I just recently graduated from Embark, on January 22nd, 2026. I did both the PHP program and the IOP program. I just want to say thank you to everyone at Embark — you all genuinely saved my life. This experience was… beyond what I could have ever imagined. With my therapist, Alyssa, she pushed me and saw the light in me even when I couldn’t see it. I am forever grateful to her. I am also so grateful to have met such amazing people in our group sessions. Those bonds and relationships will forever take up space in my heart. I am forever grateful and thankful to Embark for all the positivity, love, growth, support, patience, help, and healing they brought in my life and for fostering an environment that allowed me to be comfortable with showing all the parts of me that I was too afraid to show before. I did the VIOP with Embark and it was a success. This program taught me a lot of skills that I use day to day. The staff were very understanding and willing to help with all your needs. I felt extremely cared for and I… felt heard and seen. I met people that changed my life for the better. I recommend this program to anyone who needs a little extra help with their moods or needs.

I sent my daughter not knowing what the outcome would be. It’s so looked down upon in sending your child to places like this but in eternally grateful for you all. The staff was wonderful and treated my child like she… was one of their own. At no point did I feel like she wasn’t growing. She uses what she learns daily and also I loved the family therapy portion. It allowed for free expression and not feel like things had to be held back. I definitely recommend Embark.

Embark has been a great and safe place for our daughter to learn vital skills to help her manage her stress, anxiety and fear. Her treatment has been personalized and the staff has been so patient with her in both good… and bad days. I would highly recommend Embark Buckhead to families who have struggling teens or young adults.

Overall was a decent experience. I was there for 6 months as a 4-day a week patient. The people who work there do care to an extent, medication was horribly managed and the programs were quite repetitive. I had to… switched therapist multiple times due to inconsistent staff. Great people though, overall it was an okay experience. Would likely not recommend due to high prices.

My family’s experience with Embark Behavioral Health was an outstanding one. From the initial consult with Shelina, the clinic’s director, all the way throughout the program (we did both the PHP and IOP programs), I… give this facility the highest of marks. I do want to thank some individuals who went above and beyond in helping my pre-teen daughter with her anxiety and depression. From when you walk-in being greeted by Ms Natasha, who is just a comforting presence each and every day, to Mr Nelson and a host of others who work day in and day out challenging, comforting, and working with our kids to bring them closer to joy. I want to send a special thank you to Ms Keisha, my daughters primary therapist, who helped my daughter immensely and became a trusted partner to both my daughter and our family through the family sessions. I am both appreciative and grateful for this place and more importantly the people that work there.

Shellina and staff are extremely professional and caring. They were very supportive and instrumental in helping my son and improving his mental health during his time there. Their jobs aren’t easy but they assured us… every step of the way that my son was in good hands. My family was treated as a unit and we all benefited greatly from the superior services provided by Embark. Thank you Nelson for reaching my son when no one else could! I highly recommend this facility for behavioral health services!
