Committed to Change PC – Cumberland Detox and Rehab Services

The register shows Committed to Change PC – Cumberland providing intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

I've been a patient here for roughly a year and a half. I'm very grateful to both of my care providers (Dave and Erika), as well as the support staff. My experience has been nothing but positive and I recommend CTC to… anyone locally looking for mental health care without stigma. I'm very lucky to have been introduced to these folks.

I have been going to Committed to Change since 2013. I was struggling with substance abuse issues and was at rock bottom. I honestly wanted to give up on life. I started going to therapy several times a week and was put… on medications to treat my mental health problems. After several months, I started to make progress, and little by little, I got my life back. I realized that the road to sobriety starts with your mental health. I also realized that therapy can truly change your life if you’re willing to put in the work. I have always felt so much love and support from everyone at Committed to Change. All of the staff have treated me with respect and compassion. I’ve been sober for over 12 years, and I have accomplished so many things that I once thought were impossible. I just graduated from college with my Associate’s Degree in Cybersecurity, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me! I know I wouldn’t be who I am today without this place, and I hope they know how grateful I am for everything they have done for me.

Erica Waynak has been working with my daughter for many many years. She has so much patience and understanding and a wonderful of working with her. My daughter has been in mental health for 20 years and Erica has been… the most successful for her treatment. My daughter has never done as well as she is doing now as she is under Erica's care.

I’ve been going to committed to change for about 5 years now. I see Erika there. When I first started at Committed to change I was very very deep in my depression. To the point I didn’t want to live anymore. After… losing my dad it became so much worse. Erika put me on medication to help with my depression and severe anxiety. Erika ALWAYS takes the time to find out how I am doing on my medication , talks to me , reassures me , she makes it SO easy to open up about past trauma , I’ve never felt so comfortable with a doctor before in my life. Erika is kind , gentle , caring and understanding. I don’t ever want another mental health doctor EVER!!!!!! I’ve come along way from when I first started going to committed to change and i look forward to continuing my treatment at committed to change with Erika!!!!!!🩷

Been going here for several years and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I see the nurse practitioner, Erika Waynik and shes amazing. She actually cares about her patients and I don't feel like just a number. Erika… makes sure everything is well with my meds and has no issues adjusting them if needed. Very kind and understanding. I have no complaints about a single person I've encountered here! Much appreciated :)

Ericka Waynick has been my doctor for several years. I have nothing but good things to say about her as a person and as a doctor. She listens to your problems and has adjusted my medication as needed. I would highly… recommend Ericka to anyone who has a mental health issue. My last name is now VanMeter instead of Oester.

I have been a patient at CTC for a decade. My provider, Erika, has been incredible the entire way. I have a lot to say about her kindness and patience, but I want to emphasize what I feel is her most impactful… attribute, and that is her humanity. It’s not just that Erika expresses interest in things you share with her, she remembers them and engages with you like a person that matters. In the mental health field, it is paramount to remember that for people who are struggling, little things are a big deal. For those who may feel alone, isolated and like no one cares about them, that effort is profoundly meaningful, and in some cases, life saving. I have had many providers over the course of my life and Erika has surpassed them all in character and integrity. If she says she will do something, she gets it done. She goes out of her way to accommodate and take care of her patients. I love that she is so real when so many others are so impersonal and aloof. I hope we never lose her, i would personally be devastated. 10/10 would recommend. 🩷

I have been with committed to change for a very long time now. Their nurse practitioner Erika is AMAZING. She has helped not only me, but my daughter and brother as well. She is always very understanding and… professional. She has listened to any concerns we have had with our medications and has worked with us on steps to fix the issues. I have been to see a lot of doctor and nurse practitioners since I was around age 6. Erika is by far the best one I have been to. I have never felt so truly heard and understood when it came to my mental health. Erika has truly been a blessing to my family and I. I cant thank her enough for everything she has done for us.

This is review is to point out the lengths Erika will go for her clients. I've been going to CTC for a few years now. It has been one of the most positive experiences of my life. From being a recovering addict, who just… felt like a statistic in another clinic, CTC & Erika have treated me like a person, with a life and feelings. Erika and CTC staff haven't just saved my life, but they have saved my relationship with my children. Keeping me in line and in check is a specialty of CTC. Erika has been such an inspiration and anchor point in my life, I truly don't know what I would do without her and the staff. Every time we meet she is genuinely concerned about me and my family, even my father, which she knows has just beaten sinus cancer. I appreciate the attention and support she has given me. Thanks so much CTC & Erika!!

Decent when you can actually get in. Wait times are atrocious. You can get there on time and have to wait ten minutes to an hour to be seen. Every single visit I have had to wait for about 10 or 20 minutes on average,… and whenever the waiting room is packed, I've waited nearly an hour on two occasions before getting fed up and leaving. Care is also not great, especially not for how long the wait times are. Going here is more of a gamble than high stakes poker.

We have been trying to get our son in for the past year. They have cancelled and/or rescheduled his appointment four times with 3-4 months in between appointments with no notice until we get him from school, take him… there and then they inform us his appointment has been cancelled. Couldn't call or text any of the four times. Worst doctors office in my opinion.
