Richmond VA Clinic – Richmond Detox and Rehab Services

Richmond VA Clinic – Richmond appears on the register for detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Medical supervision covers the withdrawal period, where alcohol and benzodiazepines carry real risk. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Richmond VA Clinic – Richmond Address, Location and Contact Information

The facility address is 22001 Southwest Freeway, Richmond, Texas, 77469. This address falls in Fort Bend County. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.

Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

Had appointment at 8:30 for eye exam. Showed up at 8:15 . Waited about a hour while other people got their EYE exam done( I overheard them) they get sent to room 215 for glasses. At 915 I asked what’s the update they… forgot to check me in back at 8:15. Finally at 9:45 I’m called in takes 5 min then I told front desk lady appointment done and to get my glasses . She tells me he is not there. What kind of bull is this. After already waiting long enough for the appointment as is and waiting over a month for it now I need to go back which is another 45 min drive from home to get glasses fitted on. This is why I hate coming to the doctors takes a whole day for one appointment or multiple days for one simple thing that takes 30 min.

Quality of care at this clinic has gone down in the last 2 years since I started visiting there. Staff are not motivated and there appears to be serious morale issue. One staff member asked me if I have private care… because I raised a concern. Facility administrator needs to be ashamed that our veterans are treated like this.

I’ve had a terrible experience at this VA. I never imagined the care would be so poor. My primary care physician, Nguyen, was often absent from the office. When he wasn’t there, others had to take on his… responsibilities. For instance, when I needed medication from him, he wasn’t available, and another physician had to write the script for me. When it came time for a refill, he refused to fill it because he “didn’t prescribe it.” This left me, the veteran in need of care, at a disadvantage as always. I had to contact the patient advocate multiple times about this clinic. There’s also a male nurse here who can barely speak English, making it difficult to understand him. This place deserves a single star. One step above accepting death is the VA.

I set an appointment, they remind me of my appointment, I show up and they see me right away. I love this Clinic and the staff.

Doesn’t make sense for them to tell you over the phone that they do labs for Tomball. Only to get here to wait about 30min to be called back only for them to say “oh I’m sorry we don’t do Tomball labs”. Smfh this shit… got my mad I could’ve just went to my initial appointment in Tomball instead of waiting for this bs. Some shit just get old. Please do better and don’t have ppl just dry sitting and waiting or even better keep everyone on the same page information wise.

Dont go fellow Vets , take an extra few miles on your trip to sugarland or houston va. Front desk woker ladies have bad attitudes and talk as if you have no sense to rush you away from window to chat with one another… overall a sense of "This a paycheck" and not actually wanting to be there.

Went in a couple years ago. 3 employees sitting at front. Not 1 would raise their head and even acknowledge us as humans. TRUMP...Please shut down this terrible tax drain va. Just give the vet a card for blue cross or… something. Going back today and see what kind of greeting is given now. Will up date tonight.

Recently seemed impossible to get someone on the line. Put on hold twice today & agent hung up on me when reconnecting. Also, not sure whether Dr. Zechariah is overworked or inept.

I was disappointed by the quality of care and professionalism observed during my visit. I noted deficiencies in staff communication and a concerning lack of clarity regarding clinical knowledge from both the nurses and… providers."

They need to remanded this place always such a negative experience and when you sick on top of it...they need to fire everyone and start fresh!!! Brenda Williams doing us disabled veterans a great job!!! Couldn't figure… out why Sugarland Clinic have been neglecting my husband, no Dr. Assign to his case!!! In 2014 he weighed 210=today he weighs 100lbs. HE IS VANISHING RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME AND SUGARLAND VA HAS NO CONCERN. HE NEEDS IMMEDIATE CARE!!!!

A few months ago I went into Anaphylactic shock; we rushed to this hospital and man! From the front desk clerk to the doctor himself- the entire staff were quick, professional and overall just awesome! They calmed me… down, helped me right away and were overall just nice. I love that entire staff, they saved my life. To any of the staff that reads this-- if no one told y'all how much they appreciate you then just know that this 1 human soul does. Thank you again

I went in to give blood prior to my appointment and was in and out rather quickly. Went in a week later for my afternoon Doctor appointment and was in and out within an hour. Dr Chandy was very thorough and friendy, as… was the staff. I was quite surprised given the 3.5 reviews I read previous to my appointment, however, I don't like to assume anything without experiencing it for myself. The only thing I didn't like was waiting over a month for my appointment, but to be fair, I've also had very long wait times in the private sector, some close to two months.

Called to get help with adverse side effects from medication that was prescribed and was told to leave a message. 2 weeks later still no call back. When I called in today the same Dr is unavailable/not answering. I… shouldn’t even be surprised at this point. This clinic is trash just like the rest of them.

Can never get in touch with anybody. When you call they put you on hold, and then answer, just to tell you that they are putting you back on hold...forever. The lady at the optometry desk is also very rude
