Good job Medmark!

Whoa things been changing lately for the better it looks like!! Such good energy in there now, good friendly vibes. Doesn’t feel like a line assembly or that they don’t care. They’re even offering group counseling now… which I think is really great!! I can tell since they got that new director lady with the cool dreads I think her name Sharin. Sadd to hear bout Miss Jacqui but she is in a better place. They got another girl to replace Miss Jacqui rest in peace Miss Jacqui. But so far this new supervisor seem really attentive and as though she really listenin. I hear a couple more counselors leavin but honestly they gotta get on. It’s already gotten better n I think it will keep on. Just takes time sometime. So far I’m impressed 5 stars big improvement

I live like 5 min from Brentwood and drive all the way to Medmark everyday bc this clinic by far has the best staff. They work with you in every way possible and I truly consider the nurses and staff like an extended… family. From the most sweetest and caring nurses like Tamara and Alicia to Phyllis at the front desk. I will admit there was a trying period but change in directors has made all the difference. The director is by far the best I’ve encountered in all my years here and the clinics state is the best in all the treatment centers I’ve been to across the board!

I gave Medmark five stars, because of my wonderful counselor Myrtle. She's had my back from the beginning and is a wonderful person to talk to. I've had my share of up and downs here and I'm glad they finally got a… great director whose not for all the Bullshit.

Coming to medmark you must in now the counselor you are set up with will have an impact on your recovery. I have been paired with 4 different counselors since starting my tratment and the first one was definitely not a… match for me then I was given another and she was a little better, but the I was taken from her and given another one because she was new and she needed patients & I actually really liked her she was genuine and really cared but she ended up getting a new Job so I finally met the Best counselor Miss Aquilla when I got Miss Aquilla I can say thats when true Changes started happening in my recovery. God she has one of the best personalities and her spirit is so pure and bright. When I started opening up to Aquilla I finally felt like someone actually understood me & what I was feeling and going through & her advice really meant something to me. So I really started to listen to her and the tools she was giving to continue my recovery. Aquilla also has connected with all 4 of my children she always checks on them & makes sure they are doing ok. My older children have really opened some walls they had up because she genuinely speaks to them because she cares and they know that! We look foward to medmark because of her! She is truly dedicated to her job and goes above & beyond for her patients! She truly cares about people. We need more people like Aquilla in this World.! It's hard to get me to laugh but she always knows how to get me to laugh when I see her! All I can say is my counselor has truly encouraged me to be better and do better in my recovery and because of her and the way she has truly cared I am better! Please give her a raise Medmark!! She deserves more than these 5 stars!! God Bless you Miss Aquilla!!

I’ve been a patient at MedMark for years to maintain my sobriety. They’ve never a long wait and I’m usually in and out within 10 minutes, maybe 20 tops! At the previous place I went to I felt very judged and I was… treated like a criminal just because I made some bad decisions. Thank goodness for the people at MedMark that treat me with respect! I’m extremely happy with the nurses. They are great and very helpful. They always treat me with respect and are willing to help. The UA Nurse, Cherry, is my favorite! She is always on her A game and CRACKS me up with her no nonsense personality and the lady at the front, Phyllis, checking me in is ALWAYS POLITE and I am THANKFUL for this crew! This is the best place to go to get clean and sober and for getting and KEEPING your life together! IT WORKS!!!

I've been a patient at Medmark for about 3 years. When I first started there was a bit of an adjustment period and I know the clinic went through a lot of changes as well. Within the last year, things have improved… exponentially. I have had several counselors during my journey, some great and some not so great but, my current counselor Aquilla, is amazing. She is so supportive and encouraging. I genuinely look forward to when we meet because she has been such an important part of my journey. I'm stable on my dose, I work an amazing full time job that I love, and my family and friends are able to depend on me and I have Aquilla to thank for that. I don't think I would be where I am now if it wasn't for her support and encouragement. I dont know if requesting counselors is possible but, if it is, ask for Aquilla. Every sucess feels like she is celebrating with me. Things haven't always been perfect during my time at the clinic but I can say if you do what your supposed to and really want to recover, Aquila and the other staff will help you meet your goals and achieve success. Ms. Phyllis at the front, Ms. Cherry and the nurses are all amazing as well. I'm pretty much in and out and I genuinely look forward to seeing each of them when i come in. The new Dr. has been nothing but kind, supportive, and compassionate as well. Everyone there wants to see the patients succeed and, if you want it for yourself, they will do whatever they can to help you make it happen. I really can't say enough good things and I'm so grateful to Medmark and everyone there for helping me be the best version of myself.

All methadone clinics are NOT the same. I’ve been taking methadone for a long time now; and have been in multiple clinics. If you are wondering if you should try it; my advice to you : ABSOLUTELY. Methadone has saved my… life and made it possible for me to actually keep a job, pay my bills and have much healthier relationships. The one thing I would advise you on is: going to the RIGHT clinic is crucial. You don’t just “dose” at the clinics - there is a counseling component that comes with it ; and many new patients severely underestimate this side to it. And I believe that happens because many of the counselors are mediocre at best. I think they start out with good intentions; and many of them just become burned out. Addicts are a high maintenance group to say the least lol; combine that with huge workloads and long hours ; and you get energy-drained and apathetic counselors. Over my 5 years in treatment I have only found a handful of counselors that rise above it all ; and have contributed immensely to my sustained sobriety . At this McCart clinic I have been blessed with a patient , compassionate and wise counselor that has literally helped me in every aspect of my new life. We don’t just talk about things concerning treatment ; instead he helps me reconcile my sobriety with the new life that being clean has afforded me. I can not tell you how much this has helped me along the way ; he understands that getting sober is important; but that’s just STEP ONE in rebuilding my life (I had always thought that just being sober would fix my life completely- when it didn’t work that way; I would use that disappointment as a relapse tool) my counselor’s name is AC. I have no idea if you can request counselors when you start treatment; but if you can ( or if by luck he is assigned to you) I am here to tell you that your recovery will go smoother and your chance of success will be higher if you have a system of support that can offer you wisdom- or just sometimes help you to see a silver lining in events that you didn’t recognize- Counseling is only one hour a month - but it’s honestly my most productive hour in that 30 day cycle. If you’re reading this - you CAN do this. Good luck and God bless
