Columbia Wellness – Aberdeen

This place was a joke, i waited 6 weeks for an appointment, went there was in and out in 15 minutes, no help, no anything except some bullshit story they told me...best advice ever is to NOT trust any behavioral health… facility in Grays harbor. but KD and Willow were awesome.

Phenomenal! Very good at helping you feel better about the junk in your life. Get off the struggle buss with these caring professionals.

I’ve never been able to find a good counselor that wouldn’t hear my stories and then quit on me… I had just decided that I was too broken, until I met Desire. She listened, she didn’t say “it was all in my head” and she… stood by me when I decided to go low contact with my family. I’ve been seeing her almost weekly for a year, and I can guarantee that I would not still be here if I hadn’t gone to Columbia Wellness.

This place is an absolute travesty to be open and pretend they are assisting people in drug treatment. They tell outpatient clients that the program is 8 to 12 weeks but the curriculum makes it impossible to complete… the program in that time frame. They delay allowing you to do the work and present it as required drawing out the time that you are in the program beyond what it outlined and told to the clients. The treatment groups are nothing more than doing crossword puzzles and word searches that the counselor just printed off the internet. When you attempt to talk to them about your concerns that won't engage in a discussion as they know what they are doing and have no way to justify it. All they want to do is keep you there and take your money with a so called program that doesn't do anything for you other than teach you how to do a word search. This is a massive disservice to the public and people seeking help. I don't even want to give them one star but Google requires it. They truly deserve none.

Worst experience got the assessment done o told them for about a week I need the paperwork that I got the assessment done and fax it to my attorney Monday comes they said and sounds like everything was on board and they… had the supervisor sign off oh no I called Wednesday and still nothing I kept telling them I need it to my attorney by Thursday cause I have court and still nothing I wouldn't recommend anyone to that place they knew I needed that done by Thursday

Do not contact the crisis line! If they feel the need they will not hesitate to send the police after you and lock you up in a psych ward and keep you from calling family or friends “for your safety.” I almost got… committed (convicted) simply for not wanting to live. Almost had a record that would have cost me job opportunities and gun rights. The mental health system is a euphemistic version of the criminal justice system. If you do feel the need to call the clinic, give them a fake name to protect yourself.

A place where people care and listen and want to help.
