Central Outpatient – El Paso Detox and Rehab Services
The register shows Central Outpatient – El Paso providing partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.
The record shows integrated treatment rather than one problem then the other. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Central Outpatient – El Paso Address, Location and Contact Information
The site is at 1551 Montana Avenue in El Paso, Texas, 79902. El Paso sits in El Paso County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

I was in the IOP program, and it really helped me a lot.
Great program everyone is so nice and welcoming.
Mixed reviews on EHN on the Eastside of town. The people at the counter are welcoming and great, they really made a difference when I would've just left. But then you have senior caseworker that are gonna "gaslight" you… and throw out their own diagnosis as a why to direct your treatment as they see fit. In my case a quick dismissal of PTSD within 5 -10 minutes and a disqualifier for counseling services. All done by a caseworker not a psychiatrist or phycologist needed. I am not sure how the program works, but I have "SI" all the time I mentioned that and I get an appointment for a month down the line...? Is that strategy? Giving me something to look forward to? Something to keep me around? I don't know. I was given a case workers number - which I've texted several times, and have gotten no response. Its the setting of false expectations that hits the hardest.
Trash, not worth the free services for the stress they create
I honestly think that this place is very helpful. There are different therapy methods and coping skills that are used to help you get through whatever you are going through.
Highly recommend
PHP/IOP program really helped out when things got rough.
The php iop program helped me a lot, I appreciate the time spent here and the time spent with peers. The help/tools given are of great use.
So very grateful to the team of professionals who have helped me through the most challenging and difficult time of my journey this far. I am grateful and thankful for everything you have done in my life! You have truly… changed me, I came in one broken person and walk away a complete different woman. Thank you so much! Grateful to all!
Great staff
I am a current patient here, got transferred from the Harris center and really regret it but I can't move back so it is what it is, the program lacks of attention in core areas to be treated, I'm not getting all my meds… from this program wich to me it's trowing away the hard work and attention from the staff. Whats the point of give half the treatment to someone? This is like going to the doctor for an open wound and just getting a prescription for an anti-inflammatory but no antibiotics for that wound to not get infected resulting in a bigger problem down the road. This just screams fraud at some higher level where the people in charge aren't really worried about the patient and instead they're just focus in draining whatever it's possible without getting too many liabilities involved. It's just sad to witness the staff take those extra steps in order to make the patient feel like they're not alone, that there is someone who cares for them and their mental illness. " Sorry but we can't prescribe that medication because the program doesn't treat those illnesses " .... SMH
Loved the program. All around helpful and enjoyable. I commend the staff for their efforts and empathy. Thank you!
Can never answer the phone when they're needed.
Helped me so much when I didn’t know that I could be helped. Staff here is amazing. Great experience overall.
I went in completely anxious, angry, and depressed not knowing what to expect or how vulnerable I would be”have” to be. Turns out, it is a completely safe environment. The therapist are very in tune with every… individual. They are gentle and encouraging, professional and knowledgeable. The peer specialist is absolutely the best! Funny, considerate, encouraging, knowledgeable and a “safe place” to be yourself. I highly recommend this place for anyone suffering from trauma, panic disorders, mental health issues etc. The professional prescribing your meds is also super kind and dedicated to your health and wellbeing.
Attend the PHP and transitioned to IOP. This has changed my mental health is so many way. I would recommend this therapy to anyone.
