Foothills – Spokane Detox and Rehab Services
The provision listed at Foothills – Spokane is residential treatment, intensive outpatient and sober living. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.
The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Housing support is listed for the months following a more intensive stage. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Foothills – Spokane Address, Location and Contact Information
107 South Division Street, Spokane, Washington, 99202 is the address held. Spokane County covers this area. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Foothills – Spokane Reviews and Ratings
What is Foothills like for patients? Reviews in this section, from RehabSeekers and from around the web, describe the program in the words of patients and families who know it.
I had to talk to three people for my intake. I specified female care only, and during my first intake they tried to simply let me know there was going to be a male employee shadowing. I told them it wasn't okay and in… the future they need to ask me. Next intake, they let me know someone was going to be there shadowing. This time it was a woman at least. It took two weeks for them to get me scheduled with the therapist I'd been assigned. They instruct patients to show up 20 minutes before their appointment, and half an hour before mine they called and canceled as they'd just found out she was out of office for the day. Apparently they don't know until half an hour before. She asked if I wanted to reschedule. I work 8:30-6:30 with seniors in their homes. I have to adjust everyone's schedule when I make a change to mine. I explained there are 2 1-hour slots a week she can fit me in. Why would I reschedule if there's a chance she's just not going to be there? I told them just to call me back when she's in office. Anyone who goes to therapy, especially the earlier stages of it with a new care team, at a new facility, understands how disruptive this can be. The woman at the front desk had no compassion, just read a script and tried to get off of the phone as soon as possible. The clinic has the rating it does for a reason. If there are other places you have access to, go there. It's worth the extra money.
While I agree this facility *deserves* more resources and some upgrades to their facility (because they are awesome!), they do phenomenal work with what they have. The staff are all 5-star and they truly care and work… tirelessly for the patients under their care.
Great at helping with crazy girlfriend issues and privacy invasion. Of the cyber criminal type, do you here voices well hunt down the guy with. A laptop and get a private detective not on the cities payroll, answers and… suspects come quick, for 200$ an hour.. these people saved my life, God bless them, I was depressed and they helped me get meds and then off the meds during a troubling time in my life, thank you Emily,. We love you . Rainbow pride. I used Idaho cops and lawyers and a private detective, it saved the cops allot of paperwork and they didn't get caught in the crossfire.
Terrible experience, Misty claims shes knows all this bs like how to help people with gas and jobs and even help find housing but she wont answer her phone at all, her office phone or her personal phone. No stars from… me. If she ran as much as she runs her mouth she would be a healthy.
They've been harassing me so badly I had to call the police to ask for help. Any time I try to call to ask them to leave me alone, they purposely hang up before I can finish the sentence. I believe they lie about… helping ppl to purposely exacerbate people's mental health issues for money. LEAVE ME ALONE
Don’t go here Go instead to Providence Or Kaiser For psychology Psychiatry
This was my first time seeking help. I was really anxious at first but the staff was very nice.
4 stars for the counselors 3 stars for the front desk 2 stars for prescribing doctors and nurses I've had good luck with my counselors (therapists). I've had two that are very kind understanding (good at their job), and… I enjoy my sessions. The front desk people are hit and miss. They aren't very helpful when you call, seem downright rude at times. They aren't all bad though, there are a couple ladies I really like. The prescribing doctors and nurses are another story... I had one prescriber just disappear out of nowhere when I was in the middle of trying new medications. They removed the only medicine that was truly helping me out of the blue. And the nurses are constantly rotating, I never know who I will see. If you call, they will never (not once in the years I've gone here) answer the phone. And if you leave a message you will be lucky to get a call back even the next day. This is extremely troubling when you are dealing with people that are on psychiatric medication. I've gone to the pharmacy to pick up my medicine and for years they won't have sent in the appropriate paperwork or approvals or whatever it is and my medicine will be delayed. Constantly. I would give them zero stars but I have had somewhat decent interactions and I feel like at times they are trying their best. If I wasn't on Medicare I wouldn't choose this place. But state insurance does really care if you live or die anyway.
Showed up for my appointment did some drawings
Horrible place I was getting abused and all Frontier wanted to do was family therapy. My guardians would lock me in a room with nothing no bed, no pillows no brush, one pair of clothes. They would only let me out to use… the bathroom once a day and I could shower like twice a week. The family therapists didn’t do anything.
Wish there was a way to give negative stars. I have had the misfortune to have to deal with these people due to having a family member w/serious mental health issues; they have unfailingly been zero help. Their end goal… seems to be to provide the least help they can. Spokane desperately needs boots-on-the-ground competent mental health care; as it stands now, I guess I "hope" for an emergent serious issue w/my family member so I can call the police and their mental health team...??? Sad.
I had a very disappointing experience with this organization and would not recommend it. In my experience, many of the therapists appeared to be very new and quickly became overwhelmed by the workload, which negatively… impacted continuity and quality of care. There was a noticeable level of burnout that made it difficult to feel consistently supported as a patient. My experience with the psychiatric providers was also extremely poor. Appointments felt rushed, concerns were not taken seriously, and overall care lacked the professionalism and attentiveness one would expect in a behavioral health setting. Additionally, I experienced a serious boundary issue when a receptionist contacted and added me on Facebook while I was an active patient. This felt highly unprofessional and uncomfortable, and I ultimately had to block them. Situations like this raise concerns about patient privacy and appropriate staff conduct. Overall, my experience left me feeling unsupported and uneasy. For an organization providing mental health services, professionalism, boundaries, and quality of care are essential and unfortunately, those were lacking here.
Frontier has subjected to years of passive abuse through neglect and more recently I've experienced several instances of acute, outright abuse. This organization has violated its own standards of care and caused… significant delays in my rehabilitation for years on end and has recently worsened my current ongoing mental health crisis through direct abelism and other abusive behaviors.
Love these folks even when I was there over a legal time they thought me square breathing after that they have me great support still and even a great doctor at the same time they have changed my dang life!!🙂🥰
Awesome organization.
Go anywhere but here! Had my client go all the way down there so they could discharge him from care for no apparent reason! They've never helped my daughter either! They don't care about anyone!
Funny guy David Potter states I threw a chair when he kept talking and not listening to his sick med doped down patient from him I picked up the chair i was sitting in and rotated it all because he wouldn't shut up and… walked out then he threw me in a mental ward that is in my eyes jail without a trial. Then put on probation because he refuses to listen to his doctors.
We were the 1st to check in at 7:30 am. They took others before us. They just leave you waiting without letting you know how long you might have to wait. Now over an hour later, we are still waiting.
If I could give you zero stars I would. You do nothing for children who are in critical need of mental health support and resources. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves.
Love Wendy and Frontier - great treatment
Many of the workers here are fresh out of school and have little experience which makes diagnosing and treatment difficult. In addition, their "peer support professionals" have no actual education in the field. I say… this to warn other people about letting your children go with the peer support specialists. My daughter was seeing one of the Peer Support specialists, and she turned me in to cps. This "specialist", Danielle B., had no formal education to understand what my child was saying, and was a previous drug addict herself. She took what was said out of context, inflammed it and reported it to CPS. I withdrew my child from this program and let Danielle know that we had our daughters situation handeled. Danielle told CPS that I said I was pulling my daughter because "too many people were involved and I was worried about cps". She also lied and stated I did not have my 12 year old in school at all. I received the CPS records today to confirm her statements. I say this to let other people know, that untrained professionals with recent drug history may make inflammatory accusations because they do not have the training and education behind them to recognize what is happening. I was fortunate that CPS never opened my case and never found any abuse or neglect. You wouldn't have an infected tooth pulled out by your neighbor, you would find a skilled dentist. Same should be said about your child's mental health care team. Find somebody qualified and skip the peer support team.
Every therapist I've had here has done ONE meeting then when the next appointment comes, they suddenly no longer work with the company
I love it at frontier behavioral health they're very nice people
I thought I was losing control of my life after a work accident, Maddie helped my life drastically since we have been meeting, if you buy in to the doctors they will help you. Robert Hannum.
I had an appointment with Dr. Aaron Roberts for medication management. The conversation started off well, but it ended on a very negative note. I have had three alcohol-related driving charges: two were dismissed, and… the third was reduced to reckless driving. I completed mandatory rehab as part of the process—successfully completing the first program, which is why I was listed as a Level 1 for the first case and Level 0 for the others. These charges were ultimately unfounded, which is why two were dismissed. The only reason I pursued further treatment was because I prefer comprehensive care, such as treatment centers and counseling, over simply taking a UA. I had already disclosed this information prior to our meeting. I’ve been working on getting my life and mind right for years, but Dr. Roberts said he doesn’t feel comfortable prescribing any stimulants due to my history of driving-related charges. I’ve previously tried one stimulant medication, and when that didn’t work as expected, I tried a few non-stimulants. Unfortunately, none of those worked either, and as a result, I haven’t been on any medication for over a year. This is why I sought to revisit stimulant options as a potential solution. However, Dr. Roberts dismissed my request outright, citing my history, without fully considering my current circumstances or my efforts to overcome past challenges. What bothers me most is that Dr. Roberts seems to lump every patient with any kind of history into the same category, assuming the worst without taking the time to consider their progress or individual circumstances. I know many people who go to this clinic may struggle with drug use, but I’ve made it clear that I’ve worked hard to overcome my challenges and maintain a healthy lifestyle. By failing to take my efforts into account, he showed a lack of professionalism and compassion. This “one size fits all” approach is harmful and dismissive of patients like me who are doing everything possible to improve their lives. I rarely drink, don’t smoke cigarettes or weed, and focus on healthy habits like hitting the gym and attending school. For a doctor to outright refuse to prescribe medication that could significantly help without fully reviewing my circumstances is not only unfair but unprofessional. I also informed him that while I have a pattern of alcohol-related driving infractions, none were substantiated, and my most recent infraction does not make it unsafe to prescribe this type of medication. As a patient, I deserve to be treated as an individual, with my progress and commitment to a healthy lifestyle taken into account. For a doctor to make a decision based on assumptions instead of facts or context is disappointing and discouraging. It shows a lack of diligence, empathy, and consideration for the people they are supposed to help. Patients go to doctors seeking care and support, not to be unfairly judged or dismissed. Dr. Roberts’ approach reflects poorly on his ability to provide personalized care and undermines the trust and respect that should exist in a doctor-patient relationship.
My 12 your old daughter started to see the MRSS though Frontier. People would only talk to her not us parents. They would tell her the times and not talk to us. They would just stop by my house and take my kid on walks.… It just felt wrong. It was creepy. We got her into different services and canceled Frontier. The next day CPS was at our door. The whole time we had service everything was fine. It 100% feel like retaliation. I will never use them again.
It's a place where people can go & not be judged & talk about ur problems & issues u may be dealing with I have a great therapist & I really like having that kind support when I'm desperately needing it, "Thank U" to… all the staff who work there ur all very kind, respectful, caring & helpful I do appreciate everything u have help me with, ever since I started going there. 💞💕💞💕💞💕💞💕💞💕
