Enlightened Recovery – Kalamazoo

Big thanks to enlightened recovery for giving me the help and the tools i needed to move forward in life. The techs, nurses, cooking staff where all very helpful and respectful!

This place is so amazing! It's one of the best experiences of my life! The Tech's Katie T., Jamal, Cara, Drew, Anesha, Aleah, Zaria, Malanah, Ray and Maleah helped me so much and made me feel so important and cared for!… They are great people! My Therapist Javon is the real deal and made me realize I'm worthy of a good life! He's the G. O. A. T! The nursing staff is professional and compassionate! Sabrina and summer were also really wonderful and there for me! I highly recommend this place! I will be successful in my sobriety journey this time because of enlightened recovery! ❤️❤️❤️

Enlightened Recovery has a wonderful structured program that teaches recovery and also mental health and provides guidance to outside help for when you leave. Food is decent and abundant. Staff is caring and truly want… the best for every individual. Sabrina, Summer, Bryan, Brian, Maleah, Drew, Michelle, Malayna, Anesha, Symone, Aaron, Javon, Elaine and all the ones I don’t remember the names. You are all amazing and I appreciate every one of your support and love. By far the best recovery program I have gone to.

Had no expectations coming in and I’ve been so blessed to find my way to a new sober life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Gods bless you all.

Awesome experience

Had a great recovery. learned a lot about my self and all the tools I learned. Techs and staff were very helpful. People I met that helped out also. Discharge went smooth and very helpful. Thank you and I will recommend… enlightened recovery when I get out. Thanks for everything.

Staff have been very caring, considerate, helpful, especially Sarah T, Javon, and Summer. The nursing staff have been outstanding meeting all of my medical needs. Psych doctor and physicians have met all my medical… needs as well. I highly recommend this program to ANYONE WHO IS SERIOUS ABOUT RECOVERY as it is consistent schedule and tightly ran program that I feel has given me a new life. Sabrina will not let you leave here without follow through and commitment.

A good experience helped a lot

Now that I am coming up on 60 days in my recovery journey, I now realize/understand exactly how much Enlightened Recovery taught me during my time there. Their relationship class which I at first thought of as torture… because of all the hard truths about yourself and others that you learn, has been the absolute most help to me in more ways than one. I am Loving myself, loving others and I am able to see the people that love me for me. I will forever be grateful for each and every person I crossed paths with here, they were the start of me becoming who I am created to be! Thank you all! Much l♥️ve!

Staff was caring and attentive. A good place to begin my recovery journey.

I was very frustrated thru a lot of my experience. However, it being my first rehab and they're undergoing many changes while in my stay, I still was accommodated with whatever I was in dire need of. (Although I had to… pester them quite often n sometimes harshly.) They aren't the best at individual needs care but they do try. Their staff is half people that been here a long time and listen and know what's going on, and half is new or in training and have no idea what's going on. I still think my overall experience taught me great lessons and I learned how to better myself in excruciating yet exceptional ways. So I give them 4 stars because even though I struggled I still ended up well and better off than when I got here.

Had a positive experience. Thd staff was very understanding and professional. A lot of therapeutic and holistic classes. The food was amazing. And the therapist were second to none. I would definitely recommend… enlightened recovery

I left December 3rd, 2025 after being in the program completely. I sadly fell back into my addiction not long after up until July of 2026. I didn’t know who to call and where to go, so I called a hotline and they… recommended Skywood. However, with my past experience, my parents advocated I go back to Enlightened Recovery… safe to say I couldn’t be any happier with that decision!!! I got more of an understanding about addiction and my disease, along with myself. This time around I had grasped the idea of surrender to my higher power and whatever outcome I might face. Accepting who I was, who I am, and who I want to be. This experience was just as great if not better all around!!! Counselors, nurses, techs, cooks and everyone involved who work all have a special place in my recovery!!! New or old, I absolutely love every worker in the facility!!! Shoutout Javon, Katie, Zariah, Andrew, Alia, Brian, Sabrina and many more!!!! I sincerely and advocate if you’re looking for a great rehabilitation program, go to enlightened! Be enlightened… I certainly have ❤️

Saved my life. This is a good facility. They have their hiccups they're working through like any business, but overall my experience was pretty good. Thanks enlightened for the opportunity!

Friendly and caring staff! You will get out of it what you put in. Tons of useful tools, educational classes, and daily holistic activities that put you outside of your comfort zone, and give you the chance to… experience something new. Sabrina, Summer, and Symone were wonderful! You are an integral part of your own recovery journey here. There could have been better management of differing personalities here, but that comes with its own struggles. Overall a great facility that puts your care and recovery at the forefront of all they do.

Best rehab I’ve been to. Changed my life. Would highly recommend!
