Clarion Psychiatric Center – Clarion Address, Location and Contact Information
Records give the address as 2 Hospital Drive, Clarion, Pennsylvania, 16214. Clarion County covers this area. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Staff treated me good & helped me get my head cleared of all the negative thoughts were running through it
Dr. Moll, All the staff I had were terrific. Very pleased!!
I was In here for 9 Days It was a very good place the staff were nice food was great! Made friends other kids in there were very nice to each other and me miss sue was a elder lady my name is Thomas barner the nurses… were amazing everybody there was awesome I was there 2 months ago and it was great would recommend any day of the week!
I totally got a lot out of this place and I made a lot of new friends and we had similar experiences thank you for your help I hope I never have to come back. But I will come to Clarion if the need ever again rears its… ugly head
Atrocious visiting hours- 45min 2 days a week!- and NOT trans friendly. They misgendered my loved one for the entirety of her stay despite the fact that lack of respect for her gender was a major factor in the event… that got her inpatient in the first place.
I love you clarion . Thank you for making me grow change and heal 🐍🇲🇽. C WING 🪽 💙 The art therapy.. the beautiful miss Angie gracias Reina 👑
The people that I met there, staff and patients, were positive and help me get through with what I needed
Doctor never met with me before releasing me & staff tried to railroad me into signing papers saying the reason I was there was due to substance abuse. I went there with almost 2.5 years of sobriety and had been fully… clean for a year. All of my urine tests came out clean. After leaving Clarion, I was properly diagnosed & given the right meds.
Helped me find one of the right medications I'm on now
So, upon my commitment to the Clarion Psychiatric Facility I was met with respect and concern. throughout the commitment I was taught much about my psychatric issues and how to properly medicate and why the medication… and help is necessary. so, thank you Clarion Psychiatric Facility for taking the time to get to know and care for me. I am eternally grateful.. and as the saying goes.. "i hope we never meet again." via Doctor Khan and Staff.. kudos. namaste... and most importantly live long and prosper!
Staff and treatment was good but the food is terrible. Other than the food and constantly blasting the AC it was an awesome stay
I was there almost two years ago after a suicide attempt. It was my first experience being in one of those places. I was on the child/adolescent wing. The food was good, most of the staff were very helpful, we were… provided with yummy snacks all day, and group activities were easy to engage with. I met patients and staff there that helped me feel understood when I thought everything was going wrong and nobody understood. I have improved mentally so much since my trip. 10/10! 🩷
Mac Miller, was here once before me. I thought I'd smoke a cigarette when I traveled hours to get here for my second time. Past patients have ruined my review, I thought I was going to exit with four stars at least..… They will help you though, I promise you this.
2024 visit...i highly recommend this place. I arrived at 'Clarion feeling over medicated and suicidal. I was greeted by staff that actually cared about how I felt. I felt validated and heard. I was able to share my… story without feeling judged. Dr. Moll actually looked at the medicine i was on and helped me get off unnecessary meds. His team made sure that i had everything that i would need to be safe and supported while i was trying to learn the coping skills that i needed to cope with my suicidal ideations. We had groups everyday.. they were run by some very knowledgeable and caring staff. I was very blessed i had a great roommate. The room and bathroom was clean. Like i said i would recommend the Clarion Psychiatric Center to anyone who wants to be heard and helped to live a better life. 2026 i just got out of a 19 day stay here... it was hell. i came back because again i was overmedicated and suicidal. i was met with the same staff as before this time however i was in very dark place.. addicted to prescription medicine and angry. i was treated differently. it was like i was a trapped rat in a locked down facility. i was met with disrespect from the charge nurse when i was in a very vulnerable place leading to being put on suicide watch. HOWEVER i needed the tough love. As i was laying on the floor in front of the nurses station screaming and crying for a medication i thought was going to save me Dr. Moll was called and he said No.. i was left having to face my own emotions.. it was a break through that i needed. im an addict and i have been put on so many meds 10 to be exact that i didn't know how to feel my feelings. i came out of clarion with the tools i need to have a fresh start. im down to five meds and they actually work. Rory, Lorie , Curt, Aron, Dr Moll, Ashley the NP and Tara on D Wing Thank you!
The care staff was excellent; everyone from the techs to the nurses to the dietary staff made me feel welcomed and accommodated at all times. Checking myself into CPC was one of the best things I could've done and it… allowed me to rewire my brain and "factory reset" myself to the way I used to be before I got overloaded with all the depression and trauma. Thanks so much for everything you do, guys, it doesn't go unnoticed and I would recommend anyone to go here if you feel you need any type of psychiatric help
I was there for a week and it was really good, the staff were mostly kind, though the night staff sometimes had an attitude towards patients, but the day staff were really kind. I was in D wing and it wasn't that bad.… The food was great and much better than I thought, especially the chocolate cake they served as a dessert, God that cake was good and I need to find the recipe. Though the only thing stopping me from giving it five stars is that there needs to be better communication between the doctor and Social services. I asked about getting out Thursday and the doctor told me I had to talk to social services, but them social services told me I needed to talk to the doctor, and the doctor was gone for the day. Communication needs to be better. Otherwise it wasn't bad
when i was on f wing the doctor was terrible, he diagnosed me with DMDD because he discharged me to soon 4 times and refused to admit he did and the treatment was trying to hard to make sure that the unit was kept… together but it made things worse so i think Dr. Moll should be disciplined and should be taught how to talk to patients.
Clarion psychiatric ruined my life misdiagnosing me as bipolar and giving me 20 mg of olanzapine which is highly sedative they just wanted to sedate me and I couldn’t keep my engineering job because I would constantly… be fatigued sleeping for 16 hours a day. They ruined my life. They don’t care about the patients and want them to be sedated. I lost my job car and apartment due to these people don’t ever go to them. All they want is your money. Also they charged me 26k for me to stay here and 7k for the ambulance ride.
I would give this place zero stars if I could.
I hated it here. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The psychiatrist was unbelievably rude. I was crying when I first met him because I was having an allergic reaction (I didn’t know that at the time so I was… having a panic attack) and he asked me what my address was. Mind you, I had just moved in with my mom a couple months ago and I have terrible memory. I told him I don’t know and he said, “My mentally disabled comes home everyday with our address written on a piece of paper, do you want me to treat you like you’re mentally disabled?” This made me have more of a panic attack due to the fact he was reminding me of my father (I have PTSD from my dad) so I said I was leaving the room. He said, “yeah you go and come back when you can stop acting like a baby.” There was definitely some nice staff but that experience was terrible.
I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to the mental health technicians and nurses who were part of my care during my stay at Clarion Psychiatric Hospital. During that time, I experienced firsthand the compassion,… patience, and professionalism that each of you brings to your work every day. Your support made a meaningful difference in my treatment and recovery. Whether it was through your encouragement, your willingness to listen, or the care you showed during difficult moments, it did not go unnoticed. Mental health treatment can be challenging, but your dedication helped create a safe and supportive environment where I was able to focus on healing. The respect and kindness you showed me, even on the hardest days, meant more than I can fully express. Please know that your work truly matters. You make a lasting impact on the lives of the people you care for, and I am grateful to have been one of them. Thank you again for everything you do.
Contacted about getting my son help. He has ADHD mood disorder and suicidal thoughts and harm to others in thoughts. Everything they claim to help on their website to be told he doesn't qualify? For everything you… literally say you help? And they were rude and seemed inconvenienced, and literally said "what exactly do you want me to do"
This place actually felt good the moment I stepped foot in here. The hub area felt great as you could walk around and see through the activity rooms and see through the outside windows instead of a straight up prison… feeling. The staff including the cafeteria was very helpful and were in a good mood knowing these people work crazy hours so they definitely made my stay more enjoyable. I feel like God sent me here not just for myself but to help out others with conversations to give them something to lean on hopefully once they move on with their lives just like I was at peace with God during my stay which helped me overall to be better. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone even if it's just peace you need as I did. I actually felt like I had more freedom here besides being locked up of course but overall it was a great experience for a mental institution. The staff here better be getting good raises and quarterly bonuses to keep them as they really made my stay more worth it. Thank you guys for truly helping me and not forcing me to do things as I had more peace here.
They treated you differently based on race and had personal vendetta against me lol
My son is there to get help. This hospital doesn't talk to the families. Doesn't let you know what's going on with your loved ones. They do not call you back voicemail after voicemail. It's a little scary to know that… you have loved ones in there and they're being kept from their families that do love them and need to know that I rate this rating because of the way that they're behaving towards us as a family. I've seen no positive things coming at this time
