Hii, is Mr. Z still there? It's been a few years, but thank you.

Chantal and Valerie were always helpful and responsive to my son’s needs. He needed a stress-free environment to get back on track and learn to enjoy life again. The Psychiatrist appears to be too busy or something.
I was a patient here and was treated fairly good, there really isn’t much communication with the psychiatrist to the therapist to you about discharge dates, or more information about your treatment plan but the… therapist make up for it. I was blessed to have Mr. Z and Ms. Samurah as my therapists and can not emphasize enough!! To give them full credit of my mental health improvement. With them I have truly progressed so much and got the right therapy for me. Being able to talk to them and getting the right support from them has made me able to be more adaptable, find the right coping mechanisms for me, and accept my struggle and truly learn from this and grow as a person. Thank you to them! There are no complaints in that department. I hope they see this and continue to help other people and empower them just like they did for me. Thank you thank you thank you. Although one complaint is the lack of communication given to you about your schooling. I got super behind and just wish that my assignments could have been either 1. Sent directly to me or 2. Once I returned to school, given extra time to complete everything that I missed out on. I really had to vouch for myself when I got back to school to be given time to turn in everything without late points. In general not too bad of a place coming from a patient that had my stay.
This place is great, the staff is caring especially Jessica! My kid is learning a lot about coping skills during group therapy. Jessica is absolutely amazing, great service and she really cares about the kids.
Incredibly friendly people and a great service provided!
Changes changed my life... I was in a bad place and with the help of Dr. McFarland ,(I hope thats spelled right), and my absolutely amazing therapist Ms. Kelly, my mental health has improved. Dr. McFarland, my parents,… and I worked together to help me get off the medication that didn’t work for me anymore and moved me forward onto a new medication. Talking in my specific group really helped me move forward in my life and I felt like I wasn't alone anymore. Every staff member was so kind, caring, and consiterate to our issues. Mr. Conner helped me out with some of my school work issues by contacting my school and finding out what work I needed to be doing in order to pass. And last but not least, my therapist Ms. Kelly literally saved my life. Ms. Kelly helped me by: -walking me through my first ever therapy experience -taught me tools to use in the real would -how to understand myself and my emotions -helped us realize we are loved -showing us we aren't alone -how to cope with trauma and so much more. Im so much better because of her and I can't thank her and all the staff enough for what they have done to help me. CHANGES literally CHANGED my life. So from an actual patient to you, if you’re reading my review and are considering coming to Changes, please do. It will change your life for the better!
It doesn't matter what location you go to the care the give patients is very unprofessional, very uncaring and insensitive to patients and their needs. The management should get involved and start training people… correctly so patients walk away feeling like they're in a better place, not feeling worse than they went in. They were disgusted with the care that gives patience very unsatisfied very disgusted with this place. If I could give a lower score I would they need to shut down because they're not helping people.
i came here after i was discharged from inpatient at west park springs, my therapist was mr.Harold he was very nice and sweet and i got the care i needed while i was in php and iop id recommend this place for anyone… seeking help with mental health.
They did right by me and my family. Left is a much better state of mind & knew how to cope. Yes, they call CPS because they have to BY LAW for their patients safety.
THEY CALL CPS AT THE DROP OFF A HAT! BEWARE!! my child's therapist called CPS because she didn't have documentation of his living arrangement.... Like it's any of her business, but instead of asking the PARENTS ... Whom… have documentation, she calls CPS!!! She said she didn't ask us because we could just lie! She claims she is so worried about my child's mental state??? What happens if the state puts him in foster care.... What about his mental state then??? She doesn't really care obviously, and they teach that playing the PlayStation is a coping skill when that's the main source of stress in the home!!! Teach the kids to meditate, to take a walk breathing exercises.... REAL COPING SKILLS... THEY ARE RUINING MY CHILD AND MAKING ALL OF OUR LIVES WORSE!!! DON'T GO YOU'LL REGRET IT!!!
Terrible place.
Horrible place made me want to kill my self more, horrible to patients
The staff was great and really helped my child. Thank you for all your help
I've been here six times exactly and the only reason I'm giving it a five star rating is because of Mrs. Wanda. She is an employee here and every time I came back she always would tell me that its okay to not be okay… and that she hopes that I make it through the hard times and that the next time she hears from me that I'm not in a hospital but out living my life
No one communicates with each other on important insurance issues and I have been calling the changes location for over half an hour while they are currently open and no one will pick up the phone. I will never… recommend this place to anyone as it has been nothing but a headache and ridiculous run arounds.
This place does not feel safe! A family member is currently there and we are trying to get her out but they are not helping us in this process. While we were on the phone, we can hear staffs yelling and cussing in the… background. If anyone knows how to get hold of someone who can help us, let me know!
This Hospital is terrible!! I've had Dr. Whoa whoa or however you spell his name. I have had him everytime I went to this hospital. He's a very rude African man! Very rude. He doesn't listen and he's in and out in less… than 2 minutes. When you try to change doctors they make you feel out a form to see if another doctor will except you. 100% out of the time they won't because the doctors stick together. So your forced to pay for a doctor you do not like or want! The food is terrible and if you get lucky and they have something you like you are not a loud to get seconds. They really try to stretch the food and they dont try to hide that factor either. Such bottom line class for a hospital. Even if your still down depressed , suicidal, hearing voices or whatever your reason is your there. They will boot you out as soon as the insurance says your time is up. You have to beg for snacks on the units and they ration them out like your homeless people living under a bridge. Once again they don't hide the fact that it's barely enough to go around. The drink machines on the units are always empty and so are the fefrigeraters.
This place was the absolute worst place that my family could have been victimized by. They made my teenager feel empowered to disrespect her parents, and come up with lies. If I could I would give 0 stars. Don't waste… your time, sanity or money there.
My daughter seems happier, I feel as though our relationship is improving and those don't like the drive
First of all this place told me that there would be a family meeting every week. They called me in for the first so-called ‘family meeting’. Turned out all it was was for them to tell me my son told them that he had… done drugs and nothing more. That was the only time they held a so-called ‘family meeting’. Then instead of communicating with me about my son, they called CPS on me because they suspected I gave him marijuana and alcohol. Also, my son has to drink a Certain amount of nutritional drinks for his Gastro disease Each day, doctors orders, and doesn’t have to eat solid food unless he wants to. So, again instead of contacting me regarding the issue, they told CPS- that I’m not feeding my son. They also drug tested him without even telling me and never shared the results with me. When my son told me they drug tested him, I asked them for the results and they said I had to call a number they gave me. They also discharged him the day that he told them about a suicide attempt. Apparently the insurance wouldn’t cover any more days. To me, I would think that they would keep him because of the suicidal attempt. These people do not communicate with the parents and are so eager to call CPS- behind the parents back.
So grateful for all the help we have received from Changes. Because of you, my daughter has found hope again. Thank you so much for all you have taught her and for the constant support and kindness you show!
They were really nice in the beginning but the doctor was very rude. Instead of listening to my daughter she told her to be quiet since she didn't know anything. Very unprofessional.
We were lied to, threatened with CPS involvement, and sold services that they didn’t have the staff to support. The certified teacher quit the same day my daughter started, so the therapist tried to pull double duty.… Same therapist lied to us about inpatient bed availability, then was threatened with cps involvement if we didn’t admit our child to a facility of their choosing. A true nightmare of a facility. Sadly, not too many other options available.
No one will even call me back.
