Services at Oasis Ascent – Provo run to residential treatment and sober living. Establishing what happens after the program ends is worth doing early. Ask how the program handles someone who has been through treatment before. Whether medication is available is worth confirming at the outset.

This place is not the place to send your kid to if they are struggling with anxiety/depression. ONLY SEND YOUR KID HERE IF THEY HAVE SEVERE BEHAVIORALISSUES. I was bullied day in and out by other clients (I received… verbal bullying and many threats to be physicallyharmed) and the staff didn't seem to care too much about that. On the page on google maps, it says OASIS is LGBTQIA+ friendly. THIS PLACE IS UNSAFE EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY FOR PEOPLE IN THE LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY.

Cristell was amazing; just the perfect combination of compassion and reality that our son needed. We are so grateful for the work she did with him and the help she offered our family to make a smooth transition back… home. When no where else would admit our son, Oasis was a life-saver.

Oasis Ascent is THE GOATED residential treatment center, it really really helped me with my struggles and the staff were very supportive and friendly. If I had to go back, I honestly wouldn’t be that mad (I wouldn’t… love it 😅) but I know that it would change my life again. If it weren’t for Oasis, I’d most definitely be in a not great place. I really think that it would benefit anyone that goes there. I just wish I were able to have graduated from there, but it just wasn’t meant to happen I guess. Thank you to everyone that works there for being such a great support! I can’t thank you enough!

This is still discovery Academy, a very abusive and horrible place to send your children.

I don’t know if I think im a believer in treatment but if you send your kid anywhere this was one of if not the best place I went and I was in treatment for 2 years and went a lot of different places I think treatment… is cool because it’s a life experience which even when life experiences suck in the moment they are still valuable but I will say I tried really hard in treatment and thought I was better but my darkest days in my life have been in the 3 years since I’ve been home from treatment the things you learn in treatment aren’t useless by any means but they often don’t translate directly to society you have to figure out your own interpretation of healthy living also treatment isn’t great or worth the money in my opinion but if you have to go anywhere oasis is the best bet that or wilderness I loved wilderness and oasis staff were really good people

Here is what we have seen and experienced, firsthand, with Oasis in Millcreek, for years: 1. Kids in their pajamas all day long 2. Kids outside listening to explicit music and using foul language, constantly 3. Kids… yelling, cursing and throwing things at the neighbors 4. Kids being “supervised” by other young adults 5. Kids climbing over the fences 6. Employees on their cell phones while “supervising” kids

We are very happy about our experience at Oasis. It gave our son a re-set from self harm and suicidal ideation. The staff are awesome. Cristell is an amazing therapist and our son developed great relationships with so… many of the staff. They do lots of recreational activities like hiking, going to the rec center, trampoline parks, ice skating, etc. There is a great weight room downstairs, a large basketball court, etc. They even bought a lacrosse net since our son and another kid liked playing. There is a large yard for football, soccer, volleyball etc. They have a set schedule and try and help them maintain that. Academics are part of the program with a dedicated teacher to help. An art room and music room are available so kids can have access to what helps them relax. They family is very included in the whole process and Cristell was great to teach, guide and listen in each meeting. Our son came back with great skills, memories, friends and is doing great so far!

We found oasis after what felt like a never ending nightmare of treatment centers for my daughter. I have to admit, I had little hope for oasis/my daughter making a turn around with her depression, Suicidal ideation,… and PTSD. When we first met with Oasis, they heard our concerns, how we plan to parent our daughter based on beliefs and experiences. They also heard my daughters side of life and how she wanted to live. They met us in the middle and created bridge for us and our family. My daughter is now home and everyone is seeing the difference. She is open to resolution, she is not self-harming.... she is happy. Alyssa and Faith (her therapists) were hands down the best. Thank you to the oasis team, we now have a real chance at a happy family and my daughter has a real chance to see her potential in life.

My son was in a bad place prior to coming here. We had tried other treatment options, and it just didn’t work. My son left Oasis happier than he had been in years. We transitioned him to the Oasis day treatment and I’m… happy to say he’s still doing great. The staff was absolutely incredible and I know they saved my son’s life.

After years of struggling at home, we made the impossibly difficult decision to look into a shorter term stabilization and treatment center for my then 12 yo son. Traveling halfway across the country to a place he’d… never been, with complete strangers, was challenging for all of us. Though he was there a short time (out of network with insurance, so we were limited in options), it was overall a positive experience. It was a chance to change settings, get a more thorough assessment, get intensive individual, group, and family counseling, and allow our family hope and a path forward. We are still on a lifelong journey, but you can tell that all of the staff, therapists, and clinicians truly care about the kids they’re working with, approach from a relational standpoint, work on skills, and help kids make a first step in the right direction. The balance of education, therapy, medication management, recreational activities, relationship building, and skill building is quite unique in an industry that has gotten a bad reputation (rightfully so in some cases). As a parent, you never imagine that you wouldn’t be able to safely support your child at home, and that’s where we were at. We are grateful for the time he spent at Oasis, and even more grateful for the dedicated staff and professionals working day in and day out to change the lives and futures of the children they serve. He spoke often about how the group and staff felt like family, and even said that he would really miss it when he left.

I am deeply grateful for the work happening at OASIS to support struggling teens and families. With the rates of teen anxiety, depression, and suicide hitting all time highs year after year, we need more quality places… for healing like OASIS. The team and staff have been phenomenal to work with and have been a positive solution in very challenging times.

My wife and I were very pleased with our experience at Oasis. The Oasis team made what is obviously a challenging time much more manageable. Our child's dedicated therapist, Joe, was incredible. He was there for our kid… and for us as parents in a way no other therapist had ever succeeded in the past. Our kid has very specific food requirements and we were so grateful that the chef met with us every week to get creative. The team dedicated to insurance was also extremely helpful in navigating this challenging process. Again, no one wants to be at Oasis so it's not like rating the Four Seasons, but relative to the situation we were very grateful for the role Oasis played in helping our family reset.

Our son went there for a few months for mental health and behavioral problems. Our son will be changed for the better because of the staff and culture that he was shown. He left uplifted and more positive for his… future. He also has been to another residential program in Utah and Oasis was far superior. Oasis also was really great at keeping kids busy and active while there with many great off campus activities.

My son, Niko, was blessed with an opportunityto attend Oasis. Prior to this, Niko had run away from home, grappling with mental health challenges, family issues, and substance abuse. In the weeks leading up to his… enrollment at Oasis, he had fled from another local program, finding himself in serious trouble. As parents living out of state, we felt utterly lost in our efforts to support Niko. However, fate intervened, and we discovered Oasis. Initially, Reggie and Aaron, both from Oasis, interviewed Niko where he was being held. They recognized his potential and ultimately welcomed him into their program. Reggie, Niko’s therapist, played a pivotal role. Not only did he guide Niko through the program, but he also became our family therapist during our weekly sessions. Over the course of 60 days at Oasis, Niko diligently worked on self-improvement, acquiring new tools and techniques. He formed positive connections with fellow clients and staff members. Reggie’s bond with Niko was instrumental in breaking through to him, allowing Niko to openly discuss his feelings and thoughts. During our road trip back to Minnesota, Niko spoke fondly of other staff members, each of whom had connected with him in their unique way. These connections left a lasting impact, and Niko will truly miss them.

We had a great experience with Oasis Ascent and it really helped our kid get to a point of better self-regulation so we could move into the next phases of treatment. The staff and therapists were cordial and… communicative. Joseph Wallace was a tremendous asset for our kid and family as we moved through the treatment process and it showed in the positive outcomes for our kid.

I am a past student at oasis millcreek. It was a very bad program. I witnessed many traumatic things whilst being there. There are much better programs out there. My therapist Joseph Wallace was the worst therapist you… could ever come across. He was extremely incompetent and he was a pathological liar. He violated hippa multiple times and then when confronted about it he would gaslight me and get mad. He manipulated both me and my family. And the day I left he was betting on how long I would be home until I got sent somewhere else. I am home now and me and my family will not be keeping in contact with him. I am very happy that chapter is over and I would not recommend oasis to any parent trying to get there children help .

We had a very positive experience with Oasis, from intake to discharge. We were greeted with kindness and compassion from the start. Communication both before admission and throughout our daughter's stay was great. We… were always promptly notified of any bigger issues, but were also pleased with regular status updates on all the day to day progress or setbacks. The therapy and groups provided our daughter with invaluable lifetime coping skills and the confidence that she can use those skills to get though her tough times. From our daughter's own words, the staff at Oasis did not give up on her and that gave her the belief in herself that she needed. The staff was the right blend of tough to challenge her, but compassionate and caring to support her when everything just seemed like too much for her. We will be forever grateful to everyone at Oasis.

Oasis Residential Treatment Center is an exceptional facility for individuals who are seeking help with addiction and mental health issues. From the moment you walk through their doors, you're welcomed by a warm and… caring staff who are dedicated to helping you heal and recover. One of the things that sets Oasis apart from other treatment centers is their holistic approach to treatment. They recognize that addiction and mental health issues are complex and multi-faceted, and they provide a comprehensive range of services to address each aspect of the individual's needs. From therapy and counseling to fitness classes and mindfulness practices, Oasis provides a well-rounded approach to recovery that is tailored to each individual's unique needs. The facilities at Oasis are top-notch, with comfortable and spacious living quarters, healthy and delicious meals, and a wide range of amenities and activities to help residents stay engaged and focused on their recovery journey. Whether you're participating in group therapy sessions or taking advantage of the on-site gym or outdoor recreation areas, there is always something to do and someone to connect with at Oasis. But perhaps the most impressive aspect of Oasis Residential Treatment Center is their staff. Each member of their team is highly trained and deeply committed to helping residents achieve lasting recovery. They are compassionate, non-judgmental, and incredibly supportive, providing residents with the guidance and encouragement they need to overcome their struggles and build a brighter future. In short, I highly recommend Oasis Residential Treatment Center to anyone who is looking for a safe and supportive environment to begin their journey towards lasting recovery. The care and compassion that you'll find at Oasis are second to none, and I have no doubt that they will help you achieve the transformation and healing that you're seeking.

This place is amazing. They were great to work with and so kind to our child. The therapist, Spencer, was a God sent. He is literally the only person that has been able to make progress with him. The communication they… provide on your childs progress is second to none. It truly is a fantastic program and I will be forever grateful for them.

I don’t usually have a lot of good things to say about the programs I went to but I am extremely thankful for my time at oasis. My therapist, Kelsey was professional and attentive. The staff (with the exception of 2… people) maintained healthy boundaries. I was one of the first patients to be here and I was surprised at how professional OASIS was for a new program. they made sure I was ready to move on to another program and did their best to help guide me. If I had to go back and visit any facility this would be the one Thank you to all of the staff here.
