DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE Had the misfortune of meeting some supervisor named Heather today who gaslit me after failing to assist me in 106degree heat while I'm homeless. I've been a client there for at least 3 years.… This place is such a mix of terrible and great. Other than her and the lack of funding for ACTUAL ASSISTANCE, this place is awesome. Cheryl and Alexis are angels. Muskogee is a shithole city though. Good riddance. After trying to file a formal, written complaint about Heather I was gaslit a second time by Tray who is apparently a patient advocate. Why would an advocate tell a 4-year-long client that to be able to file a complaint they would have to come up to their abusers place of work and speak with them in person? Why is there no official channel to make a written complaint? Raises suspicion. Do you actually help people or are you just taking in funding and doing nothing to actually assist people? You purchased a second facility recently while telling people you didnt have funding for gas cards or help with tuition and now there's some AI data center being built next door. This place is practically dead to me now. Was good while it lasted. I'll survive this homeless summer in spite of people like Heather. My old highschool in Tulsa did more for me and my stability in 1 day than GCBHS did for me in 6 months during a crisis. Shelley Gower has gaslit me twice now. I assume she got that behavior from the incompetent and dangerous supervisor she works under, Heather. Do not come here. I received services for FREE and still feel scammed.
I can’t recommend this place enough!! I went to them in a very paniced state and they managed to help me back. They are all amazing and understanding.. Life Saving
I trusted therapist Lena Northcutt at Green Country Behavioral Health, and she severely violated that trust. What happened left me feeling hurt, dismissed, and completely let down. When you seek help, you’re putting… your vulnerability in someone else’s hands, and the way she handled my situation showed a lack of professionalism, boundaries, and care. During a treatment-plan conversation, Lena’s supervisor was present and overseeing the discussion. Even with a supervisor in the room, the way Lena handled my situation broke the trust I had placed in her. Instead of feeling supported, I felt exposed and unheard. That moment changed the entire course of my experience there. My experience with Lena was not just disappointing — it was damaging. Instead of feeling supported, I felt exposed and unheard. The choices she made during my time under her care created emotional fallout that I’m still working through. No one should walk into therapy and come out feeling worse than when they started. I’m sharing this because trust is crucial in mental‑health settings, and people deserve to know what they may be walking into. I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did. If you’re considering therapy here, please be cautious, ask questions, and make sure you feel safe, respected, and truly supported. Your mental health deserves better than what I experienced with Lena Northcutt.
Crisis Unit Saved my life. I can't say enough good things about Everyone
This place is a absolute joke. Sure every one there is nice and friendly but what's really hidden behind that fasade they put on. Nothing more than a scam they don't want to help you they just want to sting you along as… a joke and a money farm by scheduling you to see tons of different people for different reasons while trying to convince you their actually trying to help. No one here knows what's going on every person gives different answers, they don't want to look and find what your issues are they want you to come in and be the Dr and tell them everything and basically self diagnose. Don't hop on this hamster wheel as there's no cheese, just be free.
Prescribers here ignored my symptoms for 6 months. In one day after paying $300 to visit another clinic, my symptoms were identified and treated immediately. I feel guilty that I didn't file for malpractice now because… I worry others treated here might suffer the same trials.
Great inpatient care great people all around just a really bad experience with a really bad provider
Great place helped me get settled and stabilized on medication to be able to get a healthy amount of sleep, and medicated for schizophrenia. Thank you God for healthcare, but wait there's more please help me find a long… term career, and thank you. Gifts later
If I could give it zero stars I would. Save yourself the trouble if you or someone you know is experiencing a crisis by skipping GC and go to Tulsa. You’d even have better luck with calling the police than dealing with… these people. A suicidal child goes without even being seen and essentially told to wait till they are suicidal again before their crisis team can do anything. It’s a joke. I would LOVE to speak to someone about this situation in hopes it prevents another family from having to go through this and worst case scenario - a child completing suicide.
good service but its extremely annoying to sit and wait AN HOUR to get seen by a provider on a tablet that you only speak too for 10 minutes while you watch everyone else come in and out!
I've Been Working From Home Making Sure Everything's On Point In The Household & That Everybody Is As Sharp As They Can Be, We' ve Been Doing Envision Math & Reading Comprehension For The Kiddos, Black & Blue Eastwood… Has Assisted With This As Well.....
Helped me stay sober
I am very grateful for the care I received there. theartistknownasBob.
I am extremely grateful for having everyone at GCBH. They are the team for me. I don't know where I'd be alone. Thank you all
Awkward timing rude staff
Unless you want to spend two hours looking at a tablet and talk to a doctor and get more confused then when you walked in
Green Country’s new direction and services are stellar. When an agency doesn’t hire to fill seats but puts it priority on only hiring compassionate, caring and empathetic staff that truly care about the clients and the… service delivery that is best for the community it’s always going to be worthy of 5 stars. I’ve been in this business for over 40 years and I truly recognize commitment to excellence in this business.
They failed me
The counselors are nice, but the med clinic is a pretty useless. You have to explain yourself multiple times, and then they won't prescribe the medication you need and have taken and tolerated well for 30 years. It's… insane that they wiling to prescribe Suboxone, a very potent and addictive Schedule III narcotic, but refuse to prescribe Clonazepam, a less harmful Schedule IV medicine for severe anxiety (Because its "addictive"). Apparently they're willing to let their patients suffer because nobody has educated them on the difference between addiction and physical dependence. Go for the counseling, but find caring and compassionate doctors for your medication elsewhere.
They wanted me to wait a week to fill my Suboxone. I've had a hard enough time staying clean without them withholding my prescription.
I thought when I wanted to get help? Not forcing me to get help.
Major breakthroughs, follow up and caring . Prompt referral to outside resources
Best inpatient care I’ve had- staff are really great people!!
Actually I was wondering how much it cost without insurance
Great organization, Friendly environment and a great place to start all over again with the right Professional people
