We love our visits with Dr Doo 🤩
Went into the walk in clinic to see Dr hart. The worst experience, I wouldn’t recommend going to see Dr hart. She didn’t do nothing for me. She just told me it could be this this or this, didn’t do any test or anything… on me.
My experience with Springhill Medical Center has been very positive. The staff is caring and professional. Having brought a friend of mine into the Emergency Room for a heart attack showed me just how professional and… attentive the staff is. They stabilized my friend and then shipped him to Willis Knighton for surgery. The physicians at WK informed my friend that because of the staffs fast response he only lost 2% of his heart, which is great considering the situation. Thanks to the Emergency Staff at Springhill Medical Center my friend is alive today living a very active life. Thank you Springhill Medical Center ER Staff.
This was by far one of the best hospitals I have ever experienced. They were so good to my husband. They started testing and working on him the minute he came in and the staff were so very kind! Also it was very clean… in there as well!
The staff and doctors here need to be investigated by the state medical board. For decades this hospital, specifically the ER department, has been a joke among people who live in the area. Poor service, bad advice from… doctors. But it’s not a joke when they do things that could end in fatality. This is week a family member went to ER and the doctor not only refused to run tests for the presented problem, he also prescribed a medication that treats the opposite condition. If I didn’t intervene, or if this had been a child, they could have died. We’re reporting this to as many agencies as possible. DO NOT CONSIDER THIS AN OPTION IN EMERGENCIES. If this were my closest ER, I would educate myself and family on first aid and basic life saving techniques and have basic equipment on hand to get you to Minden, Magnolia, Bossier….anywhere but this hospital.
The doctors have been great but the clerical staff is absolutely awful. It took over an hour for them to complete my out patient papers because they were all so busy laughing, eating and just chatting it up on their… phones. I won’t be back.
Will lose charts of what you are allergic to then give you the meds you are allergic to some staff are helpful but most are useless er part is very helpful but for the medical center itself it's a shame to even call it… a hospital
If they send keep sending severe asthma patients away they'll have alot of deaths on their hands. I respect most doctors but those who don't have asthma nor the complications of it when developing a severe illness of… any kind, they need to evaluate more closely. Cuz they can't relate they only go by ur "symptoms" they don't listen to what u need. So, big jeers. Because some of us suffer very badly. And they don't care. Also was refused a xray of my chest becuz I'm having severe asthma attacks that are caused from something other than just asthma/allergies. I'm 14 weeks pregnant and they said no it'll hurt the baby. But ice called another facility and they will xray a pregnant woman. Bottom line? The doctor Calhoun is a very bad doctor who likes to yell at his patients who are really suffering just becuz they come in alot becuz they're medicine isn't working they're not Tripping doctor Calhoun for u to lose your temper like u do alot in thay er u need ur title revoked taken away! Anyways yall refused a request and turns out it's safe. So, shove your lies Calhoun u a pathetic doctor anyways.
Had to go to ER for stitches on my face after a fall. Dr Ike was wonderful as was the staff. I received prompt attention and I really appreciated their caring attitudes.
Great!
Thank you to the nurses and staff and Doctor for saving my life I appreciate Suzy and Amanda they worked a long time to get me stable and be able to come home and live I thank you from the bottom of my heart
Great help & took care of me in my time of need
Par for a medical facility
This place is a scam. I am a pharmd. I tried to go ama after they left me at the Fayetteville er because my bp was so high. So they refused to give me my meds to keep me alive.. my thyroid meds and my blood pressure… meds since that is what put me i. The er in the first place. This place is shady… beware
I live in springhill it's the only hospital here
I love the new doctor they have Mr.Freeman is awesome! He treated my daughter for her problem and he was extremely kind and knew what he was doing. The nurses were kind as well this hospital has really came a long way!
Helpful
Horrible place. I had to check my wife in the ER the other day and they told me to go home and the doctor would call me. I’m listed as her emergency contact and the person they can share her information with. The doctor… never called so I called and I spoke to her doctor who was a very rude female. I asked if my wife was ok and about her vital signs because she has heart problems. The doctor said, “Your wife will let you know if she wants to.” My wife was not able to call me. I heard from my wife when she got to another hospital. She was fine.
Had to be treated outside under roof, which is understandable. However it was cold and raining. Do NOT like ER Dr.
Negligent. Nurses don't know how to do their job. Rude. Dismissive. Pardue doesn't care. Seems people are just $$$ to her. Went because I was going into shock randomly with low blood pressure (I assume) and she only… checked my blood sugar and then when that came back fine she smiled and said it must be because I'm on some trendy diet a lot of kids are on these days. I'm not doing any type of diet. But she didn't care and didn't care to do any other test. I was supposed to go to a cardiologist. The nurses never call me so I was calling them to get updates and they'd get snappy with me and said "we'll call you when we hear something" it's probably been close to 2 years now. Don't waste your time going here.
I have used this hospital countless times, in the last 10-12 years, for ER services, various test procedures, X-rays etc. and have always received top notch care. I have NEVER been treated poorly by anyone there. In… fact, I now reside in south Shreveport and still drive to Springhill for routine medical care because I trust the dedicated/devoted staff there. No complaints.
I hate that horrible hospital when I was in the hospital for the dizziness was bad and my blood pressure was high I never had high blood pressure before my nana was with me and mom and the nurses was horrible I'm glad… that I moved to my home town minden la here in minden their nice to me and have bedside manners I give minden hospital 100 hundred and a half
Terrible expect to wait for hours , if any other people are there or not ... I moved here couple of years back and kids have went several times , every time three different doctors one old man was very rude , another… Chinese man was the slowest and sloppiest person I've ever seen in my life and I parked close to the door not in the way of the ambulance to come through but one never did, because my child couldn't walk and the lady came out and said she would call the cops if I didn't move the truck when I moved it there because the 4 hr wait was almost over and we were signing out. , just plain pitiful place , period ...
