Family Solutions – Vancouver

Kari at Family Solutions has been a great help with my kiddo.

I tried to get my daughter into counseling she has been through traumatic events in her life. And these people said she didn't need counseling we didn't even get a chance to do intake. My daughter got sick ( I have a… doctor's note) and they started discharging her papers. This place is a mess. They are obviously aren't in it to help people.

I just hate these people. My son and I were passed down a rare disorder and as a father I had worked so hard just to be a good Dad putting 13 years of being a single parent with bipolar 1. I have studied genZ because I… have a Bachelor's in Digital tech and culture which examines what tech is doing to us etc. Well, it shows all of Gen Z is depressed due to living on devices. This place Family solutions took my parents side who are really old boomers and gave my parents ALL the credit for raising him and this mean woman made me out to be a bad person because I guess I wasn't good enough. All these mean people did was try to blame everything on me and take my son from me and they'll do the same to you. Watch the movie "I am Sam" these people are no better than any kidnapper. They take people's kids away. Evil people from my perspective and I hate everyone of them. Their only family solution is to shame the parent and separate the parent from the child. I can't stand the government for doing this to innocent, good Dads. This country makes me sick.

Their intake process is a mess. I have been trying for weeks to get my kid back in for an intake, as we went with them years ago. They send you to an intake voicemail and this last time, I am still waiting for a call… back. You have to sot by your phone during all week day hours to hopefully not miss the call, or it starts all over again and you have to go back to waiting for a return ca that takes quite some time. This is not helpful to families needing prompt help. Other than that, we have not had issues with therapists in the past. Just getting ahold of anyone to start the therapy process is a long ordeal. Calling other places at this point.

I have been with family solutions for about 5 years now and they have been wonderful. They always help me when needed and have the best staff when it comes to the front desk, therapy and psychiatry. Great place all… around.

I have found their counselors and their agency to be very effective and helpful!

Very unorganized and would dealing with medication with your children I would not recommend this place they are not efficient they are not on top of things and generally don't seem to care..
