Awesome✨️💯 Inspired me to keep going one day at a time. Nice Gym Time.
Was an awesome place met a lot of great people and compassionate counselors. My only complaint is they wouldn’t let me have my vape but let people smoke cigarettes which made no sense to me. Food was great facility was… clean and had an at home feel to it. Love Deidre, Renee, Tt, Mika and Tessa y’all were the best seriously
Very poor customer service in the admission process, especially for families seeking information to help loved ones. Very disappointed in a disrespectful call.

Gateway her story saved my life and I can't thank this facility and amazing staff and counselors enough for all the things I was blessed to have learned and was taught during my stay. Especially Danielle Brown on the… her story floor where I stayed my month of rehabilitation there. She is amazing person with a story of her own recovery that can bring you to tear, I know it did me. It really spoke to me the most and opened my eyes in volumes as how lucky and greatful I could be there and everything she showed me that stuck with me there. Now since being out and remember everyday still in my own recovery journey, I'll never be able to thank her enough🤍 She spoke to me the most and taught me that everyone deserves another chance and living a life cleanly, regardless of our past.. Her story is lucky to have her to counsel many others deserving of a better life and future!
The counselors helped with emotional and alcohol drug problems, the administration was kind and work with insurance, the nursing staff is very helpful including a nurse named Amanda was extremely helpful with my… medication, emotional, physical pain, and socially supportive she's a gem to the company there lucky to have her as well as Dr Katrina she helped with my Psych issues and medicine with out those two I'm not sure I would or could have stayed do to Psych and medical problems.

It’s difficult to put into words how much this facility saved my life. I arrived a hopeless, angry broken person, and for the first time in 25 years, I feel whole. I didn’t know how to express what I felt, and so I… tried to isolate myself.. But they would include me anyway. They gave me love when I couldn’t love myself. They were patient and kind and compassionate to every broken part of who I was.. they refused to give up on me. The experience was profound. The group structure of the program ensures that each individual feels equally connected and heard, coupled with individualized counseling sessions with a primary counselor. I cannot say enough positive things about this facility the staff and the experience I had there. All I can say is that no matter what your situation or circumstances, if you are looking for help and somewhere safe to heal, I highly, highly recommend this facility in Carbondale Illinois.
Gateway foundation is an amazing program and the clinicians and all the staff are truly a well oiled machine and work great together to provide caring effective treatment to get you on the path of sobriety and recovery.… the place has clean housing great food great treatment program and extracurricular activities. I am proud to have went there and am very thankful of them all. highly recommend.
They go above and beyond forever greatful for everyone there . I would give them 10 stars .
I LOVED GATEWAY AND ALL THE STAFF!! Thank you gateway for a job well done
Stay away from Gateway Carbondale. This place is more interested in insurance money than actual patient success. I was nearly finished with a 28-day program, but they tried to force an extension just to milk my… insurance for more money. I ended up walking out on day 26 because of their greed and lack of transparency. I wasn’t the only one fed up; four other people walked out during my short time there. The atmosphere is toxic because the staff is unprofessional and often flat-out rude to the residents. The lack of communication from administration is startling. Don't waste your time or your insurance benefits on a place that treats you like a paycheck rather than a human being."
As a client, I did not feel welcomed in this environment. The nurse manager was rude and did not treat people with kindness or respect. I also noticed that she spoke negatively about other employees to others, which… felt very unprofessional. When leadership behaves this way, it creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for both staff and clients. A healthcare setting should feel supportive and respectful, but unfortunately that was not my experience here.
Was there for Lil over 30 days and had great staff and also very good listening and just all round good community...
Good place to seek help for treatment they have helped several people I know
Wonderful place to find your sobriety!! The counselors and nurses are absolutely amazing! The faculty are the kindest! Amazing food and a beautiful campus!
Great counselors and staff. You have to put in the effort and want the recovery. Never give up because you are the only one that predicts your future of your sobriety. The greatest gift you can give to yourself.
My son went there. I hope he will stay sober n not go back on drugs. It took over a year to get him in.
Well I just called to gather up some information about an evaluation and the woman was so unprofessional. She would cut me off while talking then said well unless you get the original information then we have to start… all over. Then hung up. They don’t care about anything but money. If you don’t like your job then better yourself and do what’s best for you. Stop being miserable to others. It’s supposed to be a place to get sober and do what’s necessary for you. That’s horrible. Grow up Nancy.
Great Counselors, helpful, caring, and they go the extra mile for clients. I was blessed to have gotten the chance to heal and learn in that environment.
I loved this place so much they helped out and are so understand and always will asking if there’s anything they can so
