It’s taken me a year to write this review, but I want to write this because I feel it’s necessary to help others so they don’t have happen what happened to me. I’ve had anxiety and panic attacks along with cPTSD… throughout my life, and I went to this place to help me manage my symptoms better. It was suggested to me multiple times that I would be a great candidate for Ketamine. I did about 6-8 weeks worth of it, I think 2-3 times per week. It messed me up so bad, my symptoms got worse, and all my provider told me was “sometimes it gets worse before it gets better”. Well I got worse to the point where I couldn’t get out of my house, I had to go up north to get more intensive therapy and medical management, I ended up losing my job, almost lost my marriage. Thankfully the intensive therapy I did up north for 6 months along with the medications they put me on have helped me get my life back in amazing ways, but despite this I have so much anger towards this clinic that put me on Ketamine. It is absolute medical negligence to put someone who has childhood trauma and dissociation issues on Ketamine without direct medical or therapist supervision, because it opens up your trauma that your body has been dissociating you from and protecting you against for decades, and this clinic thinks it’s appropriate to put you in a room by yourself for two hours while all your trauma comes to the surface with only techs “supervising” you by coming in to take your blood pressure. Absurd that they think this is OK. If you have any history of PTSD or childhood trauma, absolutely DO NOT go to this place. Go to a treatment location that has you do ketamine under therapist or psychiatrist supervision to guide you through what comes up, because putting you in a room by yourself for two hours is medical abuse in my opinion.
