Before coming to ABC Associates, I had tried just about every direction: psychiatrists with medication plans, PCPs with quick check‑ins, therapists with rigid step‑based systems, and AA meetings with their own structure… and expectations. Each one had a different philosophy about recovery, and none of them ever stuck for me. Meghan changed that. She took the time to understand my rhythm, my personality, and what actually keeps me engaged. She presented a program I can genuinely stay involved with. I am so blessed to have met her.

ABC Associates has been the first place where recovery felt like something I could actually live with. I’ve worked with many providers over the years, each with their own philosophy, but none ever fit me. At ABC, the… therapists offer different approaches instead of trying to force everyone into the same system. One clinician created a program that matches my rhythm, and another supported me part‑time while teaching life‑skills courses that helped me build stability outside the office. The mix of perspectives at ABC Associates has been invaluable.

I have been going abc since december 2022, I did 6 months of out patient and still doing twice a month of one on ones. I also go to aa. What i learned about myself in treatment i took to aa and what i learned in aa i… took treatment. I had to learn to accept and be honest with myself, if i hoped for any kind of recovery. With the help and guidance of Meghan and the group in group, im here to say i have 16 months clean and sober, the longest ever in my life. We had many discussions in group where complete strangers let down there guard and we learned to heal. I am also friends still with some of the group. Meghan is aslo my one on one counselor, Its nice to be able to talk out your issues good or bad as it keeps me out of my own head. So to Meghan and the rest of the ladies and men at abc I thank you

I was court ordered to receive intensive outpatient counseling for alcohol. Meghan saved my life. I cannot express how grateful I am for the gentle guidance she gives and the space that was held for me to process and… learn and grieve and grow.

I have been involved with ABS ASSOCIATES for almost 5 years in which Cynthia Brown is my counselor and she has helped me in so many ways I can't even begin to thank her!! I have mental health issues and drug issues and… she is attentive to all my issues!! Cyndi has helped me upgrade my life and pushed me to do things I never EVER thought I'd do!! It truly saddens me that anyone who is not even directly involved with ABS ASSOCIATES has anything negative to say!! Maybe there was a few issues with the person who came in with the issues!! But from the bottom of my heart 💚 I truly want to thank Cynthia Brown from ABC ASSOCIATES for all of her help with my ups and downs and talking to me when I don't even have an appointment!! I was court ordered to take the anger management class and drug and alcohol assessment. Both courses were extremely beneficial in helping me understand my situation. The advice and tips I was given proved to be exactly… what I needed to move forward in a positive way. The amount of care and effort I received from both counselors was incredible. highly recommend using these courses as tools to help you continue to understand not only your situation, but yourself.

I have been a part of ABC associates for a very very long time more than 6 years of my life this year February 13th will be my 7-year clean. Mark, the counseling there and the counselors. There truly have been one of… the biggest parts of my transformation of my recovery and my dedication to my recovery. I'm so grateful that there are places like ABC associates that are willing to help people over and over again. I had been enrolled into ABC associates numerous times and I thought it was the stupidest program. I hated it at one point but the only reason why I had a problem with them is cuz I had a problem with myself. I still had a problem therefore anyone trying to help me was the problem in my eyes when I finally woke up and realized that I have a problem and I need to fix my problem. Everything around me trying to help became the solution and ABC associates was one of my big solutions into helping my problem. I don't know where I would be without my counselors and how they have treated me and respected me and understood everything that I've went through talked me off of ledges listen to me cry and answer my late night or early morning texts when I needed them. I'm truly grateful for this organization and I really hope people give it a true true shot at trying to let this organization be part of their success story because they sure are a part of my success story ❤️

I cannot say enough good about Meghan and the staff at ABC. My intake was easy and to the point… I started IOP on my own accord in desperation after a DUI accident. Although I was not completely willing or able to quit… drinking at the time, I am now a year into recovery and feel so much better! I am grateful for Meghan’s diligence and support through some of my toughest times. The other staff was very helpful and I was inevitably sent to a detox center and didn’t even have to make a call! When I finally had enough, ABC was there to help with recovery and tons of other support. Even today, I know I can go to this group for help when I need it! Thanks ABC!

Really polite and understanding

During a very difficult time in my recovery, I got the opportunity to meet some of the most helpful and supportive human beings. It’s great that good companies like this still exist. It melts my heart to know that they… will do everything and everything to help you. And that’s just what they did for me!

The staff provides straightforward and thoughtful insight during group therapy. I would recommend to all in need of some guidance.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Recovery can be a scary and humiliating process but ABC helped ease the struggles that come with getting back to normal. Very understanding, patient and down to Earth. There is no shame… in getting help.

This is a scam organization. Court told son to get an assessment which he did from ABC. They told him he had to do counseling which was not what the court stated. They sent the court documentation that he was discharged… and noncompliant. Three days before court my son realized he didn't have the assessment. Now they tell us the assessment they did a couple months ago is no longer valid. So they have to do another assessment. Start all over and PAY THEM more money.

Never trust this company ifbits court required. This places helps addicts greatly, but anyone who is not and not being financed by the state they don't care. I've been in a 3 month program for 3 years due to clerical… errors and ignorance. Worst fraudulent government funded agency I ever experienced.

Any place that offers help to people. Myself included is a place worth writing about. We need more education and programing stead of just locking people up. Addiction effects so many more people than just the addict.… It's a big issue in America today and the lack of education and understanding needs addressed.
