About EOSIS – Hopkins

EOSIS sits at 6109 Blue Circle Drive, Hopkins — around 2.4 miles from Edina and 3.5 from Minnetonka. People travelling from Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, St. Louis Park and Bloomington are all inside 6 miles. Hopkins sits in Hennepin County, and the county’s own provision is limited enough that this site draws from a wide area.

EOSIS delivers intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Medication-assisted treatment is part of the offer, the approach with the strongest evidence for opioid dependence. Telehealth appointments are available, which matters where the drive is long. Trauma-focused work forms part of the approach. Licensing sits with the Minnesota Department of Human Services, alongside federal SAMHSA registration.

Rehab without insurance in Minnesota often costs $3,000 to $9,000 a month for an intensive outpatient program and $1,200 to $5,000 a month for standard outpatient care. Prices for EOSIS were not found at the time of writing, so these typical Minnesota costs are the closest guide.

Do yourself a big favor and listen to my advice. Please don’t go here. It’s not the same place as it was 6 years ago when Jim and Matt were running it. Go elsewhere please

Horrible place, they will mess up any progress you have made. Do not go here. Jim and Matt where the best but they do not work here anymore. Trust me find someplace else! Just trust me on this one. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT… HERE

DO NOT GO HERE! IT IS A BIG MISTAKE IF YOU ARE COURT ORDERED! THEY WILL GIVE A BIASED REPORT TO THE COURTS. I AM SOBER AND THEY KICKED ME OUT This is the worst outpatient program ever. Run! Do not make the same mistake… I made. I stayed sober after inpatient treatment, and I am still sober. After discharging from inpatient treatment I was court ordered to get the alcohol monitoring device within 24 hours. So that was my 1st priority, I didn't attend the 1st day because I had to take the bus from. ST Cloud to St Paul. I went the wrong direction and I didn't get there in time so the next day I had to miss group again. I figured it would be an excused absence. Then it was Thanksgiving day so group was supposed to start on Monday. I was doing it through Zoom, and the councilor logged me off of group for not having my camera on. She told me she messaged me 2X. I never received a message. Then the next 3 hours I tried and tried to get back in. I was emailing technical support but nothing worked. Then the next day I ran out of phone time but I was ready to start 1.5 hours later. But again I could not get logged in. Turns out she kicks me out of the program. I was supposed to move into this great sober house in Rochester that very day. But she tells my PO that I did an intake on Nov 20th. Which is true but she made it sound like I have not gone to group since that day. When I actually got out of treatment on Nov 24th and I didn't make it to my mom's until 7pm. T She purposely didn't call me or answer my emails the entire day. But she tells my PO that she could get me into inpatient TX again. But she doesn't call me until 2:00. And then she has to let me go as soon as I bring up getting me into another program. .y PO told me he would give me until the end of the day. She never called me back. And she didn't try to help me and she made me sound as bad as she could. Completely biased report on what actually happened. I am sure most of you are court ordered to attend some program. But don't go here. They will screw up any chance you have at success. And trust me you have little to no say in anything. All the courts care about is what they say. DON'T RISK IT BY GOING HERE!! IT'S A HUGE MISTAKE!!

Best experience I’ve had in any type of therapy or treatment. New Beginnings, and the counselor Kelly in particular, were life changing to me. The structure included substance use coping skills but more information on… mental health in general. The care from Kelly was unmistakable. Highly recommended program!

Matt and Jim are men of exceptional qualities and humility. They are dedicated to the success of their clients on a level I've rarely witnessed in my 40+ years of struggle with addiction and recovery.
