El Paso Community MH/MR – El Paso Detox and Rehab Services
The provision listed at El Paso Community MH/MR – El Paso is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
The record shows integrated treatment rather than one problem then the other. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

El Paso Community MH/MR – El Paso Address, Location and Contact Information
725 South Mesa Hills Drive, El Paso, Texas, 79912 is the address held. El Paso sits in El Paso County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. The practical question of getting to appointments week after week is worth thinking through at the outset.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Admissions lines are frequently busiest early in the week, which is worth knowing if the first attempt fails.

Thank you for your patience! I hope you have a great day, El Paso Behavioral staff! :) You helped me make my days better! Especially the women of EPBHN! :)
Excellent place to seek help when times are difficult, they offer in clinic as well as telehealth services , everyone here has been so kind and helpful specially Alejandra therapist she is so patient and professional.
So this is a new review from me. I know Emergence deals primarily with mental health issues but there are some PAs who see regular patients. These regular patients are often overlooked. The office still takes forever to… answer calls and when a call goes through the staff doesn't seem to know anything about the patient calling. It's almost like they do not have a computer in front of them to look up patients. It's all very frustrating. Nobody ever answers the phone there. It doesn't matter if you call early in the day or late in the afternoon.
I appreciate everything they do always an easy experience
I am so happy and grateful for the treatment I received from the staff. They are very professional and kind. They care and that’s what makes the difference from other clinics. Thank you for your support and kindness!… Awesome job!!
The front desk at this office is consistently unprofessional, and my experience matched exactly what other reviews warned about. I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism at this office. I provided my… full insurance information a month before my appointment, and the staff confirmed multiple times that they accepted my Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico plan. I waited weeks without medication, only to be told one hour before the appointment that they actually do not take my insurance. This is not a small mistake — this is a basic verification step that any competent office should handle before scheduling a patient. This mistake caused a significant delay in my care and left me without the medication I need. I understand insurance can be complicated, but verifying coverage BEFORE scheduling is BASIC office protocol. I would have appreciated honest information from the beginning so I could have scheduled with an appropriate provider sooner. This was careless, unprofessional, and showed zero regard for patient care or time. Patients deserve better.
This is one of the best places to go for mental health. We’ve had friends and family that have come here and have found it very helpful. They are very good at helping with medication tapering. There are two mental… health nurses that are stellar; Dr. Parra and Mrs. Jackson. They are very good with patient confidentiality, to the point where legal documents have to be submitted yearly to verify that family or friends may receive information.
They are very professional, friendly, and empathetic.
My medications were sent to the wrong Pharmacy. I'm thinking of refusing treatment all together. Why should I take medicines that aren't readily available to me at all times? Although they help I don't want to take a… medicine that I'm reliant on for the rest of my life just for it to not be available. I'd rather seek natural remedies for the Psychological problems that I'm dealing with for this very reason.
Always have a great experience at the west side. Staff is very friendly from office coordinators to nursing.
I highly recommend avoiding this program. The majority of people who will be working directly with your child are vastly inexperienced. Their guidance and counseling is potentially more dangerous than not asking for… external help at all. I would highly recommend services in the private sector before considering Emergence. Take that as you may, proceed at your own risk.
The office on the west side has one thing that really bothers me. They never call you back when you leave a message. You have to actually go in person and talk to somebody. It makes me wonder if anybody goes through and… listens to the messages.
I went there for my appointment and it was fast. I was treated nicely by the staff.
They keep changing my appointments on me. So a person on Tuesday was in a crisis and delayed my appointment with my prescriber 30 minutes out that day. I totally respect them for helping this said individual but it… threw my appointments out of proportion. I just decided to reschedule with a different prescripber due to issues with availability. They lied to me and indicated there was availability on Thursday this week when there actually wasn’t . They said it was actually scheduled for December 7th, 2023 at 11:00 am now. I was expecting a call today like the desk representative advised I should receive but I have not received a call. I can’t get a hold of the front desk and I called the nurses to find this out. Kind of inconvenient. Person in crisis thank you. I’ve been off my medication for months now so this adds onto the universe’s stress I have already.
Impossible to get ahold of someone if there is an issue. truly do not care about the patients it seems. called for 2 days and when i finally got through was told a message would be left for my provider, called later due… to no call back and nothing had been passed to her. Terrible terrible place.
I had an appointment today and I felt super dismissed. Been diagnosed with ADHD since I was 10. And because sometimes I couldn’t sleep and was impulses which is an ADHD symptom. He said I have bipolar disorder. Very… disappointing now I have to find a new doctor to get on my meds that I’ve had for years and work for me. I recommend the doctor go back to school to read more into ADHD because he really didn’t know what he was talking about
Beyond ridiculous front desk assistants. My mom suffers from high anxiety and recently started seeing a doctor at Emergence. She explicitly shared with the doctor that she needs a replacement for her anti-anxiety… medication. The doctor did not prescribe her this and she is having debilitating panic attacks. I called on her behalf and the front desk person said "there's no medication for anxiety" no effort, no empathy absolutely nothing.
This place has helped me in so many ways. I definitely recommend this place for any mental health issues.
I really like my doctor but the front desk staff are really hard to get in touch with. I have called several times during regular business hours for the past 4 days and nobody picks up the phone. I have been calling… since 8am I have left several voice mails and nobody calls me back. The few times I have spoken to one of the ladies she said they will call me back three times and they never did ... it’s very difficult to get anything done or set up an appointment..very poor customer service and communication.
