I have had multiple negative experiences at Wagoner Hospital, and unfortunately, I feel the quality of patient care has declined significantly. In my opinion, one of the biggest reasons this hospital is struggling is… the way patients are treated. Patient experiences matter, and when people consistently feel dismissed or disrespected, they lose trust and choose to go elsewhere. The staff have repeatedly come across as rude, dismissive, and lacking compassion. Patients deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of why they are seeking care. Instead, I’ve witnessed patients being treated as though they were drug seeking before being properly evaluated. Even if someone has a history of addiction, they still deserve respectful, professional medical care. One experience that still stands out is when my daughter had something lodged in her throat and was turned away. As a parent, that was incredibly frustrating and concerning. I’ve also overheard conversations about patients that made me question whether patient privacy and professionalism were being taken seriously. Healthcare workers should always be mindful of protecting patient confidentiality and maintaining trust. With everything that’s been reported about the hospital’s financial struggles, it raises concerns about whether the facility has the resources needed to safely care for the community. If the hospital cannot consistently provide appropriate care, those issues need to be addressed instead of leaving patients wondering whether they’ll receive the care they need. Our community deserves a hospital where patients are treated with compassion, professionalism, and respect. I genuinely hope leadership takes a hard look at the culture and patient experience because I believe that’s where meaningful change begins. Until then, I believe the way patients are treated is a major reason so many people choose to seek care elsewhere and why that hospital struggles financially.

I love wagoner community health when it comes to my needs. They've always been welcoming and gentle. Yes I'm embarrassed and I didn't want to text this. But I'm on the right road. All the staff has been wonderful to the… best of their abilities understanding and sympathetic to my condition. I'm just trying to medical detox. I pushed the button to get a nurse's attention since they haven't checked on me in hours and Asked if it's time to give me something to calm my tremors and my anxiety that come with detoxing from alcohol. She barged in my room voice elevated and screamed I just have you Suboxone. Which had nothing to do with my alcohol withdrawal, I'll explain my need for Suboxone at another time. But the Suboxone is isn't going to touch my tremors. She screamed that she just gave me Gabapentin! again I take it at home has nothing to do with the shakes... I low key could help. But I needed my librium or my Flexeril or something for my leg pains. It had me in tears after everything I'm already going through. And she wants to make me feel like I have zero rights to ask for my meds. No she made me feel like I was the lowest of the low. I have given this woman no reason to treat me like that. I just wanted to let whoever is over the nurse staff at night and more exact the older lady named Lydia. I feel like she needs "help". Perhaps another career choice. Because you can't treat people like dogs in the health field.

If I could give zero stars, I would. First off, my son had a dental surgery with 2 types of insurance. I verified with the insurance dept and gave information weeks before. The billing department decided to not run one… of the insurance companies correctly. I, along with my insurance have been attempting to get the issue resolved for months now and the billing department of this place is a complete joke and refuses to return either of our calls. I will never be back.

Love Dr. Guinnip, saved my wifes life and wasted no time getting her into a more capable hospital. People should appreciate having Wagoner hospital there, they DO save lives! My wife is filipino so claiming she is… racist is absurd! She is one of the nicest lady doctors ive met! Think about your own behavior in your life before judging the staff at Wagoner Hospital! They do ALOT with limited resources, so instead of criticism of the staff and facility, think about criticizing the way the absurdly high taxes in Wagoner are spent! Which is likely going into the fake cowboy politicians pocket! Truly thanks, Donnie LANGDON and Jolina LANGDON

We’ve been to this hospital a few times for a few different things and Everytime has been not great. My husband got bit by a snake so we went in. He told them he had been passing out and they proceeded to put him on the… hospital bed without putting up the rails up. He passed out and fell off the bed onto his head. He still has the bump. I took my son in because he kept choking. They didn’t even exam him they just “monitored” him. The doctor doesn’t seem to care about what she’s doing. Definitely don’t recommend especially in an emergency. They have no urgency even though they have very few patients every time we go in

My daughter just got out of hospital for her surgery and she was telling me that the person in the recovery room that was a male nurse. Tried to wake up her right after being under Anastasia she was faking being asleep… for attention ??? This is a very rude hospital wouldn’t recommend coming here February 11th is her birthday. And on top of that have surgery and on top of that have somebody be rude to her? No wonder this hospital has low ratings my daughter had to go to a different ER the same day in a different town cause of pain and cause of dizziness And a nurse from the ER saying she had to go to the ER after her gallbladder getting taken out The same day of her surgery. That’s crazy. Y'all need to fix that hospital

The worst place to go for mental health issues only a few good techs and nurses that actually care about their patients not a place for breastfeeding mothers or individuals with chronic pain The treatment is like your… lying about pain I watch a grown man be thrown and treated like a child When he was dealing with extreme chronic pain from a pelvic infection, kidney stones And even got Strapped down to a bed For wanting to use the men’s bathroom for shower to relieve from pain. as someone that has Rheumatoid Arthritis and dealing chronic pain I understand that hot water and water pressure definitely can help relieve pain. They would not accommodate this man, and clearly the medication was not working that he was given from the hospital I even got an argument about this with some of the employees that were and we’re taking care of us patients And I told him that I had rheumatoid since 2016. I’ve had doctors tell me that I was crazy and I just wanted drugs and I also didn’t get diagnosed until 2019. So I understand when people get dismissed about pain it’s wrong this place is inhumane

Racist hospital. Was there for over 2 hours for the nurses and the doctor to only check on me once. Which is when I originally arrived. A caucasian lady was in the next bed and the doctors/nurses CONSISTENTLY checked up… on her while I laid in bed with excruciating pain. I ended up leaving and driving to another hospital and was seen within 2 mins. Never again! Please avoid if possible.

Nurse and the receptionist lady and even the Dr Paula Guinnip was rude, interrupted mom while she was telling them what was wrong and why she needed to be seen. They don't listen to their patients at all. If we could… give 0 stars I would. Not a good hospital at all.

I am in this hospital. Apart from my doctor that did my surgery and a couple nurses this place is terrible to its patients! I have sit here for hours now after surgery. Requested help a few times and they took two more… hours or after that to even get in here. They keep saying that someone will be there shortly! I’m in pain and they won’t even come check on me. Other hospitals at least check on you every 3hrs or less. I don’t do drugs or nothing and I feel like they are acting like I’m a terrible person! I HAD SURGERY!

Dr Caldwell sent me here for labs. They were fairly quick with the waiting process. The tech that drew my blood was training and did perfect, because normally I am a hard stick. They were very considerate as I am… terrified of needles and have to control my breathing every time I have labs done, so I don't pass out. MRI scheduled for a couple weeks out at this place. Will update

I dont usually give a bad rating to things and im willing to be open minded and considerate but this is just disgusting. We come in today because my fiancé is in terrible extreme pain to the point they can’t even walk.… And we got our scans and xrays done but while weve been here the nurses havent checked on her at all, havent given anything for the pain or the nausea not even any updates. My fiancé is crying and puking to the point we may just walk out the door. There has been zero urgency shown. If you want decent care don't go here.

Have filed with all entities state and federal levels regarding my stay at this country hospital. Go anywhere else but here if you want proper, legal and good care. Was never informed about xray impression stating "rule… out neoplastic process" (CANCER IN MY LUNG) never informed about medications they were giving me. Never given my meds I take on a daily basis. In fact, was told "its up to you if you wnat them have your husband bring them for you to take" SERIOUSLY! Threw me into a thyroid storm now. Every time I call Mr. Leopards line and leave msg for him to return my call. Someone else calls. Brandy yesterday lied staying that she never opened investigation "bcuz you left msg stating you didn't want to meet with me or anyone and you didn't want an investigation" LIES. Complete lies. I did have appt to see her to go over the fraudulent information within my stay records there; however, after I saw the xray report that I was never told about I called and told Heather "I do not want to meet withBrandy. I will be filing with the oklahoma dept of health; my insurance; OHCA, medical licensing board against the 2 doctors and radiology as well as seeking legal counsel bcuz everything was fraud". I NEVER said I didn't want them to investigate and why would they NOT when I told her all I was filing? Brandy also told me she has never received any complaints I filed with my insurance or dept of health. More false information bcuz I have the case numbers BRANDY. They released me stating to "stop" certain meds. When I called to ask them about this they said "get ahold of your primary about that bcuz we dont know" THEY WERE THE ONES WHO ORDERED ME TO STOP THEM & MY PRIMARY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY HOSPITAL STAY. This place is worse than worse and needs to be shut down!! When I called Radiology about this xray report I was never informed of the tech (Tyler) yelled at me (nevermind she made uo some crap when I asked her what the report said and she was stunned into silence when I told her "That is NOT what it says Tyler. I have it right here in front of me let me read it to you". So I did and then asked her if she knew what that meant? she was silent for a while until she told me that was "not our responsibility that is your primary responsibility. Our job is to only treat what you are in here for" then she hung up on me. (She is being reported as well as the radiologist who read the xray after my taking it all to my Pulmonologist and she explained to me thoroughly why it was NOT cancer and she/he should've known that) This place is NOT doing the citizens of wagoner ANY justice at all. I have 35 yrs experience in the medical field and I have seen a lot of stuff but NOTHING LIKE THIS OR THE BEHAVIOR OF THESE EMPLOYEES. STAY TUNED BCUZ I WILL BE GOING TO THE PRESS AS WELL

this place was disgusting!! they never cleaned the tables or chairs!! there was all sorts of flies there that was annoying everybody!! the toilets and showers were nasty!! the staff were rude and would rather be on… their phones than actually pay attention to patients!! when patients would try to talk to them, all the can bare to say was “yeah” “uh huh” “okay” “really”, but you could tell they were barley paying attention!! you would ask for something, and you’d never get it!! there was a person there with a fractured foot and bruising on their legs, and they kept asking to see the medical doctor. but the doctor refused to see them or help them!! and the pain for them got sooo bad that they were constantly crying and in pain!! i had nightmares every night that i was there!! and they all rooted in how gross the place was!! there was crap all over the tables and things would be spilt, but not cleaned up!! that place stressed me out soo much that my stomach hurt 90% of the time i was there!! and i had a special diet i was supposed to follow, and they went in the opposite direction. i barely ate while there because the food was also disgusting!! i would literally go ANYWHERE ELSE then go back there!! i would literally go back to places i hated before, because in comparison, they are WAYYYYY better!!

Wagoner Community is proof you don't need a campus full of 10 story buildings to receive excellent care. Had a thryoid procedure performed here with Dr. Mons and couldn't be more pleased and impressed with him and the… hospital. The facility is clean and well run. EVERYONE from the docs, the nurses , techs, support staff, lab, cleaning crew and cafeteria was nice and very professional. There are too many names to remember but they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. This level of care was 24-7; not just here and there. I live in the far south Tulsa metro and it was worth a tiny drive to Wagoner to get the service I received. One week later, I'm doing great- and didn't have to get lost finding parking and the right building. It may seem odd to some reviewing a hospital on Google, but that's how much this experience stood out to me. No one likes going anywhere for surgery, but we don't always have the choice. Well done Wagoner Community!

Wagoner hospital is a disservice to the community, dont recommend. I came in for a work related chemical burn and explaining the situation. The doctor diagnosed with something else that was unrelated to what i came in… for. They ruined my job and caused a hardship on my family. I recommend this place no longer be in service for the community. They want to collect a bill for something I didn't come in for and I havent heard back from them. They didnt even cleanse or treat my wound. The Dr. needs to be Terminated.
