Eating Recovery Center – Conroe Detox and Rehab Services

The provision listed at Eating Recovery Center – Conroe is partial hospitalization and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

Eating Recovery Center – Conroe Address, Location and Contact Information

17350 Saint Lukes Way, Conroe, Texas, 77384 is the address held. This address falls in Montgomery County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Admissions lines are frequently busiest early in the week, which is worth knowing if the first attempt fails.

ERC saved my life and I'm so very thankful. I initially started in residential care in Plano and then completed PHP and IOP at the Woodlands location. The staff is absolutely amazing!!! Dr. Brown Dr. Suarez Samantha… (Primary Therapist)- Thank you for getting me past my stuck points) Jordan (Dietician)- Thank you for understanding me and getting through the PB& J :) Pam Tybee Chris Alyssa Michelle Wendy Courtney Alexis Nikole Ana Joshlyn Natalie Destiny This is a team that truly cares about you getting the care you need. They equipped me with coping skills I will need to get through hard times (Breathing, Mindfulness, Opposite action, defusion, mechanical eating, etc). The individual and group sessions were helpful especially if you really want the help. I can't complain about anything and the blessing is I'm back to taking care of me. Thank you again and please forgive me if I left anyone off. Additionally, the MC's named above, it was a pleasure sitting with you wonderful individuals 7 days a week. It shows that you really care and the tools you equipped me will last me a lifetime. If you need a ED center, this is the place to be, I promise your life will forever be changed. And to all who are struggling, never forget to give yourself grace and self compassion.

My son has ARFID and enrolled in ERC's partial hospitalization program in 2023 with the stated goal of getting him to eat new foods. They got him to gain weight through nutritional supplements, which is fantastic, but… they allowed him to stare at foods he didn't want to eat until the timer ran out, at which point he had another supplement. The first word in ARFID is avoidant, and he was allowed to avoid eating things he didn't want to eat. Despite several months of PH and OP treatment, my son was "graduated" from their program eating almost nothing more than when he started. Particularly disappointing was that when he needed to see an outside specialist, the specialist wasn't brought into the clinic, but I was given a referral and told to make an appointment, which might be months in the future. Your experience may be different, but ERC was ineffective in treating my son's eating disorder, and I cannot recommend them for ARFID treatment based on my experience there.

Staff members are caring but it's a very institutionalized, strict approach to every patient with little attention to case-by-case differentials. Not a realistic transition to real life as they have very rigid rules and… going back to work/home environment will be very shocking and triggering - you don't get a lot of chances practice and program can be very inflexible. They treat you like a kid and don't take your concerns seriously as they're bound by corporate policies. You definitely feel like a cog in a machine rather than an adult human with real life goals/feelings/passions/responsibilities.

I am going to keep this short and sweet, but this place saved my life. Everyone here is absolutely amazing and helpful! I will forever be grateful for my experience with ERC.

This place is supposed to promote trust and healing. It is completely opposite. Specifically therapist joshlyn. I already had trust issues before coming here.. and after being discharged I have even more due to her.… HIPAA doesn’t apply here apparently. I’m glad I invested in a lawyer when I first had the feeling they weren’t there to help me, but more against me. When I left residential I tried to fight so hard not to go back to this place, but was threatened with not being allowed to go back to work unless I did. The pro-T’s are amazing— Ana, Alexus, Courtney, Rachel— Trish and LaGretta. All AMAZING. Also therapist Amanda. It’s unfortunate that the place they are working in is associated where trust with patients isn’t a top priority. Coming from residential I feel like I REGRESSED. I don’t feel like I moved forward with ANY progress with my treatment team. Unfortunately I feel like a dollar sign was placed on my forehead until I fought back enough for them to realize I wasn’t giving into their BS. Once everything was called out, they decided to all bombard me with a “meeting” agreeing to discharge me today since I denied to comply with their requests to locate an outside team. Just beware. Going here is already opening vulnerability… joshlyn took advantage of that for me.. and I will be fighting this with a legal team.

The individual therapist and dietitians were good, but the program itself was very disorganized and invalidating. It is supposed to be a place that makes you feel welcomed and help you heal, but it did the opposite.
