El Paso VA Westside CBOC – El Paso

It is far for me compared to the main VA, but I absolutely adore and admire, and trust Dr. Okechukwu and Her 3-Lady Team.

Dr Quirarte and all the staff at the El Paso Westside VA clinic are professional, thorough, and so helpful. We’re fortunate to have this resource as veterans!

LOVE IT. NEED IT! Wish it was bigger and offered more care/treatment services. El Paso is too big to force all to east side at the new facility in the near future.

They treated my husband like trash today. He is on Dr. Cheng group, the support staff are terrible, rude and they do not care. They do not even take the blood pressure correctly and when he asked about it they just… laughed. And after they up set him they tried to say he had high blood pressure which they caused. They are terrible.

Needed to be seen only to be turned away and instructed to go register with main post because, it’s been a while since my last visit. Not very receptive and you could sincerely see they don’t give a crap about you. Just… being real.

As far as my Team with Dr. SANDOVAL SIMPLY THE VERY BEST. I appreciate all they do for me. Sometimes the front desk can be a little rough. But for the most part helpful.

The El Paso VA Westside Clinic is excellent. Dr. Quirarte and his team are the best—always attentive and thorough. The lab process is quick and easy as long as you’re on time. Great care every visit.

If you have a problem where you need to see a doctor, go to urgent care. The only thing this VA is good for is labs and outsourcing.

Clean, friendly, and very easy for one-on-one appointments like a blood sample or referral for a specialist. Way better than going all the way out to the downtown VA.

Honestly, I’ve been out of the military for almost a year now - I have received care from this facility as my main provider. My care has been nothing short of exceptional. PCM and nurses listen to me and address the… issues I bring up, friendly front desk staff, and a clean facility.

Good atmosphere

To small of a waiting area, overcrowded patients just lingering waiting to be helped check in. Ended up with Covid just a few days later, I’m sure this is where I caught it.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Westside clinic. They treated me with respect and dignity even when I was there on the wrong day. My primary doctor is great and listen to me and all my aches and pains. Thank… you

This place violates your 1st amendment. Shameful.

The people r very rude and don't know the law

They have taken Great Care of me since I started coming to this clinic 2 years ago. They have gone out of their way to make sure all of my healthcare needs are met. This VA i(West side clinic ,El Paso on Northwestern Blvd) is giving veterans a second chance to die for their country. It takes months before they schedule an appointment with your primary doctor, then the day before… your appointment they call you to cancel and give you an appointment for another 2 months later, meanwhile been multiple times to the ER for the same problem, except problem is getting much worse each time. Every ER discharge concludes in "Follow up with primary doctor" but primary doctor is perpetually unavailable. I asked to see another doctor in the clinic if possible, i don't care who i see, i just need a primary doctor to see me, any primsry doctor so that they can refer me to a specialist. The lady in the fron office tells me no other doctor is available. When i submitted a request to change provider at a different clinic, the Director of the clinic, Dr Sandoval, calls me to inform me that he is declining my request because he doesn't have the authority to do that and i will have to appeal my request, again FURTHER DELAYING patient care. They lie about the doctor being unavailable until February because the doctor was there at least as early as January 10th when i went there to complaint. The director kept telling me on the phone "Ma'am im not trying to be disrespectful to you" in an aggressive tone of voice before every other sentence, he's basically telling me that what he really wants to do is curse me out but he is not allowed to because im a patient. I'm a nurse, I know the lingo. This clinic is trash. BY FAR, THE WORST I've ever seen and ive been a veteran in the VA system over 16 years. Please go somewhere else. These people lack respect, compassion, knowledge, care, manners.

Awesome Clinic

I been going here for physical therapy. The service from doctor is great. I walk in and am immediately signed in by staff at front desk. Definitely a lot better than staff at Eastside Va clinic. The physical therapy at… Eastside was a joke compared to Westside. Dr. Mamkherzi is great. Takes the time to explain and show you what exactly is the purpose of the treatment.

Some of the worse but WORSE customer service in the WEST SIDE VA CLINIC IN EL PASO TEXAS. Dr.Kopczyk and staff professionalism is really really BAD. IF YOU GO TO WS5 forget it.

Excellent team. We are glad to have the west side clinic, now is easy to attend the appointment.

People here are lazy and slow you wait an hr past your appt time and no one cares..they don't even do bare minimum...and the service they provide for vets is disgusting always with bad attitudes...they need to fire all… the staff and start fresh
