Access Counseling Group – Frisco Detox and Rehab Services
Access Counseling Group – Frisco is recorded as offering detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The withdrawal stage is clinically observed, which is what makes it safer than stopping alone. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Access Counseling Group – Frisco Address, Location and Contact Information
The facility address is 4280 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, 75034. Frisco sits in Denton County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.
Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

How Much Does Treatment at Access Counseling Group – Frisco Cost?
Self-pay rehab in Texas commonly costs $1,540 to $4,900 for a week of medical detox, $7,000 to $14,000 a month for a partial hospitalization program, $3,000 to $10,000 a month for an intensive outpatient program and $1,200 to $5,000 a month for standard outpatient care. RehabSeekers did not find a price list for Access Counseling Group when this page was written. The state figures give a sense of scale, nothing more.
A fee at Access Counseling Group would normally be expected to include medical monitoring, the intake assessment, group therapy and individual counseling. That expectation comes from how programs are usually priced, not from the facility. Call Access Counseling Group for a breakdown.

Access Counseling Group – Frisco Reviews and Ratings
Reviews for Access Counseling Group are drawn from around the web and from RehabSeekers itself, where patients, loved ones, healthcare workers and referring professionals can share their experience of the Frisco program.
I contacted them as I had to complete an IOP. They said they would get my insurance approval, which never happened. They kept promising me they would get it, while they were charging me $225 for every session. Finally,… I was told that the program would be $12000 since my insurance did not approve it, so the $775 I paid them and the passing weeks were wasted and they refused to refund me. I found another IOP program which was $1500 for the whole 12 weeks. I had to restart again losing all those weeks they kept me hanging and charging me meanwhile. How can a program that is offered for $1500 somewhere else be $12000? They are horrible!!!
Irene and her team helped us through one of the toughest times in our lives. It wasn't easy, but thanks to her, we're now on the other side. Irene gave us the hard truths we needed to hear and, more importantly, act… upon. Unlike most counselors, she didn’t aim to keep us in therapy forever. Her goal was to help us, as a family, make the changes needed to improve our lives so we could move forward independently. I'm writing this years after seeing her because of the impact she made for our family. We're incredibly grateful for her guidance and support!
All i have to say is that Irene and her co workers are amazing!! the patience and the help they provided was amazing!! I truly cannot complain about how they treated me! because of their help and support, I’m getting… what I need to do to take care of myself! Wonderful service, thank you guys !
I did not like the direction the therapist was forcing me into I tried to cancel but they wouldn't let me. Now I have scheduling conflicts and my kid who needs her doctor's appointment is going to have to cancel. Either… that or I'll be charged 75 bucks that I don't have.
Did not call me back to speak to a counselor. No stars from me. Horrible.
Horrible place. I feel like the good reviews are all written by them. I wouldn’t recommend going if you actually want to get help. Even though they are supposed to help with substance abuse, they allow underage kids to… smoke tobacco products outside while on break, and act like they “don’t see” so that they can lie about not knowing. The group sessions are unorganized and unprofessional. Also the employees are very immature with little to no actual respect for the patients. These people just want to make money, and act professional, to manipulate the people who come in looking for honest help.
I CAN NOT recommend this place -- not AT ALL. To begin with, their insurance billing was a nightmare. They messed up and incorrectly billed insurance resulting in thousands of dollars of declined coverage charges, out… of pocket charges, and months of untangling the mess they made with insurance. Second, their culture is not one of respect. The therapists and leaders do not conduct group meetings with even a modicum of decorum, allowing yelling, cursing, name calling, vulgarity, and a glorification and elevation of substance abuse. Patients are allowed to 'one up' each other and the therapists / counselors contribute to the inappropriate language, name calling and tone. Finally, given they do not properly set a proper tone in the meetings, patients are randomly called out and receive punishment for behaviors that were previously accepted -- leaving patients and parents confused as to what is and is not appropriate. In our opinion, it seemed that IOP was only interested in prolonging the treatment plan to maximize revenue vs healing the individual. I would not recommend Access IOP to anyone.
When I first met Irene, I thought there was no hope for me. I was in such a deep state of depression that I didn't think I could ever crawl out. She gave me HOPE. She refused to let me fail. No therapist is perfect, but… she is the first one I have had that has started dealing with me in one way, then tried something new when the first way wasn't working. Of course, I had to learn to listen and follow suggestions that were hard, but since I finally had HOPE, and was finally out living life again, accepting the change she offered became much easier. I definitely did my part to get better and with her as my cheerleader, I am starting to find true, happy self again. I kinda feel like I should give myself 5 stars too. :)
This place is lit! It has the best people! And the comfyest rooms! Go here if u have an addiction
not partial to anyone but syd but it’s a cool place i guess
Great experience and team to work with! I’d highly recommend access counseling group to anyone!
I would not recommend this facility. It’s ran by a bunch of young immature children. They tell you what you want to hear to get your money. But they do not hold themselves accountable for their words.
Great place! They have really helped my brother and our family come back together! Love Sydney she’s the best.
This program is amazing and truly helped me and my family! 10/10 would recommend
Sending your child to get help is scary. The unknown is the worst. However, this place is all about your child and what is best for him/her. Individual attention is amazing and I'm grateful for every minute for one on… one and group. The parent knowledge group is extremely helpful as well. Seeing the highly educated staff really caring about your loved one's progress is just priceless.
Counselors are rad and the staff get to know you and they care. Groups are small and you get to share a lot if you want. Staff and group members give you support and hold you accountable. Irene is too little to handle… some of the clients and needs assistance. She sometimes has to call in the national guard
The counselors here are so welcoming and happy to see you no matter what your reason for being here is. They will help you through all of your steps of recovery no matter how you feel about them because they want the… best for you at all costs. I would recommend this place to anyone Ik who is struggling
Sydney, my primary counselor, is absolutely fawking amazing!!!!! i have gotten the most out of access counseling than i have at any other facility that i have been to (and i've been to way too many..:/). I have felt… loved since the day i had my first group experience!! other clients are warm n welcoming, any shite head would not only learn a shite ton from groups but have a shite load of fun while doin it. love love love syd and i highly recommend if u have a s h i t head kid who u need to send away to impatient but don't have the heart! access is an outpatient program and is perfectly parallel to inpatient due to the tools and mechanisms access has to offer. don't hesitate! send your shitehead to access NOW, u won't regret it!! also, irene has no chill but this is great when it comes to scaring the shite out of your shitehed!!!!!!!!
Sessions are a small group so everyone gets a good amount of time to share. Staff is friendly and always available. Best IOP I've attended.
