Comprehensive Healthcare – Selah Detox and Rehab Services
Comprehensive Healthcare – Selah is listed as running residential treatment. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

When reading, give most weight to concrete detail, such as how quickly an appointment was offered or how family members were kept informed.
This is a phenomenal facility. I was there for a week during the Thanksgiving week. The staff was super professional and empathetic. The food was decent. Everyone was so kind and patient. Great folks. Edit: I've noticed… a negative review below me. Please please please disregard it. I ask this because A. This is a very very good and friendly facility and B. because any other facilities on this side of the state are 1000% times worse. I know this because I work in a hospital, I've been to this facility and was placed there by someone in the hospital that I work at. I've talked to him since my stay and he's told be flat out that he tries to place people in this facility because it really is the best. I will say that your loved one could do with some toiletries if they're staying there because the ones on offer from the facility are awful (which, considering budgets makes sense) but other than that, there's nothing to worry about. Super empathetic staff who are wholly devoted to this mission of helping people are at their lowest moment. I will be forever grateful to them.
I feel compelled to share my positive experience thus far with Selah E&T. This facility has a group of highly trained professionals; The patience they have for this line of work is impressive and it takes a selfless,… and giving kind of person to pursue it. I have a family member in their care currently, and I am incredibly grateful especially for the Provider Thomas Bell, and discharge coordinator, Liz.. and the compassion & help I’ve encountered with them, as well as some of the nurses. They listen, they care, they try for you. It has truly been a blessing in difficult times. I can be confident my family member is in good hands during their stay and recovery here, and that is a huge load off in hard times. Highly recommend.
I dont recommend this facility, they have practically no groups, everyone basically sits in chairs staring at walls all day. The facility also escalates to extreme measures very quickly, once they get frustrated with… “dealing with you”, they were going to get an order to give me medication by force (physical restraint and a shot, every day for as long as they want) because they placed me on a medication that i informed them that i had previously had a very negative experience with. When I talked to a lawyer to fight the providers decision they decided to instead just send me home the next day. Mandating me to attend therapy through Comprehensive, another thing i told them i didnt wish to do again because of previous experiences, they are very dismissive of peoples feelings and invalid their clients experiences. They will discharge you solely because they don’t want to have to deal with your experiences and your situation. They also let personal beliefs and feelings affect patients treatment. Some staff are nice and seem like they care, the food is better then many places, but overall I do not recommend.
I loved the staff and how caring they are ♡
This facility doesn’t have a social worker yet has a patient advocate who doesn’t bother to advocate for their patients. There is a lack of communication overall with family. Maybe they get so used to patients that… don’t have family. Maybe it’s the lack of funding or maybe it’s the lack of empathy of their employees. My prayers go out to all the families and patients
I didn't think about doing a review for them, but it's been over a year since I was there and I *still* think about this place from time to time. Seriously helped me when I was at the lowest point in my life. I met some… pretty great people while there, too. The staff were friendly and treated me and everyone there with respect. Highly recommend inpatient facilities when you reach your lowest point.
I needed help from this facility for my son and do you know what they just treated him as a # they have to have their quota right? How sad and he was asking for help to no avail did they help him 3 days and they told… him he had to leave ... thank god and my Angel's watching over me he is getting the help he needs. And to all who didn't have it in their hearts to reach out and give me a hand or call to ask if I they could help plz dont bother ... god bless everyone...JHA
