Crossroads Turning Points Inc – Colorado Springs Detox and Rehab Services
Services at Crossroads Turning Points Inc – Colorado Springs run to detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Withdrawal is managed under clinical observation before other treatment begins, which matters most in the first seventy-two hours for alcohol and benzodiazepines. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards.
The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Establishing what happens after the program ends is worth doing early. Ask how the program handles someone who has been through treatment before.

Instead of talking badly about this facility, I will simply post facts. You will not bring in ANYTHING. No clothes, journals, pens, bedding, etc. Dont waste time packing. You are given orange scrubs and orange slippers.… Oh you have a fav pair of socks? Sucks, heres white tube socks. You will not smoke or vape. You will not access your phone. Theres a landline that you can use after everyone else is done. You will not be able to get fresh air. Theres plenty of windows! They connect to the ceiling so you cant look outside. You will not bring your own toiletries. You WILL share a room that has 9 beds. There is no comfortable place to relax. Your twin size mattress and 1 single pillow is not designed to be comfortable. The day room has plastic prison style bench tables. There is a single TV. You will be given a single orange silicone cup and two lemonade crystal light packs. There are no games, crafts, hobbies, or books to pass the time. If you are lucky, you can ask for a compensation notebook and pen. You can write. I wrote about how I would in fact not be staying here for 3 days and how I was genuinely concerned that due to the way it was structured, that I would be in worse shape than when I entered. This place may be what gets someone to stay sober, I personally feel it causes more harm than good. Its not a recovery center. Its a sober up and get out facility. I felt like I had literally voluntarily went to jail. Good news though. Unlike jail, I told the staff I would be leaving and after stripped the hospital blankets and sheets off the plastic mattress, I simply walked out the door. Feeling pretty disgusted with what govt funding was considering rehabilitation.
I've been to this place many times, and they have the time and patience to help you it's worth it. Friendly staff.
I believe that I am reviewing the right location. Today I spoke with Brittney the Outpatient Counselor. I cannot begin to explain how she made my stress level diminish in seconds. She spent time with me on the phone,… helped me through some items I was stressed on, and made me feel like a person she cared about. As I was booking my visit to see her, she asked “So, what’s your name?” That was the moment I realized that she was in her role because she wants to help people. She treated me so well and I had forgotten to even give my name to her like normal people do at the start of the conversation. I haven’t began my program. However, I am very confident that I will be treated with respect. In a 20 minute conversation, I was heard and respected. Thank you Brittney, your kindness was needed and appreciated. -K
Detox center
Most of the staff was nice, but the place legitimately feels like a prison, when I went there I thought it was a place to get some help, first thing they do is take all my belongings including my phone and made me put… on a bright orange jumpsuit, it literally felt like jail. All they did was periodically take my blood pressure put me in a room with 10 other people where we slept on uncomfortable mattresses on the floor. I'd say this was not the right place for me to be
You gotta be kidding me. You guys are supposed to help people that want to get sober or just to sober up you guys do not have the right to be me and disrespectful could you imagine if you were in our shoes you guys are… just in it for the money you like forcing meds down people's throats and when they're having a breakdown you laugh about it
They treat their patients horrible. If they have a panic attack they will sit there and torment them and then do stuff but blame the patient. Also they vape inside. But do not allow the patient to. This place should be… shut down!
