Imagine by Northpoint – Seattle Detox and Rehab Services

The register shows Imagine by Northpoint – Seattle providing intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

While it's not all bad, and it's been a couple of months since I've been there, I won't lie and say it's great. Some of the staff I truly love and are very nice. But there's one staff member that should not be allowed… to work there. I'm looking at you Marcus. They made one of my friends have a panic attack and leave, and when they promised me they wouldn't bring up stuff we talked about at my family session, they did. And they seemed to not care even though I was crying and hyperventilating. That night I tried to O'D and ended back up in the psych ward worse than before, after spending 3 days in the hospital rehab.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. My experience here actually made my mental health worse, not better. During my time as a patient, I was threatened by a boy who said he would punch me in the face. He even… harassed me outside of treatment, and when I brought it up, the staff barely did anything about it. Instead, they disciplined me more than him — even though I didn’t do anything wrong. The environment felt unsafe and extremely stressful. The therapists rarely listened to what I had to say and constantly dismissed my opinions or concerns. It honestly felt like they didn’t care about how I was feeling or what I was going through. This place made me feel unheard, scared, and completely unsupported. I wish I could give it 0 stars because no one deserves to go through what I did here.

They give up too easily on your child. He came out feeling worse then when he arrived. They called me to tell me my son ran away but then made me wait in the waiting room for 15 minutes, then took me in the back room… and told me they called the police to ho look for him and the. They wanted me to wait to talk to someone else instead of looking for my child. Of course I left to go find my son and luckily I found him. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants their child to gain confidence and trust.

Majority of the staff were incredibly kind and supportive! One star deducted because of one staff member who was not this way (they were quite the opposite, actually). Would recommend for IOP.

What is frustrating is the website says they treat co-occuring substance abuse and mental health issues. They do not, at least at their outpatient program at Northgate. They should be more clear about this on the… website and in the initial intake process by phone, as they are wasting precious time of parents who are desperately seeking care, as well as then telling teens being honest about their use and seeking help that they cannot help. Please fix this issue and be more transparent.

I have gone to both the PHP and the IOP and I will say that my experience there has been quite nice, there are some things that don't sit with me right but besides that, the people, the staff, and the program, in… general, is quite nice, the only things that bothered me was the fact that I had stated that a topic someone was speaking about was triggering for me and might've caused me a panic attack and one of the staff completely dismissed me saying that "we may have triggers but others need to talk about things triggering or not" and that was the first time I had said something was triggering in the months I had been there. as well as the fact that we aren't allowed to turn any lights off usually and I understand it but as an autistic person that can't handle too bright of lights they should at least try to offer sunglasses or something like that or get dimmer lights if possible and I understand like budgets and all of that but sunglasses at least should be decently in the budget. but besides those things, my experience there has been great, the rest of the staff except for that one staff are absolutely amazing and the people there are very supportive and helpful with things going on, little or not little, I would recommend this place though, it has been very beneficial to me especially since the last program I had gone to was very dismissive so if you are going through mental issues like bipolar, OCD, anxiety, depression, and etc I would highly recommend this program.

absolutely horrible experience. I’m curious to know these “people’s” qualifications to work with mentally ill patients. told me i’m “over-reacting” when i was having a panic attack. that doesn’t take a phd in psychology… to know to not say that.

I was admitted to both the Php and IOP and I can say they made a tremendous difference. The staff is extremely caring and helpful as well as all around professional.

Imagine has helped our son and family in extraordinary ways. While we were down and broken, they gave us ways to put our family back together again. Meredith encouraged us as parents as well and gave us tools to have… healthy relationships during difficult times. I also liked the staggered approach they took to healing and didn’t send our son off to the world before he was ready. Highly recommend!

To those who are in need of help with their addictions I Highly recommend Northpoint Recovery. I checked into Northpoint on June 3rd of 2020 and it was the best decision I have ever made. To say that Northpoint saved my… life would be a gross understatement. The staff is top notch and made me feel right at home from the minute I walked in the doors. My peers and staff from my time at NPR have become my forever family and I couldn’t be happier.

North point is an amazing place. The staff is amazing, caring, understanding, respectful, I wish I had the vocabulary to really describe how good they are. Loving is probably the best way to describe them. When you are… down and out people need love and that’s what they give. I cannot give them enough stars!! Thank you north point I will be forever grateful.

My younger sibling went to imagine and really enjoyed it. Everyone who worked there was extremely supportive and helpful towards my sibling. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere to seek therapy… and support through hard times.

This was a wonderful and helpful experience for my daughter. She was having a lot of problems communicating her feelings and dealing with things that had happened in school in the past. All the staff were so supportive… and helpful to our family. I know my daughter would have been happy if the program was longer.
