Carrus Care McKinney – McKinney

The brunette girl receptionist is very fake and rude as heck. She makes people feel uncomfortable when walking in. Carrus is an alright company but some folks they hire are just fake and weird as heck!!! Please provide… customer service to your clients and family and train ALL staff on communication and good customer service!!!

My good’s friend son was at Carrus Care McKinney and he loved his therapist. The staff and doctor took time to listen and care for him. Jacob completed the program and is doing really well with family and friends.… Highly recommend this PHP!

Mental health care for kids should be compassionate, structured, and FAMILY CENTERED. Sadly, the PLANO location fell far short of that standard. I STRONGLY encourage parents to explore other options before entrusting… their child's care here. The focus seems more on billing and business than on TRULY supporting children and their families.

I went to the carrus care in Plano and it was worse than McKinney.there was this one tech in particular that everyone hated she was literally bipolar she was happy one second then another she’s yelling at the kids.the… therapist’s are so bad they just talk about what there given of the topic of the week.when were processing the therapist just looks at us,smiles and just laughs.all the techs there were annoying,they say we prioritize in therapy but yet yells at us when we’re refusing to work on school work like we’re sorry school work is draining.there was this one incident with this teen there she was sitting on the floor because she was tired of sitting on a chair all day,she was minding her business till maya comes in and starts telling her she needs to get up saying it’s a rule but yet she never told us and when she refuses they started yelling and they grabbed her and the teen was so pissed she started fighting back with them and the police got involved.overall worst experience ever.never take your child here ever.the techs are not good at taking care of children at all.

The carrus care in Plano is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Their rep is new. The intake appointment had new staff that had no idea what to do. The techs are young and not great with kids. The director doesn’t want to be bothered… with anything and is very flat and RUDE. The NP is RUDE and incompetent and didn’t even look up my son’s medical history before prescribing to him. The therapist has no patience and is UNPROFESSIONAL. I am completely and totally unhappy and plan to call my insurance to determine how I can appeal. If you want to help your child stabilize, don’t send them here. Total regret doing any business with this company and notified the referral I received so they can make sure no one else experiences what we went through.

Best php I’ve ever been to, staff there is extremely nice and understanding. Ms. Maia is amazing she made sure we were the best versions of ourselves and would always encourage us to do good. I could tell she genuinely… cared for the patients in there and I’m so upset that I had to leave her.

I was told when I was getting emitted that lunch was provided but today I was yelled at by 2 adults in a room full of teens and making everyone very uncomfortable I was told that they don't have to feed us and one of… the other managers argued as well and that's not the first time they have argued and have been very rude and immature half the time the kids act better than the adults and Mia ramirez she is very rude and has drastic mood swings she goes from being happy and nice to yelling at someone or arguing with a child on September 9th she argued with me because I gave more information on a question she asked another child and she yelled at me and said very rudely that she wasn't talking to me and then continued to argue with me to the point where I stopped and she continued and I had to remind her that I stopped and I told her that what she was doing and said was rude and she said in a very sarcastic and not genuine way I'm sorry you feel that way I do not recommend anyone going here I feel the hospital would be better than this or choose another program they lie argue and are just not good I do not recommend this place at all and Maya Ramirez and her mother who is called most about different names either Margarita or Miss Ramirez she watches the little ones 13 and under and on multiple occasions I have seen her yell at the littles making them uncomfortable and go quiet

Already miss this place, Carrus Mckinney helped me so much to become the best version of myself, and im glad to say i stuck through with the program.

i went here for a good month then went to impatient due to a suicide attempt and came back afterwards this place is really helping me get better and plus they provide ubers paid for with insurance so if you are not able… to bring your kid here on your own no worries! the therapists are really good and the techs and patients are really nice christa is my favorite tech😊. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Not bad I went here due to SI and I thought it was bad but it was really fun (I was here for about 3 months) I met some amazing people and had a lot of memories here and met my gf now I love how much this place did for… me i'd send my kid here if i had one🤣 Overall I miss this place and Im better and ready for the world again

My daughter was having a really difficult time. Due to a medical condition she was temporarily unable to walk. Unfortunately this greatly affected her mental health. Through the care she received at this facility her… mental health greatly improved. I am happy to say she has made great strides in her overall recovery, and is now walking again unassisted.

We received exceptional care. Margarita and Molly were wonderful and caring. Lonnie did a good job of staying on top of what we needed. Stacy did a wonderful job of helping us.

Wonderful group of people who really care they are great

I toured the Carrus McKinney facility and know the Manager, Staci Farley. Impressed by the facility and Staci's knowledge plus desire to improve situations for adolescents in need for the area. Carrus has an incredible… reputation that they focus on the individual plus have an inpatient facility in Sherman for children and adolescents only if IOP/PHP is not enough. I have worked in mental health for 20 years and I have referred to Carrus inpatient multiple times as a clinician. It is good to know that a local PHP/IOP is here to serve the citizens of McKinney. From years of working with Staci, she aims to please and wants to make a difference.

The professionals at Carrus are not only highly qualified but also incredibly compassionate and take the time to listen attentively to client concerns. The staff's dedication to their clients is truly commendable! I cannot speak highly enough of Carrus McKinney. Their commitment to providing quality mental health care is evident in every aspect of their service.Thank you to the entire team for their unwavering support and guidance to the community. I highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking compassionate and effective mental health care! :)
